When I was in the Navy, my commander kept telling us "if you look good you feel good" well the same thing can be said about your home "when it looks good YOU FEEL GOOD"
I say the same thing. Clutter equals stress, no clutter and home minus kids is not stressful.
So true & thank u4 your service!❤💪💙
It also translates to "If you don't feel good, you have no energy to make you and your space look good."
@@haveyougotyourtowel Very true. The concept is circular, not linear.
Look good ↔️ Feel good
Yes!!
1. Declutter
2. Find a place for everything where you use it
3. Containers
4. Labeling
5. Changing your mindset
As a child I would have never imagined that my favourite day of the week was garbage day.😂😂😂😂 There’s just something about getting the garbage out of my home that makes me feel like it’s a new beginning and it restarts my week for decluttering.
Yes! Monday is recycling day here and thursday is trash day! I have had soo many bags of trash since decluttering. Lol and decluttering helped me get rid of a lot of recyclable stuff too. My garbage bins cannot keep up with this level of decluttering😂😂😂
Me too. Loving trash day now! Thank you Cass!
Hahahaha me too!! I try to always do a like 2 minutes resort of my fridge and throw out the bad food the night before garbage day too so it’s not sitting around outside for long.
omg same
I’m suddenly grateful for having a trash chute right next to my door lol I love throwing trash out
Transformed my home with clutter bug & minimal moms help during this pandemic. I had a family member literally show up at my door & had to stay w me for a few days. Thankfully I developed a habit during these last few months. I could focus on helping them instead of being stressed out or embarrassed about my home. It builds so much confidence feels great.
Good for you!! This was my goal but it never really happened to the extent that I wanted it to. Well I still have a chance?!
I liked as soon as I heard the first sentence! “Organization isn’t about pretty pinterest worthy spaces...” thank you for practical and useful tips!
Yesss 🙂
Cas, that really is true love! My Mom was on a date with a man early in their relationship and he was cooking dinner for her at his apartment. When she used his bathroom, she peeked behind his shower curtain and there was a mound of dirty dishes in his tub! She married him anyway and my Mom and Dad have been married for over 60 years!
I guess when a man or woman truly falls in love with someone and how they make them feel, alot of their bad habits like that aren't very relevant. Lucky people who find that kind of love.
@@memoir02 Love your comment. Exactly what I was thinking. Must be because I’m an Angie too😉
HAHAHAHAHAH I love this story!!
How sweet
@@memoir02 True indeed!!!
I've recently realized that I probably have untreated adhd, and that has changed my mind set a lot. I'm not lazy, I'm just overwhelmed by my own mess.
I was diagnosed with ADHD last year at age 41. It's so revealing when you find out what ADHD really is and that you've gone undiagnosed and untreated for your whole life and have been working against your brain rather than with it and now have to figure out how to work with it and what works. It's overwhelming.
@@gingereiss9099 Just trying to get a diagnosis as an adult is overwhelming. The place I have to go to get tested is not close, and does not take insurance. I was tested by a psychiatrist near me, but that test was too simple to be meant for adults.
@@CirquedJoy where do you live? If a psychiatrist tested you, they should be able to prescribe meds.
Either way, I'm sorry that you're dealing with that. I hope you can get whatever help you need
@@gingereiss9099 The test they gave me said I don't have adhd, but I don't think that test I took was developed with adults in mind, I think It's meant for kids. I am looking for a second opinion from someone who specializes in testing adults.
@@CirquedJoy oh. Gotcha. Yeah it can be difficult when they tend to focus on kid behaviors
The first time I had a boyfriend stay over at my apartment, not only did he clean my kitchen and ceiling fan that I haven’t cleaned in 3 years, he also cooked the best meal I ever had. So yeah, of course I kept him! 14 years together now!
❤️thank you for sharing your story! Made me remember the day I fell in love with my husband!❤️
I would like my son to be this gentleman in the future
Sounds like boyfriend /husband abuse to have to clean after a disgusting mess. Not funny! Luckily for you he helped to get you out io the messy mess. That Hubby deserves your outmost respect and love. 💖💕
My life is changing in every way. You are a big part of my cleaning and organizing
@@lykel3520 men having to clean is abusive? Ok... wow. The brainwashing is strong here... I cry for your daughters.
