An absolutely OUTSTANDING day of detecting Brad. . And yes I was purposely shouting that out. Wishing you continued success on your future hunts this year.
He might be the first time that place saw a detector. He'll have several good return hunts where I bet he pulls up Spanish silver when he slows the search down and he's got this metal out of the way. I'm jealous and I'm even in a really good detecting colonial state myself. He isn't hitting any modern trash that's a dream come true site
Another enjoyable excursion with wonderful surprises. When I was younger I wanted to do metal detecting but never got the opportunity, and now with your excellent video's, I do it vicariously through you! Your video's are always a joy to watch and I appreciate you taking the time to add in the beautiful nature you find around you when you dig.
It's sad that an entire generation will have stories of what they have actually done in "real life" and all of the proceeding generations will settle for the "virtual experience".
Wow Brad you found some beautiful stuff. I'm happy for you and me because I really enjoy your channel. I love your music 🎶 that you have on your channel. Always makes my day.
This same thing of attacks is happening to me and others i talk to, severe anger lashing from people for no apparent reason. The devil is ramping things up because he knows his time is ending very soon. Thanks for sharing this! Praise God and our Lord Jesus from where our only peace comes from!!!
Awesome food for you, Brad! Have to love finding those spots. I have had a handful of them and they are fantastic fun! Be sure to go over the area at least a few times. Thanks for sharing 👍
What's more amazing then the colonial find is the fact there's no modern junk so every signal if an artifact of some kind. I'm salivating here just watching
Being a Vermonter and still not finding a vermont copper, watching your videos makes me envious. I can’t wait to find a landscape vermont. Congrats and if you want some company I’m not far away. 😅
👏🏻That was amazing! So many awesome finds! I was thinking maybe there was a church there or some kind of gathering place. You definitely have to go back!! 🔥
Brad, couldn't be happier that those damned black flies chased you out of the mountains. This was an epic adventure that's going to be hard to top....but that's not stopping you from trying, right. Thanks for sharing.
What an incredible day of hunting. Wow! 2 Vermont coppers, a hibernia copper, a king George, remnants of shoe buckles, Button's galore, a pewter spoon! Absolutely a great day to be on the hunt! Til next time, take care, and we'll see you on the next...
Another great video Brad. I really liked those 6 copper's you found especially the (2) Vermont large cent's and the New Jersey & the George lll. Plus the relics cool looking shoe & knee buckle pieces.
I recently found Terra Germania, a detectors channel very similar to yours in its collecting, video and music quality. Hans works fields and pathways in Germany and I've recently watched him find items from the Roman era to WWII. Do you two ever communicate? His videos remind me of your visit to France.
Super hunt, great finds. Is there a land titles office in the vicinity? Or a depository where such records are to be searched. Also plat maps of the area denoting various buildings. Also collections of material that were generated for taxation purposes? It may help your research and , also, answer some of your questions. Are there any archives containing newspapers of those decades? information in them may turn up interesting facts and other information. Thanks for your video. Years ago, I detected north of you in the Montreal , Quebec, area
You must be so disappointed missing out on all those black flies and getting swarmed with coppers and buckles instead. 🤪 Congrats on a career day! I've seen the days you've had where just the buttons you found today would have bested your haul. Popping two different Vermonts? Dude you are on fire 🔥Celebrate with new gloves
Don't know who's property it was but I hope they let you keep some of those! What a wonderful day for treasure hunting!! And no flies like the day before! Thanks for sharing this!
If he was a crafts person like a shoe maker or metal smith there should be a lot of iron from his shops building. But then again he may have dug some iron and didn't put it in the wrap up. The iron can tell you a lot about the structure. A lot cabin would have much less iron being they were pinned together with wooden pegs. What I noticed was the lack of horse tack which should be around any meeting place or church but not found at spots where Patriots might have gathered to work out a strategy or wait for forces to come in. Somewhere should be a fire pit which might offer clues. The mystery is part of the thrill of the hunt
Wow! What an exciting day of finds! And 2 Vermont coins too! How interesting that they'd build a small structure initially to live in while then building the larger home. I hope that stirs curiosity of the landowner to look into the other structure.. Thank you for sharing Brad..
Back then there wasn't many written records of buildings. Even the dates on many of the farm homes are a rough guess on its age. It's pre 1804 and there's no way of knowing if it wasn't just a cabin to stay in while building the home or an older first home that may have burned down possibly during the revolution you never know
Brad - every time I watch one of your videos [and I never miss one] I am impressed by your finds. You have the right skills in the right place at the right time, plus a whole lot of good karma! I moved from the city to the Western Arizona desert a year ago. I have been detecting the area around the Harquahala Mts. The early Spanish had mines in this area from the late 1600's to the mid-1700's. I hope to find a Spanish artifact some day but, even if I don't, this desert is a fascinating place I never get tired of. After all, the destination is not so important as how we get there!
Wow! Fantastic day of detecting. Beautiful finds. As always, thank you for taking us along on your adventures. Your videography and story telling along the way are always on point and welcome. Enjoyed thoroughly.
The build up "discovery" music with the guitar coming in right when you popped out the New Jersey copper was a thing of beauty. Watched that back a few times. I appreciate the attention to detail when you edit your videos.
I’m Hiking the AT and I absolutely cannot wait to hit VT. I’ve been watching you for years now and it just excites me to know I’ll be hiking near all that history and makes me wonder what’s under my feet! Keep up the good work!! Absolutely love your channel!
Just checking but did you say you were a Ver Monster, never heard of that? Sorry, I am 83 and a biologist, we are sometimes known to have a slightly warped sense of humor. Love your posts!
I watch all your vids. Makes me a little home sick. Lol. I grew up on the border between Vermont and Massachusetts in a Mohawk trail town of North Adams but now farm in central Illinois. I dearly miss my mountains. From the top of my grandfathers mountain you could see seven states if you knew your landmarks. Here it’s so flat, if your dog ran away you could watch it for miles in the late fall or early spring. My grandfathers dairy farm was in Stanford Vt. Just about at the top of the mountain. My uncles always told me gramps would bury silver dollars in lead pipes around the farm because he didn’t trust banks. From what I remember they never found them if the stories are true. I’m 69 now and my uncles are long gone. Sumner was the family name there.
That would be the perfect hot spot to bring a hunting partner or two. To cover more ground and pull more goodies out of the ground. As always awesome video brad! Well done man!
Breakfast with Green Mountain. 😊😊😊
Sweet! Its a Field of Dreams!!! It's going to be an awesome day!!!! Thanks GMMD!🌞
An absolutely OUTSTANDING day of detecting Brad. . And yes I was purposely shouting that out. Wishing you continued success on your future hunts this year.
Brad. That spot has all the makings for a meeting place, or store, or pub. Super fun today.
HEY! Good morning Brad and thumbs UP!
What a great day of hunting! Very exciting! Thank you for sharing
Its the weekend again time for a goid old catch up and a chill out hope your weekhas gone well 👍 👍
It's possible that you are the first person to metal detect this field? You looked so happy it made me smile too.

