Google makes it easy to create documents, spreadsheets or presentations that you can share online for purchase.

Hi Dawn-Marie there’s an easier way for them to make a copy…change the ending of the link you are sharing…at the end of the link after / delete all that beginning with the word edit & replace with the word copy so it would look like linkurl/copy instead of linkurl/editxyz the buyer will be prompted from the start to make a copy vs having to go to File>Make a copy 🙂

Im trying to make a spreatsheet template using google sheets, to offer to members of our website to run their business (their own sales daahboard, a date generator for hatching eggs, a sharable inventory list that updates also on the group website so other members can source overstock items from nearby members).
Can I assume this is something that can also be created and shared. Their own biz mgmnt dashboard can be /copy but their inventory daahboard needs to be shared from the host (membership website owner sheet) so the info can be used to display current inventory on the website.
If i wanted to outsource this design & development, would Upwork be a good affirdable place to start. I may not have the time myself.

Hey Doc/USQuail. Sounds pretty interesting and with Google sheets i strongly believe that the platform is so sophisticated it can create anything as long as you know the formulas and scripts you need to use. It's a pretty technical job though so if you don't know how to use Google sheets you might want to consider outsourcing it and yes I use Upwork and you can find some great freelancers at an affordable price to help you. Hope that helps!
@DawnMarieNesbitt thank you. I posted a job on upworks. I haven't gotten any replies yet, but I posted 4 projects in one job so I may try and find one guy and see how he does. I used to write html stuff so I understand coding, but just don't know the specific language. I watched a guy create a script to individual Google docs from a Google sheets. I just don't have to time to develop the skill level at present. Wish I did
@tullyriverquail yea it's a pretty valuable skill I must say. Wish I knew how to code as well.