@@ultravioletpisces3666 I'd feel like shit if my romantic partner had to costantly clean up my messes, regardless of gender... Sure you can help eachother out, but honestly, everyone should be actively trying to fix their own shit instead of leaving it for others
Thanks to Cass, I organized my house 6 years ago. Now I just need to maintain it. Remember, some organization systems will fail and you just need to keep trying.
Ohhhh...yes I need to hear this! I’ve finally Decluttered enough out of my hoarded house to start organizing it now ❤️❤️
I am sooo looking forward to your organizing videos. You go girl!
Yay! Can't wait for those organizing videos!
Well done! Great self care.
It’s been fantastic watching you too. Looking forward to seeing your organising videos. 👏👍
It's one of my favorite youtuber here besides Cass❤️😂
Btw, kindergarten teachers label everything because they’ve lost their minds and can’t remember where anything is. Ask me how I know.
LOL!!! Yes!
Hahahaha!!! 🤣😂🤣
Also, as teachers we can be natural hoarders. We always think I might use this someday.😩
😂😂😂
"They have lost their minds " hahaha this cracked me up.
Love that you have a labeled box called "labels" behind you 😅💯
Joe's definitely a keeper. If the dishes didn't scare him, the iguana should have 🤣
We have been purging for the last three weeks. We’ve gotten rid of SO MANY THINGS that our neighbors literally thought we were moving.
The peace of mind is so much more valuable than the money spent on those possessions we’ve recently let go of.
LABELING IS SUCH A GAME CHANGER!!!!!! ITS SOOO IMPORTANT!!!
Also, one thing that has helped me so much is realizing how important it is for my kids (6 & 7) to SEE me decluttering & organizing. My hope is that when they grow up, they don’t feel this internal struggle I’ve felt for so long!! ♥️
I heartily second that last point - I basically never saw my parents declutter anything, so when my mom told me (when I was in high school/college) I needed to go through my stuff and decide what to keep and what to get rid of, 1) I had no example to follow, and 2) I felt like she was a hypocrite because she was telling me to do things she refused to do herself. Fast forward to over a decade later, and I'm the one who's leading the charge on decluttering, 'cause turns out I'm a cricket and she's a bee (she complains about not having any counter space, yet insists on keeping the counters pretty much completely covered in things that "all have to stay out", and they're not organized at all, so it's just a huge stressful mess, and she forces it on me when she comes to visit at my house, which literally drives me insane yet she claims it's my own fault - I get that she's a visual bug, but she's shooting herself in the foot by refusing to do any decluttering in the kitchen; Cas's rephrased question for decluttering should help her).
I agree totally with the parents being example. I love my mother to bits but she didnt really know any more herself to have the skills when i was a child either. We have both improved sooo much these days but gosh i wish i knew some of these things when I was younger
This is so true, I want my kids to stop seeing me get so frustrated every morning till night about this mess. And labels.... I've been saying that I'm going around after I've organized and labeling literally everything!!!!
💯🙌🏾😆🤣🤣🤣
🚚🚚🚚🚚🤣🤣🤣
That story at the end inspired me. I’m not hiding dishes in the oven but if you can go from that to where you are now, there’s hope for me. Thank you 🤗
Your honesty is so comforting. I wish RUclips and videos like this were around in the 80s. Life could have been so different for my parents and me.
Love ur story at the end... Got chills.. He cleaned it for you?!!! 🥳 That's the one!!