How exciting. First time you might be very thankful for the black flies chasing you out of the mountains!

Simply amazing! And I am hoping for a return visit.

Fabulous, and I think I get just as much pleasure as you do, watching your joy. Much love.
What an absolutely incredible day detecting!!! I dont know how you ever left that spot while the sun was still up? Congrats Brad awesome finds!
That place is the perfect era to find that elusive GW button. Good luck
It sure made your day Brad! It was fun watching you make historical discoveries.
Awesome food for you, Brad! Have to love finding those spots. I have had a handful of them and they are fantastic fun! Be sure to go over the area at least a few times. Thanks for sharing 👍
What a fun hunt, Brad!! Much more fun than Digstock V, won't you say?? Love your videography!!
Pretty sure you should have titled this the DREAM HUNT!!!! Thank you for sharing. Awesome video.
Kitchens were not part of the main house because of fire potential. Could be a separated kitchen.
I think you need to spend a lot more time on this property this place is amazing!! Great things you’ve been finding!!
What's more amazing then the colonial find is the fact there's no modern junk so every signal if an artifact of some kind. I'm salivating here just watching

Tell me about it. Nothing but period great finds.
Super finds Brad, now you have the coppers onto the pieces of eight lol. 🇪🇸

Makes me wonder if maybe they originally had a tavern there or maybe a roadhouse of some sort lots of pocket change a tap buckles maybe who knows

They are his "lucky" gloves now. Can't get rid of them now.
Don't know who's property it was but I hope they let you keep some of those! What a wonderful day for treasure hunting!! And no flies like the day before! Thanks for sharing this!
Wow, Brad, another AWESOME day of M.D... How could get any better? Congrats on the finds. Stunning!
Excellent day of treasure hunting 😊 Thank you for bringing us along
Nice finds 🇺🇸❤️♥️🗝️ Thanks for sharing 👍👍👍🇺🇸
Fantastic days hunting.
Wonder if the early colonial farmer was a shoemaker/tailor beforehand.
