What happened with the last guy is that you blasted him out with a granade but, sometimes, the granade launcher only throw hostiles to the floor. They are still alive and they get up after a few seconds.
Seeing these cave systems through someone else's eyes that's never seen how technically "small" they are makes me even more excited for proper large ship entrance caves making their way in, because the scale will be so ridiculous, I think we'll need to actually leave flares to mark our way out or we'll become a cave mission ourselves.

I made a video about proper looting while doing this bounty missions in caves. May advice is to loot every guy as soon as you kill him. Open not only backpacks but chest and leg armor too since they all contain hadanite gems which pays a lot. Once you kill them all and picked all hadanite, now when you go back to surface loot them all again and if you have more space take the green gems too(dolivine). If you wear heavy armor then you can have large backpack. All in all mission pays 30.000 and you can have up to aditional 120.000 just in hadanite and dolivine gems. Sell the gems on Shubin mining facility or Mining area 141 on Daymar. Hope I helped. People actualy don't know that backpacks, chest and leg armors can be opened for aditional loot.
Amazing video, and very glad to see you back. I ran into a lot of the same issues with the cave missions. Game crashed just as I got to the cave and then when I get back into the game my inventory wouldn’t load. So I couldn’t loot any of the targets or boxes!!!
I was going to buy the Caterpillar or C2 but a bug deleted 5 million credits. I had 4 million and then I sold cargo after a run and it subtracted multiple times the purchase price and then inverted the sale so I ended up at negative 1 million. So if your the bank, can I take out a loan? 😅
My favourite weapons for cave missions are actually the sniper rifles. Best use of the sniper rifles in-game right now. But they're fun when doing security at JT during events.
I exchange my caterpillar, for a C2 Herc, at a great price too. Finally! Been wanting one for a while. They are huge, but fly like a performance machine.
How about you buy three 890J's, Hammerheads, Carracks, Reclaimers, etc. for each station/spaceport in the game? You'll never have to wait for one ever again! :D
Non Pro Tip: Anything painted yellow is usually climbable, but.... Hitregistry for where you actually are...is the problem. You got it one, Olli, that ledge was also painted yellow. It's one of those weird half-steps that normally you'd expect to not need because of low gravity but.... heh, ledge because it's a half-step to actual grav physics lol!
When I do bunker and cave missons, I prefer the Behring P6-LR sniper rifle mounted with silencer. One shot one kill. That makes it very easy to clean this locations in a short time :) The last days I did over 10 cave missons per day. I guess there are 3-4 different types of these small caves. They look very similar. But the last part of every single cave is build different. If you keep your eyes on the purple light sticks, you will find the way back to your ship without any problems.
even if Olli does not read this. for everyone interested: 2147483647 (the amount of uAEC, Olli has in this video) is exactly ONE uAEC short of a "Full" 31 bit variable. which leads me to believe, that CIG has implemented a 32 bit variable vor money but is using the last bit as a validation bit. 2^31 is 2,147,483,648 (btw. also the Maximum ammount of Money you can get in GTA V Story Mode and for a very Long time in WoW. Because Blizzard and Rockstar both used 32Bit variables for their respective Money System). Just thought someone would find this at least as interesting as I do. FOR SHORT: Olli, this is the absolute maximum of money, that you will ever hold. more is (unless the variable is updated to a 64bit version) technically impossible.
The cave is at the same time a lot deeper than you think and also not as vast. You learn the layout pretty fast once you do the mission a few times and a lot of the fake ways earlier lead nowhere, but the cave can go on quite a bit longer after the last room with enemies. There are areas where you have to crouch or even go prone to get through gaps.
I went a little overboard on ILW. I got the Titan Renegade, Gladius Valiant, Constellation Phoenix, Polaris, Ranger TR, Razor EX, Corsair, Mule, and Vulture. Plus a bunch of paints including ALL the ILW paints.
I just ran the cave mission and it went well but I could not pick up much loot before things broke and just refused to let me move loop items into my empty pack
Olli with 2b auec: *suffering from success meme* When you're doing the bounty missions and killing everyone, take the call to arms mission as well, you'll get a payout for every one of those dudes killed.
It's hilarious to see that you did the exact same thing as me by falling down at the parkour area when I did that mission xD. I also realise after 20 minutes that in order to jump ledges, you need to unequip your weapon lol
I got stuck in this cave and that hole because of the stuck weapon bug (game kept re-equipping primary weapon every time I tried to holster/switch weapon.) Couldn’t climb.
Ended up upgrading my RAFT to a Vulture for $5, mainly did it because I’m trying to work my way up to an Apollo or maybe a Retaliator. Also picked up a Vulture to Retaliator Base for another $10 because the Tally was the ship I loved from the Kickstarter. Also if it actually gets the gold pass they were half way done with it’ll go up in price.
