First time I heard this song I thought the lyrics were a bit cliche and overly soppy. Seeing this immaculate version changes everything. This is distinctly uncomfortable. We are the audience, but what we are witnessing is the most intense declaration of sensual love from one person to another. It's so incredibly personal that I feel like a voyeur who has accidentally overheard something they should not have. It really is great art disguised as a romantic love song. I recommend watching it once to see how she's singing from behind her closed eyes, and then listen to it forever afterward in the headphones, and drift away as you imagine her singing it to YOU. So lovely!
I love the original Faroese version (Silvitni) with Høgni Lisberg doing the backing vocals... next to her unplugged "Rain" the most beautiful songs in the world!! ❤️😍
I wish I could be sitting in such an intimate place and hear Eivor close up as this audience did. What a wonderful take on one of my favorites....and doing it solo without her band makes it even more special Wish you would come to my area of the US Eivor! Come to VERMONT!!! or New Hamshire or New York!!! I want to go see you live!!!

It’s a stunningly good performance. Included is Surrender, played in the same manner but she is accompanied by her incredible backing band. Do yourself a favour! 🇦🇺
