@@firstdowntraining Bryan Edwards is a good example. Hes 6'3 220. He takes a step back im don't know if its to get his weight over his front foot more quickly. Should smaller WRs use it to out maneuver the press? I've seen some wrs skip jump where both feet are off the ground. Thanks
Running a slant taking that opposite step. What am I supposed to do if the DB just doesn't budge. Continues to play inside shade and take away the inside of the field. I can't just bail on my route so how to I get him out of position.
So that’s a valid question and if he plays it like that and guesses correctly, it’s either 1 of 2 things. He either just got it right and sat inside or you didn’t sell enough. If he just guesses right now what you can do is make the release look the same from the start the dust him on a fade. So if he wants to sit the next time a fade route is called I get him on that. If you make the release look the same he’s gonna get more anxious to move outside
Been workin on these drills daily💯

You have one on the pros and cons of false steps?
Thanks

Could a speed release be where your feet are horizontal by bringing your back foot up? (position 0)
I would consider that a “split release” if you look up a “split release” some of my videos will pop up and better explain it
Thanks, this video helps a lot