If you don’t like mining, the other fast way to generate aUEC is bounty hunting. Once you’ve maxed out you bounty reputation you can do fast ERT, single ERT is 30k, group ERT is 105k. I have an Eclipse and Retaliator in game.. so if you are fast you can grind 1mil aUEC an hour.
Heyo so I'm thinking on buying star citizen but I want to ask First: Is it really necessary to store the game on an SSD ? I saw comments where people said that its a must have and others said its not really necessary And second: i missed the last free fly and when can i expect it to come back ?
It helps a lot to have a SSD, the game is very detailed and there are many art assets to load. Next free fly will be 3 to 5 months, maybe 2 more but at least 1.
If people keep this up, Hurston Dynamics is going to start making their guards bow to him like they do the Hurstons. (I made this lore up, if they actually do that, that's hilariously perfectly dystopian of them.)
4:20 Can't wait until npc's can lob grenades so people can't just camp the entrance and have them all run into fire like idiots. Also, you need to try these cave missions on a planet with normal gravity. It's a different experience from low gravity. In a fun way.
I'm going to blame you Oli, I've watched nearly all your star citizen videos and all I can think about is playing it. So this morning I bought a new pc so I can experience it for myself. I'm still gonna blame you XD Maybe I'll see you in the game sometime soon. Keep up the good work your content has been really entertaining.
I bought the Mule as a warbond with the Cutlass Black. Good lil packaged deal with LTI. So I am not complaining and I love the Cutlass Black. I can fit both the Mule and the Roc in it so it is a win for me.
Loving your videos, thank you. I’m a newby to SC and wondered what your control set up was? I’m mouse keyboard but thinking I may invest in something better if the game grabs me
The guy you blew up and did a front flip fell into the pit. You didn't kill him, only hurt him and knock him away. He survived and got back up, the counter didn't go down. If the pit wasn't there he totally would have shot you in the back when you were sniping the last couple guys.
I think "M3SA" deserves some of that hard earned cheddar LOL! Hes tired of only using his Mustang Omega : AMD Edition from 2014 :) But man... you're the reason I'm playing this again Ollie, your content is so refreshing. Ive been trying to recruit friends to this game left and right and directing them to your content. Keep up the great work.
im just imagining one day star citizen making a ship that transforms into a mech that can walk around a planet, star citizens very own transformer, maybe even do a power rangers style transformation like 5 ships become one or the power ranger in space version where it was a giant ship and a small ship
I simply bought a cutlass black because I needed a new ship and the price was right. Also im sure there are other comments saying it but assuming your inventory does not glitch out on you you can easily pull 150k-250k worth of gims from that cave mission. There is also two more areas just past what you called the end that you have to crawl to that have more boxs available.
I've done three bunker mission for losing all the loot I collected because I haven't been able to store it safely anywhere, but I still love star citizen... (I think) so that's why I bought a cutlass black, a constellation Taurus and I upgrade my Avenger stalker for a Anvil arrow (+paints). All of this out of invictus Week. 🙃
That last guy in the cave was a guy you didn't quite kill with the grenade launcher right after you got out of the hole. You shot behind him and instead of killing him he just flew and faceplanted in the hole behind you
When you knocked that guy flying with the nade launcher I was thinking to myself "wouldn't it be funny if one of them survived flying past him and then shot him in the back"? I had no idea how close I was.
Found that if you equip a backpack from one of the dead bodies, you cant add or takeaway from that bag, which sucks because i had to leave some gems behind since the 'area is too cluttered' to drop the backpack too, lol
I started playing star citizen two days ago but made a mistake and started in orison which I struggled to get out of the atmosphere and had a low frame rate but when I got out everything got smoother and I’m really enjoying the game so far 😄
I got LTI pack with Cutlass Black and Mule. Also upgraded my Titan to Retaliator during event. Retaliator is the best ship I even used (solo, group ERT done in 5-6 mins and u need team for it only for memes during bounties)
I upgraded my Cutlass Black game package (started as an Aurora MR many years ago) to a Corsair. And also bought an LTI Mule just in case I want to upgrade it later to some other ship.
When you ran out of ammo on the LMG and were using your pistol, you could have just picked up one of the guns on the ground from dead NPCs. They usually have a few bullets left in them.
I just picked this game up last week, and it is awesome. However, I am curious, how does anyone progress with the sheer volume of bugs? Each time I log in and try to do anything, I spend more time trying to figure out the workaround for the bugs than I do actual gameplay. Is this normal for this unfinished game? SOOOO many bugs. It makes me not want to play.
I’m wondering if the games worth it? What do y’all think? I’m thinking about getting it but review say it’s only a handful to do. The loop: mining bounty and trading. And people say it gets pretty boring? Is there things that you can randomly find and be like WOW or really hard parts of the game? Is there a story? I’m really interested and I’m close to buying it but I wanna get my monies worth
Finnaly caved and bought the Vulture, reminds me of the old speedsters in starwars. And btw what do you think about the new "dropship" for vehicles... looks straight out of starwars..
