I'll add this one to my favorites for sure. Combo moves that felt strong and functional, challenging with room for growth, and not too fast for my form to suffer. Thank you
I first did this routine during the SOS in 2015 and have done it about once a year since with heavier sets each time. I really enjoyed the workout this morning even though it was challenging it wasn’t over challenging and I can definitely see and feel my progress. I have and am using this routine as a benchmark. I have been exercising with Jessica since then both with her 3 Walk Strong Programmes and RUclips and have noticed a step change in my fitness over the years. Thanks Jessica and your team for everything that you are doing for us.
This is truly a phenomenal workout and I am so glad I clicked on it this afternoon. It is Day 15 on Jessica’s SoS 2020. It doesn’t look like summer outside with the wet and thundery weather we are having in the U.K. at the moment but I am definitely sparkling inside during and after this amazing routine. I can definitely see progress since I last did this routine. Need to do some stretching now if I don’t want to be too sore tomorrow.💪
Jessica I like that you are posting the exercises in the workouts because for those of us lifting it helps us plan better to incorporate your 4 limb movement and strength routines in between heavy lift days. Really helpful. Thanks!
Wow. That's all I can say. I love met con workouts, but these...whoo. I ended up modifying the plank version and the down-to-the-knees version, but I made it work for me, listened to my body, sweated a lot and feel awesome! You always make me work hard, Jessica, so thank you so much!
Nice one Jessica! Glad to see another RUclipsr using weights in their workouts :) So many people fear them, but mixing weights & bodyweight drills is the best way to get a toned lean body!
Wow, that was fun and really tough in parts. I bought some 2kilo weights yesterday but I needed to do some extra reps on some of the exercises. It might be time to go heavier on a workout like this one. I do feel "worked out" and have tons of energy for my holiday day ahead. I also bought some new exercise tops a size smaller than 3 weeks ago. My husband arrived from Hong Kong yesterday to join me on holiday and told me how good I am looking now.Thank you Jessica I think it is down to the variety of your fab workouts! See you tomorrow.
Fabulous met con for me today even 22 weeks pregnant I was able to do. I modified the t/I tummy work to be standing leg pulses each side for butt lift, 20 count each side, and the v abs I did with feet in floor one round then last two rounds had to do standing abs to reduce lower pressure. All in all great! #pregnancyfitness #fitandpregnant #metconworkout #metcon
+Camden Smith That's awesome that you're training during pregnancy! We actually trained one client until she was 8.5 months in...she didn't want to stop, lol. FYI - you may want to try more side plank abs exercises, as your term progresses, as standard prone planks can upset the baby :)
Apparently I haven't done this one in about 4 months! I'm glad I did, as it really challenges me! I used my 8# & 5# weights almost through the whole thing. Just dropped down to 3# to do the last set of overhead raise down and ups. Still did most of the plank pushups on my knees, and most of the v-sit crunches with my feet on the floor. So perhaps I should do this workout more frequently! But I know I'll be feeling it tomorrow!
Day 17 of #SummerofStrength done. This was challenging and I had to modify a couple of the moves and had to pause to catch my breath a couple of times. I got through it though and that is what counts. Thanks for the WORKOUT!
Hi Jessica, This is another really great workout. Different to the way I have approached weights before but fun and effective. I used 2 kilo weights (I bought the. Yesterday) but I think I might need to go heavier for this kind of workout . See you and Peanut tomorrow. Thank you for the great workouts. My husband arrived from Hong Kong yesterday to join me on holiday and commented on how slim and fit I look. J
Wow! Another great, challenging and efficient workout. I just started using heavier free weights this year (only did body weight workouts before) and I'm amazed at the transformation. Keep them coming!
Phenomenal!! A challenging, tough workout in a short amount of time. Love so many of your workouts, but this one is definitely going to be a part of my weekly rotation.
