Hi 1773, no not necessarily. You want lowest odds possible only when qualifying for welcome offers. Most are minimum 1.2 or 1.5 with a close match of say 1.7 back and 1.7 lay. That way you aren't using much liability and it's cost you nothing. For free bets you want higher odds to maximize profit but still a close odds match. For Horse EP you want high odds but still low QL which will then bring bigger profits because your back and lay bets when they win will be bigger amounts. Hope that explains it all.

What I don’t get here is that are we supposed to look for bigger or a higher percentage for example that last horse picked in the video brought big profit but the percentage was at 30% whilst the qualifying loss was £12 so not sure a little bit confusing
Hi Aidan, for me personally it's all about the percentage rate and since the rate relates to the Implied Odds it really makes no difference which one you track. Hope that answers your question. how about using betfair's Edge option to increase the number of Extra Places? And also using again betfair;s option to lay even fewer places? Would this method be similar to covering the field without the extra hustle?
Are you going to make another video on EPs with much more detail, eg implied odds? Personally I don't touch anything with implied odds of under 20 if there is only one extra place. Is that a bad strategy? Also would you ever go above 67 for the horse's odds?

So basically - Low back odds, lower liability,lower QL and lower profit. versus High back odds, higher liability, higher QL but higher profit.

Agree with aidan. Surely you should adjust the stake so that the QL remains constant
