Michael isnt struggling with his voice , he sings in a slightly lower register that being said he has gotten sick and had tiring of the voice whilst touring which isnt uncommon with vocalists.
The problem with Stryper back, then is a lot of their music sounded very generic. To Hell with the Devil was one of their better ones.. most of their newer music is much better and that came with growth.
Saw them twice touring for the "Soldiers Under Command" and 'To Hell With The Devil" albums, amazing.
My favorite band ever! Stryper is absolutely brilliant!
Listen to what they have done in the 2010's. In my opinion they're at their best in that decade.