Day 17 of the #SummerofStrength challenge completed! First time doing this workout, and loved it! I'm a sweaty mess now, and my heart rate was up, but it was great! Started the first round with 5 and 3 lb. weights, not knowing how I'd feel. But then moved up to 8 and 5 lbs. which was perfect! I did have to do the plank pushups on my knees, and the v-sit crunches with my feet on the floor, but that just means I have room for improvement!
Just got back from a few days away with my sweetie. I needed the time away...and I needed this workout when I returned. I started light and increased the weight with each round on this one. Thanks!
So far, I'm really amazed at this series of videos! I'm discovering that I like working out with weights more than I ever thought I would. I was hanging in there pretty well today until we got to the plank crawls and the Jessicafied push-ups. It got pretty ugly up in here...I think I'll have to work up to doing a full complement of those. Thanks for the challenge!
This was a good, challenging workout! I had to modify--my knees aren't fond of the up-down, so I did knee lifts while keeping those hands up. Thanks for getting me sweating this morning!
Day 17 of #SummerofStrength challenge now complete. Second time doing this one. I used 10 lb weights for most of them except the last 2 (used 5 for that). I modified the plank push ups for better form. Thanks!
SOS Week 3, Day 3 done! Today was much better for me than yesterday, as I was able to get a good night's sleep and didn't wake up exhausted this morning! One of my favorite aspects of this workout was the way you went through each move in advance without the weights. Since there were only five weighted exercises, I could easily remember each one when we got ready to do it with the weights, and I could accurately judge how much weight to use. I used 8#, 5#, and nothing :). I didn't even attempt to use weights during the held overhead raise because I just knew better. This is such an amazing workout! There are no complicated moves, but its power lies in its simplicity. Tough but doable (except for the plank crawls--those are killer)!
What a great workout! I've been wanting to try this one and finally had a kid free hour to get it done! I will definitely be adding this to my weekly strength workouts. Loved it! Thanks Jessica!
This was awesome. I was really sweating and had to hit pause to finish with you especially on the weighted get ups. I used 15s, and 10s for one of the moves. This was tough, fun and you are right...feel real good when you are done! Thank you.
Wow, did this one yesterday and I woke up SO SORE this morning! :D I actually was thinking I needed heavier weights (they are on top of my birthday wishlist!) but I'm feeling it around my waist and in my tigh! Great workout! I wanted to go on a long run today, but boy am I glad it's raining. I don't think my legs (and the rest of my body) can handle running today. I will be doing some nice low impact workouts today!
I'm enjoying revisiting some workouts I haven't done for a while. I feel so happy that I did this one! I can do the squat/deadlift/cobra with 7kg but everything else is 5 or 3kg. I kept my weights in the air through the stand/kneel moves but by the end I was moving very s-l-o-w-l-y LOL!
Wow! This was a great and challenging one! Loved and appreciated your support and encouragement at the end! Thanks so much for all these new great workouts!
This is my favourite kind of strength routine and each time I have done it now over the years I have seen my strength and endurance improve as I can lift heavier each year. I am still a sweaty mess though. I really enjoyed the mix of moves and the 34 minutes were over so fast.
Great but tough workout! those elbow crawls were nearly impossible. On the positive side, they made the pushups seem easy. I am looking forward to the upcoming Plank Power Workout b/c I definitely need some information about planks! Thanks Jessica!
YOY!!! I just tried this workout for the first time. This was tough but you are right. I feel such a sense of accomplishment for completing the routine! Thanks Jessica!
This is the first time I've done this one in 3 months. Yowza! Sweat is literally dripping off my face as I sit here typing. I did the held overheads without weights, and it was still a challenge. I am always amused when you start telling us how we can make these workouts harder--that's cute;) . Thanks again for the challenge.
Love love love this workout! I love your other met con ones and superset sculpt so this was right up my street! Thank you for doing another amazing workout and making me get my sweat on!
Oh my goodness!!! Another awesome workout! Just finished this and I was not interrupted by my littlest needing to nurse or any other child coming in early, almost wish they would've to give me a moments break, hehe ;). Killer sweat fest, especially after yesterday's workout that I was kinda sore from. Doing my 2.25 miles today on the treadmill which will put me at 6.75 miles so far for the week. Thank-you for another awesome workout!
