Growing up in the 1990s, Nick and Chris Isenhouer were typical kids, tossing footballs and riding BMX bikes through the neighborhood. But when they put their bikes back in the garage, it was under photos of their father Bill and his friends racing Class 10 buggies. Bill Isenhouer made new memories with his sons as they grew, riding dirt bikes together across the California desert. By their early teens, Nick and Chris couldn’t wait to follow in their father’s footsteps and build their own truck.
Nick purchased the F-100 when he was just 14. The plan was to get it running for commuting to school. Instead, it became an ambitious four-year project that the Isenhouer brothers pursued in their parents’ garage. Nick and Chris even skipped meals to save money, then bartered for the best parts they could find. In 2007 the F-100 was raced for the first time. After three more major design stages and rebuilds since then, it has become the 1450 class race truck that it is today.
In 2014 the Isenhouer Brothers and Heat Wave Visual became partners and, more importantly, friends. Their mutual support on and off the desert has helped both brands enjoy tremendous growth. The results speak for themselves. Most recently, the Isenhouer Brothers brought home a 6100 class win at the 2022 Mint 400.

Great job losi 8 shcocks like a proper prerunner will allow for proper dampening tuning etc.

Would like to know if that body is going to be selled alone with that "Heatwave" paint scheme and if it fits the 1.0 version. My body is trashed and this new body will be awesome for having a trailing towing my Recoil 2 Heatwave rc boat :)
The body will be available but is not a direct bolt on to the new cage ... we made updates to the cage in order to remove it and work on the vehicle easier. that was a common request!
Any chance my pro moto is shipping soon. Updates? Ordered in June.

Love the update, but one question, why ist it AWD?
it will handle much better under that kind of power and not to mention all modern TT's are 4WD :)
Since it looks like the same chassis/mount positions as the v2 can I buy the 2.0 upgraded cage and other parts to for the v2 Black Rhino??? I just bought it a few months ago and feel cheated I'm sure others who also bought one recently heard nothing of this release...I don't have money to run and buy a new vehicle this one has to last me for years and now I feel very different about it...I know I'm not the only fool who is upset they recently bought a v2...If its updateable to a 2.0 we can all be excited for this release...
Give it some time, Just Enjoy your ride as is for now. By the time your current body is starting to fall apart they'll probably have the parts for sale seperately.
@@TheWisdom3 We drive it 4-5 times a week since I got it...The body been falling apart lol but it's put to the test by my 9 year old and twin 13 year olds...I like the beat up look lol...Guess you can say its a basher now since the parts that broke have been replaced with stronger ones...Takes a serious beating and outlasts a Granite and Maxx just about every trip we take...I really just want the updated cage but it looks like my current body wont fit so ill have to buy a new body also...I'll figure a way to make it work...The new cage and all don't cost much but the body does...They already have the separate parts for sale I'll be buying the first few tomorrow

@@LosiRacing guessing would be like 1500-2500 depending on how much can be reused from the 5T platform the axles would be a big cost factor cause straight axles on monster trucks. Long as it’s a little cheaper then the competitions price I’m all for it.

Losi is the most unreliable brand on the market. They simply stop supplying spare parts of products that are still sold new.
They love to sell you a new car but simply discontinue spare parts.
This means I bought 2 cars for 1100$ wich are useless because they dont supply spareparts.
One word ...(garbage).. the toy and the real one