If you put a 4x scope on the Gemini sniper rifle, its great for the entry way of bunkers. I always take a few out first so to not get surrounded or rushed accidentally o7
Every year or so I chip in another $50-$100. I just upgraded to the Polaris this event. The hammerhead is a fun loaner for my friends! Going to be a bit of a jump to the Idris, though. Maybe the Kraken. Haven't decided yet; it's a bit of a game at this point. The longer this stays in alpha, the richer I get in-game.
Question: does this game have controller support? When I get a pc I REALLY want to get this game cause I’m a huge space enthusiast. If not I’ll just have to learn mouse and keyboard

I think "M3SA" deserves some of that hard earned cheddar LOL! Hes tired of only using his Mustang Omega : AMD Edition from 2014 :)
But man... you're the reason I'm playing this again Ollie, your content is so refreshing.
1:28 That is a Vaux (or maybe Focus) module for ship mining lasers. Not sure why it's sitting right there... but that's what it is.
Started playing two weeks ago, and got myself the Cutlass Black (starter ship was the Aurora MR)
Olli, you have to Zero the scope with the Page Up key... you were firing at 60m with the scope set to 0m
That last guy in the cave was a guy you didn't quite kill with the grenade launcher right after you got out of the hole. You shot behind him and instead of killing him he just flew and faceplanted in the hole behind you
Quick note: If you are in the cave and trying to get up look for yellow on the ledge then use the up button while you jump. I love spelunking.
Another nice video my friend - Keep up the good work Olli
When you knocked that guy flying with the nade launcher I was thinking to myself "wouldn't it be funny if one of them survived flying past him and then shot him in the back"?
I had no idea how close I was.
BTW Olli43, your videos encouraged me to get into SC. Thank you. I have def been enjoying it.
wheres this planet? what his name or something im planning to go there
Found that if you equip a backpack from one of the dead bodies, you cant add or takeaway from that bag, which sucks because i had to leave some gems behind since the 'area is too cluttered' to drop the backpack too, lol
I started playing star citizen two days ago but made a mistake and started in orison which I struggled to get out of the atmosphere and had a low frame rate but when I got out everything got smoother and I’m really enjoying the game so far 😄
Brand new to the game…. Played for a day and absolutely loved it so I bought a cutty black aaannnnnddd a Scorpius bc X-wing!
Whale here, picked up a starfarer, nautilus, perseus, liberator, two mules, and a legionaire. :D
Am a new player join the verse because of a few of your videos....keep up the good work.
are you taking " a call to arms" before you do these?
I got LTI pack with Cutlass Black and Mule. Also upgraded my Titan to Retaliator during event. Retaliator is the best ship I even used (solo, group ERT done in 5-6 mins and u need team for it only for memes during bounties)
I upgraded my Cutlass Black game package (started as an Aurora MR many years ago) to a Corsair.
And also bought an LTI Mule just in case I want to upgrade it later to some other ship.
I’m waiting on my pc to arrive to start playing the game really enjoy your content.
God the cockpit of the Scorpius is gorgeously slick! I might have to get it just for that, even though I'm a solo pilot.
When you ran out of ammo on the LMG and were using your pistol, you could have just picked up one of the guns on the ground from dead NPCs. They usually have a few bullets left in them.
You have the exact amount that is the max of a 32bit integer. Is this the current aUEC cap?
What spec is your PC for running this?
If you want bread crumb trails maybe you could try the quick flares.
It makes me not want to play.
do the enemies in SC even have any AI or are they just on a path?
I bought 5 mules, 3 as lti tokens, 1 as a gift for a friend and 1 to keep. Also picked up a vulture and the scorpius.
“Absolutely disgusting how beautiful this game looks”
Lovely this video so much.
Olli have you announced giveaway winners yet?
how often are you forced into pvp int his game? im curious .. is it an every day thing?
Depends mostly on where you are, it's easily avoidable.
I think to solve that problem of them getting too close to you on a scorpius is to close the wings unless they patched that out
Ollie!! Can I take some off your hands!? 😂
Got 300K in one run with this mission- just gotta loot all the bodies (including armor pockets) and boxes for Hadanite
how do you loot armor pockets?
@@danfinger right click on the armor and click open
The close range issue is just with fixed weapons and no turret, right?
That was so perfect. "Got something fo" *BOOM*
Why is your game running so smoothly even when recording. I have a 12th gen i7 and it’s still extremely laggy with all the settings on low.
Got the new bike. It fits in basically the majority of ships and should be fun racing in the canyons
Thanks for the great SC content, keep it coming (and how about some aUEC giveaways for subs eh? Lol)
Over the event, I upgraded my Sabre to a Scorpius, loving it so far
Finnaly caved and bought the Vulture, reminds me of the old speedsters in starwars.
And btw what do you think about the new "dropship" for vehicles... looks straight out of starwars..
Quite the classic Star Citizen ending.
It does but it’s not great sadly