I so appreciate your honesty and embarrassing story. To see where you started and where you are now is inspiring in and of itself! Props!! 🙌🙌🙏🙏❤️❤️👌
Lol I totally used nappy boxes until I found other containers. Honestly I still have stuff in nappy boxes
When I was dating my now husband (we only dated a few months before getting engaged), we were talking one evening about getting married (something we both put a high priority on), and he asked me if there was anything more I wanted to know about him or his situation. Having gotten to know his five motherless kids and having seen the messy way he kept his house (kind of understandable given his situation), I jokingly said that as long as he wasn’t hiding any bodies in the basement (the only part of the house I hadn’t seen yet), I was pretty sure I knew what I was getting into. To my shock, he turned beet red. Turns out, a tenant that had just moved out of the basement apartment had left food trash and attracted rats. My husband had successfully killed the rats, but the bodies hadn’t been disposed of yet and were still in the basement. I laughed so hard, I cried. I still married him - despite the bodies in the basement. Four years in, we’ve cleaned up a lot, and I would still do it all over again.
He's a lucky man & you're a hell of a woman/stepmom!❤
This is rich😅
OMG Your end story brings back so many memories! I was dating my now husband of 35 years and when we living in different cities. He brought his best friend to meet me as a surprise. I told them to give me a half hour because I wasn’t going to let them into my apartment the way it was. I was shoving things everywhere (including dirty pots and pans in the oven!) When they came back they said it couldn’t have been that bad because it was so clean!!!! 😂😂😂🙄😜
.
I call that the "stuff and cram" style of housekeeping. Ha!
Hahaha cleaning at the speed of lightning 🤣 yes know it well... ive only just been able to allow my MIL into the house without a freak out with her drop in visits during the past year bcos of this channel. Phew
The Hubs came in as I was sitting here watching this video on my phone. About two sentences into the description of how messy you used to be, he said, “Honey, I didn’t know you had your own RUclips channel!” 🤦🏻♀️ Yeah, I need that class.
I've been known to hide dirty dishes in the oven and under the sink, picked up that trick from my mom😂 . Glad we've both overcome that bad habit! Thanks Cas, your videos always give me that kick in the butt i need.
Hubs and I are decluttering today, we need to move in about 3 months so getting started early. I feel some ‘trash’ bag therapy coming on
My proudest moment when I was decluttering my kitchen came when I reached the "Zero Objects Stored in the Oven" stage.
Oh. My. Goodness. You found a very good guy! My mouth fell open when you said he washed all those dishes!
I LOVED when you said " it doesn't need to PIntrest organized. It just needs to be living organized" This rang down into my core. I have been saying this every time I would start to hunt on ideas of how to get my home more organized!
I really appreciate you sharing this story. When I was a young professional living alone a friend of mine stopped over at my place unannounced. I will never forget her face of disgust/surprise/horror when she stepped into a living room that was so covered with clutter that you couldn't actually walk in. Thank you for helping me organize and keep organized my home!
Tbh, I do need things to look Pinterest worthy because I’m motivated by making things look beautiful. When the room looks beautiful and something is out of place, I would put it right without even thinking about it.
I found your channel just in time. I had been married for three years, had two kids a fulltime job, we were broke and my house was a DISASTER! My anxiety was through the roof. (Also both of our mothers stopped by whenever they wanted without unannounced. Toxic. ). the weekend I would have to use my large dust push broom to make a large pile in the center of my living room/dinning room. I was searching for help online and came across Alejandra Castello. I was so impressed and excited to get started and quickly felt that I would never have a manageable, beautifully organized home like hers. After a while I came across your channel! The fact that you were using cardboard diaper boxes and shopping at the dollar tree was right up my alley. I felt as though you were meeting me where I was in life. Thank you so much. ♡♡
Oh my gosh yes, diaper boxes! I still use one from when my son was a baby as a box to store Christmas decorations. My son will be 20 in Feb!!!
“And he married me anyway” what a beautiful story!
I am a recovering hoarder (raised by hoarders) and I still check my oven every time I turn it on because I melted sooooo many things previously.
I met my husband about a year after I started with “I am a person who is not a hoarder” mindset slowly chipping away at what I had accumulated. He did my dishes pretty much every time he visited me. And he married me anyway.
Thanks for sharing all that you share!
The story at the end of this video may be my favorite one so far. Just when I think you have shared all your best memories, you share another great one. Thanks for continuing to help us get organized and have a good laugh in the process!
