He is not telling that this Boom can not hold heavy loads and the fittings are made of plastic. Bull shit review. How much this boom arm can hold at full extension? Answer the question.
Thank you! I have 3 more videos filmed. I have been working out the lighting. Almost all my videos are walking around outside (as you know) so studio lights are a fun challenge.
Hi ! You are an original subscriber of this channel too! Thank you. I have wanted to take reviews away from Land To House for a long while. It will provide a more personal place. Here I won't feel bad for posting reviews.
I had a couple of these installed in my living room when I use it as a studio. Trying to find a clever way to hide it when I'm not using it, any ideas?
This is incredibly helpful, thanks! But I was wondering, was there anything you had to do to get the base of the mount to move side to side? Mine doesn't want to budge.
@@ToolsTechAndGear after a lot of pushing and pulling I got it to move. I think it was just a combination of it being stiff and me not being very strong.
I suppose that means it will hold up well being stiff right out of the box. I have used mine in the studio a few days a week for a year and it is doing well.
It can as long as you find the rafters/trusses. It does not have a lock for side to side movement. If you are mostly going for straight down shots it will be good.
I use a lightweight G7X camera. And it does remarkably well. All the other videos on this channel are filmed from this boom arm. All the angles you see are adjusted with this boom.
Seth you need to give the measurements of the hole mounting spread. Need to be more detailed, what's the weight of the unit...details, details, details...
@@ToolsTechAndGear you do, it will make you stand out among the other you tubers out there. Maybe list the specs on the side of the video as you are showing the product...
There are a few of these arms that connect directly to the wall. made to hold much smaller things but they don't have the triangle. It's very possible that product is out there I just haven't seen one.
Check these boom arms out on Amazon:

Dude...
It holds my studio light panels and a Canon G7X miii. Thats all I have tested with.
These things are real space saver! I’ve got a couple.
It has worked well for the studio and my small camera + lights.
Nice boom. Should last a long time.
It is really great! I filmed two videos with it today.
Great start to your new venture, good luck from subscriber #10.

Good luck with your new channel Seth, I'm sure it will be as successful as your other. Just subbed!

Very nice presentation and a great looking piece of kit!! This is going to be a fun channel to follow! SUBBED 🔔
Thank you! I like these boom arms so much I purchased 4 of them.
Hey just heard of your new channel! It seems like this will be a great channel!
Thank you! Yes I really like the format of filming reviews here.
It doesn't look like you ever got it to turn a full 180 left to right. It seemed to stop short. Will this fold flush against the wall?

Thank you mate. Good review and happy to subscribe. Cheers from Western Australia 🇦🇺 👍🏻
Thank you for subscribing!
Can be put on cell phone?
Love it.
great video bro
@toolstechandgear can this work for a microphone
can use a
condenser mic on this?
can it be locked from moving side to side? I might want to mount it to the ceiling.
It has some resistance to side to side but no lock.
Does it hold an 18in ring light??
It can. The weight seems to hold up my canon m50 like its nothing.

Thats odd. I have 4 of them and no issues. Once they are on the wall they move much easier.

Thanks for the video
Thank you for watching.
Very informative, thank you!
Happy to help. I have 4 of these now and they work really well.
Do you think this could be mounted onto a ceiling?
It can as long as you find the rafters/trusses. It does not have a lock for side to side movement. If you are mostly going for straight down shots it will be good.
Can it lean against the wall when ur done with it?
It can fold all the way down.
How does it perform with the camera ?

Hmmm perhaps I do need to get a bit deeper in details.
11" between the top and bottom holes 😃

Does anyone make a smaller version of the Wall Mounting Boom Arm with Triangle Base or something comparable, but small?

Nice! I feel like this channel will grow rather fast its nice to see who is an original :)
Just so you know, your hair light should be behind you, not lighting up your forehead.
Thank you. In later videos the light is moved back.
You have hair?
Haha. Perhaps its a bald light.
