What size hole saw did you use to finish the install in the dash? I’m wondering if a 3-3/8” hole saw would work or would that be too tight? Directions say to make a 3-13/32” hole, for which no one would ever have a drill bit. So I need to determine if I need to go with a 3-3/8” or a 3-1/2” hole saw.
If the gauge is 3 13/32 then just use a 3 3/8 and file out the hole until the gauge fits. 3 1/2 is too big
@@crewzero3586 in my experience the hole saw ends up making a slightly larger hole then the blade like he said start small because you can always make it bigger but you can't really do anything with a hole that's too large.
Yes, the hot wire can destroy your tach if put to send post. I found out the hard way. I had Yamaha colored wires, yellow is the send wire (gray).