Wow so Joe is the spark to your business. You are blessed. I thank God for you
I literally take notes on my phone when watching your videos.
Me too! Or I'll forget them.
I write the notes in several different notebook.... depending which room I am in. And if I don't have a notebook handing; I take a photo of these comments. Than I will write it later in a notebook.
Thank you for all of the tips. I deserve to have a clean home. 🏠
Love your story time. Your lucky he did not run away from you. He is so sweet.
Right! I went on a date once, I drove to his apartment and when I was welcomed in he said "I'm not quite ready, you can clean my apartment while you wait." He disappeared into the bathroom, I disappeared out the front door. LOL!
You are a decluttering rockstar!
I have a small home and figuring out that containing my stuff makes it easier to use has been a huge plus in keeping me organized. I'm a ladybug with some cricket tendencies. Baskets have helped so much. They aren't pretty at my house, just doing their job.
Same!! We moved from 1500 sf to 964 sf a year ago. I’m almost done with my clutter and the process has subconsciously inspired my hubs to get rid of stuff.
He washed your dirty dish stash? 😯
AND cleaned your fridge?
😯😯😯😯
Man, that's some true love, right there! ❤❤❤❤🥰
Wow, I'm stunned...and impressed.😎👍🏻
I love you for sharing your real stories about never washing dishes. You aren’t alone.. How many of us have bought new underwear cause we didn’t have any clean laundry??
Congrats on finding a real "keeper". I think men like that are extremely rare! Thanks for the tips. Happy New Year!
Shelly
I've gotten so many good tips and inspiration from you but teaching me what kind of "clutter bug" I am was the most valuable. As a "ladybug" I now know what kind of organizing methods work for me and what will only fail and frustrate me. I encourage everyone to watch the videos that will help you figure out which "bug" you are. Thanks Cass..you're AWESOME!!
What a beautiful family! Thanks for sharing that part of you :))
OMG this is awesome - My friend just told me about your channel, I think I'm hooked! Love the story at the end, I can relate. My then-boyfriend-now-husband was so gracious about my disastrous apartment (when I told myself finding a job after being laid off was more important than a tidy home...and beyond). Him and my sister both helped me conquer the chaos before we got married (thank you to them both!), but I still have progress to make. It's ironic that I can create such a mess in personal physical places (at home or my work desk), but when it comes to work tasks, everyone says I'm so organized. I also seem to be better at helping others tidy up their spaces rather than my own. Anyone else relate? Anyway, I love this, thank you!
I relate. I'm super organized at work and in most of the house. As soon as it's my corner though it becomes a disaster very quickly because "I'll need that really soon" so I wouldn't put stuff away
Inventory in your house is inventory in your brain. SO TRUE!!!
Oh I love your "glad you stayed til the end"!! I hate doing dishes!! So I've come up with a plan...I'm giving myself 2 plates, 4 bowls, 2 cups, 2 mugs, and 2 each eating utensils. The rest is going in the upper cupboard that is useless. I'm keeping them for when my kids come to eat on occasion.
And doing something similar with the cooking and baking tools 😉. Plus my clothes, doing the same concept. All of this after decluttering!!
I do, too! I've gotten to the point where, in order to keep my sanity, I've gone down to one of each utensil/dish and always wash them after every meal. I keep a handful of extras for when I have company, but except during that time, it stays in the high cupboard, too.
That is why i have a dishwasher 🙂
@@jacquelinebryant6056 I have one, too, but I use one, maybe two, dishes per meal (and I usually use the same dish because I only have one of it and I use it for most things I eat), and one, maybe two, pieces of silverware. So it's not worth it, based on that, for me to use the dishwasher. And unloading a full dishwasher has always been extremely overwhelming for me unless I have someone else who can help me.
Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing your stories of stuffing dirty dishes in cabinets. I do all these things. I walk into my house and it stinks. Your stories give me hope and motivation to get it decluttered and clean daily.
