Regarding engine oil leaks - often times they do not present themselves with dripping on the ground under the vehicle because of the under-body panels that catch the oil. The panel(s) should be removed when the vehicle is inspected in order to ensure that the engine is not leaking.
I have a 19 S bought new. When it goes in for service the loaners are always the 4 cylinder models. After owning the S I would not buy a 4 cylinder, I even think the braking is not as good but don't know if that's just imaginary, thought the brakes were supposed to be the same?