Another good one. Love the name of this one, too! I ended up using four different sets of weights (5, 8, 10, and 15 lbs). Thank you for your excellent workouts!
This is hard work! The most challenging for me is the first abs workout, the one where we need to walk on our elbows. I just can't do it. Any suggestions on modifying it? Awesome workout, thank you!
I workout in my basement and my air conditioner is right next to me when I workout and whenever I went down for skwat (BAD SPELLING) it always blew cold air in my face so it was a award everytime I got all the way down.
I had to use a pair of 2lbs dumbbells in the beginning because it felt awkward just my fist clenching air and moving my arms about. The light dumbbells helped me with my coordination. =P Also Jessica, I LOVE YOUR workouts. They have truly helped e lose weight and your workouts are all really fun to do.
#SummerofStrength Day 17 done. Really liked the cardio effect with the total body strength moves. Really got my heart pumping. I'm working back up in weight, but I think I had the right amount for my first time through. Didn't enjoy the ab work - again challenging, but I stuck with you the best I could. I'm really finding this week's workouts tough.
I had a few unplanned interruptions to my workout too ;-) Great circuit and love the additional core work at the end. Getting the right amount of weight was a bit tricky with the full body moves. Will definitely try this one again!
Reboot of Week 3, Day 3 Done! Last week, this workout made me so sore! And by 'sore,' I mean sore for days! The sorest muscles were on the sides of my ribcage, right in the area where my bra would encircle my ribs! That excited me because I'm hoping it translates to tighter muscles and less flab through there. The next sorest muscles were the fronts of my thighs (no big surprise there). I'm curious to see how my body responds this week. Also, I upgraded the weights I used for the squat, dead lift, cobra to 10# weights, while sticking with 8# weights for everything else, except the held overhead raises, which I just used my hands for. Great Workout--definitely one of the best!
Wow! I loved that. I liked how we went through the movements before using the weights. It was hard, but I used 5 and 10 pounds, so I'm proud of myself!! The only bad part is that I always get a headache when I do exercises on my stomach like the t and i exercise at the end. Does anyone know why that is? Whew, sweaty and happy!! Thank you, Jessica!
Jessica I cannot believe on the last comment on this video it's such a good workout. Looking back I'm laughing I was 20 weeks pregnant last eight months postpartum and it's just LOL love this work out
Day 15 of #ASummerOfStrength2019 and having done this routine my mat and the floor around it needs a clean. My goodness did I sparkle throughout this one this Monday morning? I do love this routine though as it has been a motivational measure of my fitness over the years as I build strength and can use heavier weights and do more reps etc. I love it every time Jessica puts it onto one her challenges. This is always a challenge because as I get stronger I can up my weights. Thanks Jessica for the SOS 2019 Challenge (and all the challenges before it). I am truly grateful to have these as part of my life.
Holy bananas I am dripping with sweat. That was an awesome workout! I will be honest...I didn’t finish. I did the 3 rounds with weights and that’s it. I guess I thought I was more advanced than I really am. lol! I’m determined to keep improving so one day I will complete the whole thing! Thank you so much! 😅😍😁💪🏻👍🏻
I only got today's Work it Out workout half done because I got interrupted and didn't get a chance to get back to it. I did manage to get 10,000 steps on my FitBit though, so that is something. I did feel like I was stronger doing this workout than I was the first time I did it though.
Wowee!! I can't wait to try this workout! It looks amazing and will definitely target the areas I need more work on. I've already done your leg day strength workout today which is equally as challenging. Thanks for posting! :)
YES JESSICA !THIS I LOVED I did it yesterday and forget to check in so thank you, it was a little tough with my 8lbs so I worked between 5&3s those lunge swings strained my neck so I dropped to my 3s for that move Thank you & I'm sorry to say that I will not be joining the 5 mile challenge but Will continue to plug nplay! :-)
#SummerOfStrength Well I must be stronger, because I didn't curse you quite as much as the first time I tried this workout! I hung in there with my 5 and 3 kg weights and managed most of the reps. This week is really challenging - thank you for pushing me that little bit further than I would go on my own.
