10:31 shoutouts to TK playing that song with “I WISH YOU WOULD STEP BACK FROM THAT LEDGE MY FRIEND..” when that set ended - god it was legendary (and could be credited for why PM and subsequent smash games added a cap on ledge invincibility 👀)
Happy Birthday man! Im so glad to have you in the community, you have one of the most respectable and unique playstyles out there, and i hope your career only grows better and better from here! Also thank you for getting me into maining DK, this character is so fucking fun.
Love this! I wish more top players would do this type of video! Very well put together and I never saw much of your Brawl gameplay so that was super cool to see! Also want to say that we've actually played PM friendlies before lol! Was a ton of fun! Happu b day!
Happy bday brotha. Same age and been playing almost my whole life, attending tourneys 20 years! Cheers to many more happy birthdays and sets in the future!
Had been mildly worried about the spotlight hitting you for so long, but watching all those earlier crowd pop-offs about you has me sitting easy. Happy birthday!
I think two of the funniest moments in smash history were june's background reaction to rishi/smashg0d getting trolled by chu, and the fake "Fortune" with emukiller
Happy Birthday!!! Also, please at some point do a video breakdown of Rivals 2 characters being able to dominate characters like melee puff and pm wolf etc. There are still hundreds of players that think the top tiers in Melee and PM would run through the Rivals 2 cast easily and refuse to elaborate.
It offers an unfair advantage, multiple brains solving in game issues are better than one. It quickly becomes a race to the bottom, where top players begin to coach other top players vs top players during their sets.
@arJunebugSmash What makes your team/coach coaching you during a match different from any other sport like boxing where a ring side team or person coaches the fighter? Does that make the boxing match or soccer match unfair? I don't agree that it would.
PvP games are social agreements, boxing and soccer are professional sports, they have their own sets of rules and regulations, and even they don't have coaches in someone's ear 100% of a match. Ring side in this case would be mid-set coaching (which some people are okay with), instead of mid game coaching. Smash is an esports with less money in it, so there are very few paid coaches. It becomes a have and have nots situation. Also, there is a heavy emphasis on midset/match adaptation as a skill. If this is outsourced to someone else, it decreases a valuable skill expression. Also there's a component where having someone in your ear coaching you is different that having someone on the sidelines. Anyone can have a coach who they talk to between sets, but a mid game and set coach skews performance heavily.
because recognizing bad behavior patterns both in yourself and your opponent and applying corrections to your playstyle based on that is a very important skill in smash, if not all esports
If I ever witness a crime committed by someone with a beard and then they shave I'll be of no help to anyone.
To be fair, there's only a bit of resemblance between him and himself
man watching those 2013-14 PM Xanadus will forever hold a special place in my heart. It was always the highlight of my week
Was truly an era

The punch going through falcon nair is a prime example of why charging punch fully is better than 9 charging it.
Happy bday brotha. Same age and been playing almost my whole life, attending tourneys 20 years! Cheers to many more happy birthdays and sets in the future!

Why is coaching illegal? The only competition that I know doesn't allow it is chess. But eSports is not like chess

@ffi-kq1rp that's just all sports. It's not specific to eSports.
