Wonderful car - thanks. Brings back good memories My dad had one in Eritrea in the 1960's. I also remember he had a lancia Aprilia, another wonderful car.
Congratulations from Italy! I've got a 1953 500c like yours. There are a few minor details in your car that are not original, I guess you know, but I'm really fascinated by the idea of this little car on the other side of the world.
Hi Peter, I love the car. It makes me envious. I also have a 1951 Fiat Topolino originally found beneath a hydrangea bush on a farm. Apparently this car originally came from Australia. I am not a car enthusiast but fell in love with this one. The panelbeater has almost finished all the panel work. I have purchased panels and bits and pieces from Cassegrande and Mr Fiat. I would love to hear any pitfalls or other info that you may wish to pass on. I would also like to hear about your club. PS I am from NZ but it is fantastic to find someone closer than Europe that has the same love for this type of car. Cheers Brian.
Hi Peter, I am Santhosh Nair from India. I have a 1952 model Topolino. Though it is in good running condition, it is far from its originality now. The prior owner changed the engine. But I have the original engine with me. I am thinking to restore the car with the original engine. Can you guide me how I can do it please?
