Omg my cousins just moved and was giving away her plants I got her golden pothos! And you helped so much!!!! Also why don’t you have more subs you are so amazing!!!!!!!
Beautiful plants and great video! Just so you know the plant you are referring to as Marble Queen is actually a Golden Pothos. Marble queen is a different variety and has a lot more white and much less green than Golden Pothos.
I have a marble queen in its young phase and she’s starting to vine! I’m absolutely excited about it! I am currently looking to get a neon pothos and the bright yellow green color is stunning. On another note your plants are gorgeous and your hair is absolutely beautiful!
Thank you for this. I recently adopted two golden pathos plants (I’m taking this plant mom role seriously). I searched Google to find the type of plant they are). Great tips.
I mainly do outdoor plants on my channel but was just gifted one of these. So glad I found your channel. Imma have my pothos on point plus my curls too! ❤❤
I just got my Golden Pathos in from Lively Roots and immediately came to RUclips to figure out how to take care of it. You obviously know what you're talking about because all of your plants look amazing, and I hope I can get on your level. 😅 Anyways, thanks so much for making this video!
I am loving this video and your ability to nurture your plants. You provided some great info, thank you soooo much...I bought one devil's ivy and found a very long one in my building out for garbage...I saved what I could and it is thriving. Still learning how to care for them, you helped a bunch. 😇😂🙏🏾❤️Stay safe and sound and keep up the lovely work Beautiful 🌻
I Love your plants! Question: How long have you been propogating your pothos in water? That root system was amazing and very inspiring. I am trying to find the best ways care for my propogated pothos. I am seeing good roots form from most of them. It has been about 2-3 weeks since I propogated them in water. I would like to transfer them to soil, but I notice that some of them have not yet formed roots. Should I put all of the cutting with roots together in one pot to grow and leave the others in water? Also, would you recommend me potting them each in smaller pots (10-12 cuttings) or (like I said before) put them all together for one big plant? Thanks in advance for your advice! You are very beautiful by the way.
Hey. I’ve had them in there for quite some time, maybe 3-4 months or so. Honestly, I can’t remember. You can transfer them to soil with or without roots but the longer the roots the better support your plant will have. Therefore, I suggest placing the cuttings with a good root system in soil and hold off on the others.
Can I just get off the plant topic for a minute and say how gorgeous this woman is. Is that your natural hair? It's beautiful. Thank You for this video, I just received two propagated babies and I'm ready to grow them.
I see many of my coworkers keeping their pothos plant in an office with no windows or lightning, how they can keep them alive. I’m just curious because I see that in your video and also the instructions of the plant it says low light at least. What do you suggest?
They can survive with pretty much no natural sunlight. All lights give off rays that plants can use to grow, so in the office even though there might not be much natural light, they're still getting enough light to survive from the artificial office lights. Pothos do really well in all types of light, but will grow faster and look nicer in bright indirect sunlight. When I say "look nicer" I mean that if a golden pothos has almost no light its leaves will look plain dark green but if it's in medium to bright light the leaves will start to have much more variegation. If she gave her pothos more light both her golden and marble queen would look even more variegated. I've seen goldens that can look like her marble queen. But like I said they will survive even with almost no light. That's why they're one of the best plants especially for beginners 😊 lots of options and you get free new plants from only one purchase
another way to tell if they need water is a a popsicle stick test if the soil sticks then nah you don’t need it rn and if it doesn’t then water! (that’s how i do mine most of the time)
Thank you so much! This was very informative! As a Virgo ♍️ (Earth Element) I’m trying to tap into things that ground me as a person & I’ve read gardening is great! Thanks again!
I have not has any major issues with bugs on my plants other than my Fittionia but that was during the summer and when i first got it. I used neem oil spray which seemed to help. Is it okay to use that on my pothos as well, if i do experience any bugs.
Hi I have a very very viney golden pothos plant with a bunch of vines in which the leaves are curled and keep yellowing for some reason for the last 2 months suddenly. I have done nothing different as far as care. I've had the plant for years now. The vines are very long now. I water it once a week etc. I don't know what to do though as it doesn't look lustrous and beautiful anymore like it used to and I keep pulling off yellow leaves nearly daily now to where my vines are looking baron now and lots of the leaves stay curled. What can I do to get it back to its lustrous look it used to have? No I have not repotted it since I first got it because now it's so viney.
I have 2 pathos from my Aunts. Both were dying the first one I got is awesome but the 2nd one I got today look like it was doing really good but I don't know what she did it's all weak and loose and floppy. Look like it's just about done. Water propagating by the way
They are pretty fast. Within a week they should be ready to plant. You can let them go in water for weeks and they're fine with it too. Very tolerant plant lol
@@hi-ux1iw pothos is basically like a vine and they can survive a very long time in just water but will do better with soil. I've been lazy and forgot about some propagations and they stayed alive for 2 months. They even start growing new leaves in the water but not as fast as they would in soil.
I recently had a plant given to me but they didn’t know what it was & neither do I. It looks a lot like the darker green pathos plant you have there but the leaves might possibly be a little shinier,I’m not sure. Mine flowers from time to time,do pathos ever bloom? I’m just trying to figure out what I have so I can give it the best possible care.
@@NisaAyres it's low key weird that I feel depressed without some house plants. I had recently moved into a new place and now officially on my own in life and I was bumming hard and then I realised that there were not plants inside my apt. so here we are but I just didn't want to get a basic snake plant, so this looked like the next best thing for someone of my caliber or lack thereof.
I have a golden pothos, just learned the name after being around them my entire life 🥴 my grandmother gifted a piece to me. So it’s very small right now. I made the mistake of “feeding” it with way too much miracle grow indoor plant food and experienced white fuzzy mold on the surface so I scooped it out and saw some progress in the actual vines and leaves. Next thing I know there where tons of gnats on my plant 😭😢 so now I’m reporting it and I don’t know how it’s going to go. Roots look good, it overall looks good… but wish me luck, this is my first baby.
I know it’s but off subject but you’re hair is stunning 🤩 queen ❤️

Thank you all 🙏🏽
I like plastic pots. Makes watering easy. I just pick up the pot. If it's heavy, I leave it. If it's light, I water it.
Me too!
I have my pothos on tiny hooks on my wall so it looks like it’s growing up my wall & now it’s starting to root & grow on its own!! 🌱
I may have to steal this idea!
I just got my first pothos as a gift!! This really helped identify my plant, and to avoid bugs, i hate those ugh. Thank you! 😊

How much do you water them? I think I keep over watering. How do you know when enough is enough?
I’m thinking about using these in a bio active lizard tank.
My pothos keeps getting brown spots. I propagated a piece months ago and it’s literally not growing. I hope they’re okay 😞

When it comes to watering, how much water do you water it?
Hi! How often should I be cleaning my golden pothos plant?
It definitely varies, you could do it bi weekly or monthly just depending on how fast dust accumulates on your plant :)
Why is my potho the leaves are turning yellow and culrling? Did i over watering ?
I came for the plant and stayed for the hair 😍
Hi, how often do you change water for water propagation?
Thank you! I just got one from ikea
should i use just a regular pot?
Hey there. Make sure to use a pot with drainage holes. Or place pot in a nursery pot and then it in a pretty pot you prefer. 😉
