The drywall screws will never be centered on the stud since they have to put two right next to each other for both sheets to hit the stud.

Does anyone make a smaller version of the Wall Mounting Boom Arm with Triangle Base or something comparable, but small?

Does the mounting tip rotate? Or is it fixed in the downward position? I'd like to occasionally use the mount in the "upright" position. Thanks!

It doesn't rotate, but the peg can be removed and inserted in the top.

Ah, I actually just wanted to get an impression about the size of the boom arm and it's functionality / range. Instead I saw 18 minutes of "finding a stud" - a problem I was totally unaware of since I live in a country where houses aren't built out of straw or sticks, but stone and we just drill a freaking hole somewhere (praying we don't hit a power line).
