this song was perfect. it just encapsulated the entire story of Shattered Memories ever so perfectly. The song helped us understand Cheryl and everything she had been through. At the end of the journey, this song helped us put together all the pieces of the puzzle that was Cheryl Mason.

It may not be a Silent Hill game by the definitive definition, but Shattered Memories is a decent enough game, deeply atmospheric, and worth checking out. For all of its problems, it's an intriguing game, and if nothing else, worth looking at analytically. There was a lot of potential here.
Every time I hear this song it just makes me think that all of this story is a young woman attempting to capture the purity and innocence of a childhood that was brutally taken from her way too early with the death of her father, and then subsequent years of dealing with the cruelty of others.
This song is not as much creepy but depressing and deep thinking inducing. The piano is depressing, yet calming. The calming factor allows deeper than usual thinking, and connection to the song is not uncommon, adding to these effects. The song is one of which i use when i am stressed, need to think, or when i'm upset or bothered. The song does not always have a depressing effect on all people, but that effect would be more common to the people who know what the song is for and who can relate.
I only have a reason to say about people who dislike this song they DON'T have ears to hear this beautiful song... one more thing... I want this song for my funeral.

you know whats weird? the name of this song is Acceptance, ie the final stage of grief where you accept the death of a loved one and move on with your life (like Cheryl if you get the good endings), but the lyrics sound like its written by someone with who is still very depressed and cant let go.
