- Alistair Brownlee is one of the most decorated British athletes of all-time. In 2012 and 2016 he did something no other triathlete has ever done: win back-to-back Olympic titles.
However, his transition from short course racing to middle and long has been fraught with injuries and disappointments. After yet another setback at the back end of 2022, Brownlee headed into the 2023 season hoping to finally show what he's capable across some of the biggest races in the world.
Standing in his way at the 2023 PTO European Open, one of the most anticipated races in triathlon history, were fellow Olympic Champions Jan Frodeno and Kristian Blummenfelt, as well as a host of talented triathletes including Magnus Ditlev, Max Neumann and the majority of the top 20.
Follow Ali's experience in Ibiza with behind the scenes access as he aims to remind the world what he's capable of when he takes to the race course.

Nobody cares how the Spanish say it. In English it’s Eye-Beef-Er.
Just like other languages have their own way of pronouncing names/countries/cities that are different in English. Some of them change the name completely.
