Hey Chris, great video! I'm curious, is there a way to black-shade the camera? I'm getting bits and bars in the shadows. Is there a way to black-shade?
I don't know if there is a way to do that now... but with the beta version i was using there wasn't a way to do it.

I'm pretty sure they will have a mac compatible software at some point

flex user here. does the camera have black balance. alot of the samples ive seen online have fpn. thanks for your insight
The beta model that I was using did not have the ability to black balance the camera. I don't think they have added that but i'm not positive

I honestly don’t remember it was a laptop they sent me with beta software pretty basic if I remember nothing crazy beefed up. I know they changed the software since then I’d reach out to them

Love the workflow. I wonder if you need a powerful PC to process and export it? With no MAC app, I'd have to buy a PC just for this cam 😂
to playback the clips it uses the gpu to debayer and if you export to cineform depending on the resolution i get on a dell xps 15 i9 9980HK between 4-7 fps :) the app prefers GHz over cores :) @chris what kind of light you use? cheers janosch
I think that dell below might be the one i'm using... they sent it to me to test with because I didn't have a pc

I image the International Space Station at 140 fps. Can this camera work on a telescope to image the International Space Station with a telescope?
As long as you can get an adapter from this lens mount to whatever telescope you are using i don’t see why it wouldn’t work
ok so that is the workflow but what you fail to mention is the quality in 2k at 1440 fps is unusable ...even freefly admit quality is low at that rate. Aliasing and low resolution issues. Only 4k is usable and at lower fame rates

Ok. It's simply amazing.
The camera definitely has some limitations at this point. This is the beta model... color and lattitude are not the best but It has lots of room to improve. menu and functionality to actually shoot with the camera are really simple to use and it can just straight record no buffer like a non high speed camera so lots of cool little things about this guy... stoked to see where it goes