I knew I had done this one, but it was like it was brand new at first, but I notice a difference and I was able to do it this time with the heavier weights, YAAAYYYY! I am also super excited, I used the 30% off coupon and bought two of your walking videos! I was using the treadmill, but it is out in the garage and even with the door open there is not a lot of circulation of air, plus it is way too HOT out there! So I can finally get back to walking except now I have some buddies to do it with ;)! Can't wait for more coupons :)!
#SOS challenge, This "Power" week is no joke...we have to give these workouts our all! I was quite nervous to try this workout and actually have been avoiding it since you posted it. I was pleasantly surprised that I could do all the moves! I did have to modify on the pushups but I got through all the elbow plank "walks". :) By the third and final rounds I was sure tired!! I am so happy to be working out with you Jess and love that even though I am tired...I am READY for tomorrow's workout. You keep me motivated!! :D
really enjoyed this one. can you recommend an alternative to prison lifts as have knee replacement and cant kneel all way down on right side with arms in the air?
#SummerofStrength day 17 done :) - I was nervous about this one -- and I did have to modify (no shame right?) the walking plank one -- just held the plank -- and that kneeling and standing one I could not use weights at all with that one. I used 3kg and 2kg for weights and was plenty challenged with that. I couldn't believe when you said we had the floor to do! I should have had a towel ready because boy what a sweat I built up -- but wow I did it! Thanks Jessica.
day 17 of #SummerofStrength challenge - complete! At first I thought this was your other metabolic conditioning workout and for a minute there I admit I was terrified haha. But I'm relieved it is this one instead. For some reason, your workouts always make me nervous at first but once I am finished I feel so encouraged and so much stronger than I did when I started. Thanks Jessica for continuing to allow me to push my limits and continue to surprise myself. I really saw improvement with those walking, elbow planks. Last time I did it I gave up but today I pressed on and didn't let myself stop for more than a second and made it to the finish line :)
girlie182tools No need to ever be nervous! There is never any pressure to do more than you are comfortable with :) Remember to always listen to your body and make it work for you. Great work today!
I'll add this one to my favorites for sure. Combo moves that felt strong and functional, challenging with room for growth, and not too fast for my form to suffer. Thank you
It's been ages since I've done this one! I'm so glad I went back to it today; it's a phenomenal workout!

Great workout, thanks - week 3 of summer of strength :)
These harder workouts are also just what I needed. I too am a sweaty mess. I look forward to checking out your other new ones! Thanks Jessica!
Hello Jessica,I'm super love your channel ❤
I'm watching your videos every night, and doing workout!
Thanks for upload what a great videos for us!

Just previewed the five moves during warmup. Looks killer! I'll be doing this one later!
What a great workout! I've been wanting to try this one and finally had a kid free hour to get it done! I will definitely be adding this to my weekly strength workouts. Loved it! Thanks Jessica!
Fantastic workout! The five moves 3 /rounds format is perfect! Really gets your heart rate up while conditioning your body! Feeling great! 😁
This was awesome. I was really sweating and had to hit pause to finish with you especially on the weighted get ups. I used 15s, and 10s for one of the moves. This was tough, fun and you are right...feel real good when you are done! Thank you.
Wow wow. What a workout! Sure was sparkling for this one!! Thanks Jessica!
It has been a year since doing this workout and just as I remembered, a wonderful challenge. Thanks. Jessica
Wow! This was a great and challenging one! Loved and appreciated your support and encouragement at the end! Thanks so much for all these new great workouts!
Just did this workout this morning and it kicked my butt in the best way. Thank you!

This was fantastic! Thanks Jessica, just my kind of workout.
Just completed Monday's daily workout. Whew! This one is tough every time I do it. Thanks for another good workout.
