Yeah, Russell, they had not the slightest clue. I am a fan of various artists. But with Eivor, and only Eivor, there is just something beyond mere fandom and even admiration. She consists of a combination of multiple qualities that no other artist is even close to. Her voice alone is incredible. But there is a lot more to Eivor than her voice. She is a true musician and songwriter too. And she is a gifted performer, with a genuine love for her audiences, that you can see and feel. There is something 'good' about Eivor, that I hope she never loses.

Such a great performance! Never thought in million years I’d ever get to see her live. Crazy to see myself in this video. Crazy to see the metro bus passing behind her. At one point she was like “this town makes interesting sounds” because of all the LA traffic. Hahaha! I even got to meet and take a picture with her. She was genuinely shocked that I knew who she was and I’m like “I love you!!” Hahaha! So funny and sweet! Can’t wait to see her again.
I discovered Eivor via an Aurora fan page on facebook, just after our first lockdown began in March 2020, and have been mesmerized by her voice ever since. Once this pandemic is behind us all and it is safe for proper live performances again, I want to see Eivor live too.
And plays the foot drum too… I asked her about it once and she tried to explain it but in the end she just feels what to do and when to do it. And indeed a lot of practise :) She was born to make music 🖤

Wonderful. When I hear her songs, her voice, which is able to climb into ever higher spheres, then I feel far from everything. Carried away to the magic of Iceland, carried away to a land full of mysticism and legends. For a short moment it takes my breath away. Fascinated what humans are capable of.
