Unless they added this in Homecoming, which I haven't gotten around to finishing; the Reconstruction tidbit was from SH2, where they implied that the Pyramid Heads in the portraits are the wardens/executioners from the Reconstruction camp.

@NoNotmeNever Yamaoka left Konami after Shattered Memories was released. He composed the soundtrack for Shattered Memories, definitely, and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn is the singer for the few songs on Shattered Memories' soundtrack that actually had vocals. I hope Yamaoka composes for another Silent Hill game in the future. ;_; The series is kinda dead to me without him.
@KAKURANBONI No it isn't true. Akira Yamaoka worked on Shattered Memories as a consultant and has said he REALLY loved how the game and story turned out and that he was genuinely shocked by the twist ending. He did the game's music and he is NOT leaving Konami.
@hellheadbanger this game is a reimagining of the original SH. it has absolutely nothing to do with the universe of the original. it only takes some elements and concepts from it and the developers meant to confuse players who played the original. hence the title "shattered memories".
completed Silent hill shatered memories today on my psp. havent played such a good game a looooong time. they should remake all silent hill's less scary more interesting :):):)

@sammymvc most indefinitely. Every Mary - Akira song I have heard, I have loved at some point. my least favs are Room of Angel and One More Soul to the call, I think its cuz OMSTTC has bad quality on my ipod and room of angel is too long and repeats a lot :p
