Nice design and job. 1 small detail that will absolutely WRECK it. By not painting the "collar" around the top of the fill hole, you have left a place OPEN for gasoline to seep under the paint and start eating it away from underneath............. I dare ya to ask me how I know that !!! I've done the same thing............and when you make a mistake like that on a custom piece for a customer or WORSE yourself, and find out the HARD WAY like I did....... You tend to not make those same mistakes twice. Paint all the way INTO the hole at least with your base coat and CLEAR coat. That prevents the disaster from happening at least.
more than a secret trick, this is patience, skills and precision at work. Superb work!
Thank you!! 🙏
I love that texture you built up with the wire. It amazes me how the small ideas end up looking the best. Beautiful job. It looks fantastic.
thanks a lot man!!
I'm gonna shave off my pubes and try this effect. Lol it's all about creativity.
@@Z11KUSTOM You GOTTA teach me more texture skillz man! This one is crazy!
Miku, thank you!
@@Z11KUSTOM I did it. It's hilariously easy for such an amazing effect. Any other texture u got in your sleeve?
dude seriously...seeing the end result bought a smile to my face
great work
Me too, after reading your comment. I'm very glad that you liked it. thanks for watching!
Absolutely gorgeous! I'll use this as my inspiration for my next project. Love the marble look with the wire.
Thanks Bro

*one more **ruclips.net/video/UVcKMmVpbNo/видео.html** great tank*
Man that tank checks all the boxes for me! Top notch work
Thanks Bro!
You do awesome work. Keep it up.i learn different things and enjoy your videos.
Thanks man! I really appreciate it!
That looks amazing buddy just wondering did you clear coat after the gold paint or did you just pin out design straight over the base gold ? Awesome all the same 🤟thx for sharing
Thanks so much, mate! No, after the gold paint I didn't use a clear coat. I use here clear coat as a finish layer and no more
Love the dark faded border that encloses your wire airbrush. Adds and amazing depth
🙏
I use the copper wire trick too. So simple and works soooo good!!! Great job on this tank, bro!!! Also love the music.
Thanks a lot bro!! Yeah i'ts perfect trick
Really awesome Tank Man what color was that you sprayed Through the Wire was that just a heavily reduced black it looked a lot lighter after the clear coat was on it
Thanks man!! Just black paint, the same as on the whole tank, it seems lighter because the paint layer is thin, because of this it is translucent
How about some dialogue to tell us what you're doing instead of us just sitting here watch you do whatever you're doing.
Yes, I've been thinking about this for a long time. This is a great idea. Maybe someday there will be videos of this format.
Sharp skills bro !
How much u charge for something like this ?
Thank you bro! Everything is individual, it depends on the condition of the tank, on its size, etc.
that copper wire effect is amazing. im learning to do these layers with guitr pedal effects, great ideas. thank you for sharing.
thanks for watching, glad to help you!
*new BLACK and GOLD **ruclips.net/video/m2-PbWXWTJQ/видео.html** great tank. Don't forget to subscribe. Stay tuned*
Oh my gosh
Which kind of tape you are using?
Hi! I use JETA PRO tape
What color base coat did you use? What’s the name of that gold? Is that metallic, or flake or etc?
Hey! it's metallic and I'm surprised that it looks so good. Bought it from a local store, I just asked for the cheapest gold paint
Hola!!! Usas alguna resina o barniz entre capas?
Hola! No. Usé barniz solo como capa de acabado.
Hermoso( beautiful) 👌🏽♥️
Gracias🤝🏻
Wow, what a beautiful tank. Thanks so much for sharing.
Thanks for feedback)
Man that's incredible! Did you polish after that last clear coat or did it come out that smooth?? If so, what gun/tip/clear coat did you use??
Thank you, I really appreciate your feedback! Yes, I didn't polish it. And it doesn’t matter what gun, what clear coat. To achieve this result, you need to carefully prepare the surface before painting and sand the primer well, make it smooth. And if the layers of paint are thin, then the clear coat will not have to be sanded and polished. I use cheap Chinese guns, the brand doesn't matter at all, and I used ceramic clear coat for this tank
@@Z11KUSTOM Thanks for the advice! I'll try thinner clear coats, I always end up with at least some orange peel. It looks like you have none!!
@@johnlahmann Yes, I understand about the orange peel, I try to avoid it
What primer are you using on plastic materials?
Two-component acrylic primer
It's amazing paint job
Came out sweet bro. Nice work and smooth color choice.
Thanks dude, I'm glad you liked it. And thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it 🤝
Perfect 💓
Thanks 🙏
Absolutely gorgeous! I love that texture, and you did an amazing job with the pinstripe blends
Thanks! I really appreciate it!
Absolutely amazing
Thanks man!
How much would it cost to do a 08 fat Bob tank and fenders?
Thanks for reaching out! I can't say because I'm temporarily not doing it (more than a year).I don't know what the price is for something like this
Beautiful job bro respect from the uk
thank you man!
NICE JOB,THANKS MASTER
Thanks a lot
What kind of texture and material is that
I made it from copper wire
what kind of paint are you using
In this video, I used inexpensive, simple car paints
the lack of logical continuity of lines therefore affects the composition
Excellent work...
Thanks🔥
thats great brother . fine job
Thanks a lot bro 🤝🏻
Killer work my brother!! Inspired to start painting my own bike!
Thanks Bro! I sit and smile, it's nice to read this, I'm glad that this video was useful to you
@@Z11KUSTOM thank you for the videos for real!! One I paint my bike I will email u some flicks if u care to take a peep! Have a good rest of the week my dude!! Stay safe out there! 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Thanks!!! Of course send, I will wait!!
WOW! You got mad skills!
Thanks Bro!
What gold did you end up using on this one?
Man, I just went to the local shop and asked for the cheapest gold paint, I don't even remember the name of that paint
speechless....suscribed
Thanks man!! 🤝
what color is the base coat?
I used a white primer and gold paint. This is a regular car paint, inexpensive
Could you do a gas tank with a sunburst finish like on guitars?
For you? Or do you need a video?
@@Z11KUSTOM a video
Bad ass man! Subbed!
Thanks Bro! 🤝
That was awesome. You are a true artist. ...I'm taking some of your ideas by way. That crumpled wire trick was very creative.
Thanks buddy, glad to hear it, and I really appreciate it!
Love that wire technique! Geniously simplified! 👌👍
Thanks man! 🤝🏻
Reminds me of seeing someone with a really cool tattoo, I love it, but dam it! Somebody's already got it. Lol like the way you made your video as well, good speed, music has good flavor, and not a lot of chit-chat like you're watching some damn talk show where you can tell the guy practices talking to himself in the mirror. BRAVO
Thanks buddy!!
Beautiful
Thanks
What gold flake did you use.
Came out better than I thought, I deliberately avoided looking at the display picture so I wouldn't skip, I had my reservations but when you started peeling the tape I saw it start to come into focus. Nice job.
Thanks
very nice
Thank you
Amazing. Really beautiful work.
Thanks a lot!🤝🏻
That technique with the copper wire turned out really sweet definitely like how that looks nice work 👍