I want to work out at home but I have a tiny space. These workouts are perfect for me. Now I can get in shape before my wedding!
chelsep Awesome!
I loved this Met Con workout Jessica..... I wanted something like this for a switch out for my morning routine,, THANKS
This is great for improving your stamina: I think this kind of wo gives you strength and endurance for every other type of routine. TY!

Tiffany Blair Awesome job!
This workout is SOOO good. I'm kinda in love with it
Great workout! I had to modify a couple of moves (need to strengthen those knees), but kept up with most of it. I'm feeling really worked out!
I love the new strength and especially this new met con workout!
This is hard work! The most challenging for me is the first abs workout, the one where we need to walk on our elbows. I just can't do it. Any suggestions on modifying it? Awesome workout, thank you!

#SummerofStrength Day 17 done. Really liked the cardio effect with the total body strength moves. Really got my heart pumping. Previewing it now awesome routine! Got to fuel up doing this one for my morning workout!!! Thanks Jessica!!!
You are amazing! Your exercises are always original and really effective👍🏻
This is such an amazing full body workout! Love it!
I LOVE THIS WORKOUT! RIGHT UP MY ALLEY. STRENGTH TRAINING AND GETTING THE HEART RATE UP AT THE SAME TIME! THANK U JESS!

Megan Kemper I do too! It feels like all the blood is rushing to my head and my eyes also hurt. I feel better when I close my eyes.
Loved this one!!! Thanks Jessica for the awesome workouts this week!!
Jessica I cannot believe on the last comment on this video it's such a good workout. Looking back I'm laughing I was 20 weeks pregnant last eight months postpartum and it's just LOL love this work out
Had not done this one in four months but it was great to do it again. Thanks
Another fantastic workout. Thank you Jessica!
BEST strength workout I've had the pleasure of doing so far!!! LOVED this!!!
Day 17 of #SummerOfStrength all completed. Definitely gets your heart rate up and all around challenging routine. Thank you for this workout. Love it!
I only got today's Work it Out workout half done because I got interrupted and didn't get a chance to get back to it. I did manage to get 10,000 steps on my FitBit though, so that is something. I did feel like I was stronger doing this workout than I was the first time I did it though.
so in love with this workout!! Thanks Jessica!
Loved it- It feels like Christmas with all these new videos! (My dog was mimicking Peanut's "routine" with perfect form as well...)
wonderful workout!! My husband and I had a great sweat going! Your workouts are my favorite!
Wowee!! I can't wait to try this workout! It looks amazing and will definitely target the areas I need more work on. I've already done your leg day strength workout today which is equally as challenging. Thanks for posting! :)
This one didn't feel as bad when I was doing it (I even did a higher number of reps), but oh dear me, I was sore for 2 days afterwards!
This is such a great workout - cardio and strength!
Note to self: I use 12, 8 & 5lbs
What a killer workout! I needed something like this in my regular rotation! Awesome.
Is it OK to do 2 rounds? I knw next weekend I will do all 3. I'm just getting back into working out. I knw my body is on fire right now.
needed this one today! Thanks Jessica.
loved this workout, already looking forward to doing it again!
Amazing workout thank you Jessica
SOS day17 this was intense and I'm going to hurt tomorrow but I loved it. Thanks.
#SummerOfStrength Well I must be stronger, because I didn't curse you quite as much as the first time I tried this workout! I hung in there with my 5 and 3 kg weights and managed most of the reps. This week is really challenging - thank you for pushing me that little bit further than I would go on my own.
Kay Tee LOL! Great job today :)
Great workout! Can't jump, so loved that it had cardio aspect.
Loved it! Challenging and stimulating and fun! Thank you!
Just finished this for my Saturday morning workout and THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!
Wow jessicasmithtv you are amazing and that was another awesome workout. Thanks
SOS Week 3 DONE!!! Kinda off on my days but getting it done. Thanks Jessica
Dawn Smith Great job!
please post more like this...i love it.
day 17 of #SummerofStrength challenge - complete!