What clear coat did you use?
Jeta pro
high gloss 5517
Nice to see someone who actually knows what they are doing and can get a good finish. Keep up the good work.
Thanks a lot, Michael!
Great work. Your ideas are an inspiration to me. Thanks!
Thank you! I really appreciate it!
Beautiful! What kind of tape?
Probably in this video I used JETA PRO tape. I mainly use this tape.
Holy crap... that's amazing.
Thanks a million!
Wow!!!
Did you clear after the gold coats ?
No, I used clear once, as a protective layer at the end.
Ty for sharing that 👍 so simple and yet has such a rich to it. Very nice
Thank you for watching Richard!
That is stunning. No wonder I like your videos.
Thanks Bro! I so appreciate it! It motivates me to make new videos
How long do you wait or do you have to heat cure the tank so that gas doesn't damage the paint?
it all depends on the type of clear coat. And from the ambient temperature. it needs to be completely dry ( may take several days). You can use it the next day if you paint in the summer for example
That is very nice man I never tried painting like this it looks easy I may try it
Thanks bro I'm glad this was helpful to you
Clean shittt ⚡
Nice work!
Wow, Wow, Wow. Amazing job mate
Thanks! 🤝🏻
The tank turned out real nice. 👍🏽

I bobbed out my 85 shadow, start paint today, luv the work
thanks, it's good, which shadow - 750 or 1100?
@@Z11KUSTOM 750, didn't handle passengers very well so why not lose ass end right? This is my first time doin a bike frame up....even if it doesn't work out as planned it's fun anyway....cheers man, ride safe