I love your stories! I used to think that using containers would take up too much space to be of any help. Only when I started decluttering did I realize that containers are a wonderful way to control inventory!! I know my family appreciates the decluttering and organization because they are putting things away like never before!!! Thanks for your help!!
Thank you so much for this video! I have bins on bins of empty bins. I am 38 and feel like a JR hoarder. Remember that show Clean House with Niece Nash? One room pulled into the yard looks like 3 rooms? I am a clutter bug and so so glad i recently found your page. You super inspire me!!! 5 mins matter! Thank you again! Manifesting a better version of myself, the version i always wanted to be but never took steps.
I had roommates who were like your pre-organized days. Two of us were tidy and two were the "hide the dirty dishes" sort. It just goes to show that you can learn and grow and change...thanks for sharing your stories and tips!
I honestly can’t come up with words that would tell you truthfully how much I appreciate you and ur family for sharing you with us. I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety in 2013. I am not technically smart so one day I was sitting on the couch with my kids and they wanted to show me something called RUclips. Well they r young but r trying to help me so they punch in organization because they knew that was one of my favorite things to do and that’s when they found You!. Ty Cass. I’m not doing anything yet because I just can’t move. Embarrassed to say. It’s me and my 5 kids in a very tiny house. Our family home was taken from us and I had a complete breakdown due to that and being married to a narcissist. I never even heard of that word before. I can’t get moving but all I do is keep playing this one video over and over and over. The one about Joe staying over. Lol please Cass would you consider including me and my children in ur prayers and also pl my little guy with Down syndrome. He was born with 3 holes in his heart fluid on his brain and a spinal cord. You probably get this a lot but I am going to say it anyway... I thank God for you. Sincerely with sisterly love, Linda from Pa.
I will pray for you! God bless
Love your stories at the end! He stayed bc you are awesome ❤️
'The other closet has a six foot iguana in it' I actually cried laughing. I love your stories Cass. Thank you for inspiring us.
Growing up, I picked up a lot of bad habits from my mom who was a single parent who worked her butt off outside of the home to take care of me! Today, because of people like you, I now have an organized, clean home, and the skills and confidence to keep it that way! (Yes, mom hid dirty dishes in the oven and I melted quite a few! LOL!)
I'm 70 and getting to the end of my organizing, finally. My 40 y o son married a gal like mom now their house is off limits due to clutter. I pray for them.
@@MKCarol-ms7lg IF you are a recovering clutterbug, share and *teach* her. Turn her on to this channel & show her what you've learned. Don't leave her and your son to struggle on their own.
@@nodoboho Great idea. I will do that.
The full trash bag is the best advice ever. It will keep you declutter down and neat and tidy without you even noticing you been working. It helps with procrastination too.
6 ft iguana lol, I'm dying
Also, the concept of earning it's space in the house was a punch in the gut
Wondering what the iguana did to earn his space. LOL
Omg your story at the end I can definitely relate to! I hate doing dishes and I'm not sure why...
Loved this! Labeling is definitely one of my favorite things to do for organization; even in the pantry! It saves me so much time putting things away and helps my children memorize where things go as well!
Lol!! I used to be a stuffer. Sometimes still a stuffer lol but getting better.
I followed you sometime in 2013 when I had my first baby and I was living with my parents renting one bedroom. Your videos helped me fit everything in one room! Now I have my own apartment and I feel the need to come back to your videos because my apartment is just… a MESS. 😿 I also need help because with a new born I feel like I always start to declutter one area and can’t finish before starting another area…
😂😂the story. Wow. I use to be super messy because I got together with my then boyfriend super young. I never learned how to be organized or tidy, until recently. He's stuck it out with me throughout all the clutter and dirty laundry. LOL
I am only 1:57 into the video and THUMBS UP!! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and sweet spirit with us all! PROUD subscriber!!
OMG HE IS A KEEPER !! 🤣🤣🤣 TRUE LOVE , thats cool he Helped !! What a blessing!!❤
Cass, I’m moving to a smaller house, with more people. This is what I needed. Thanks.
I like that positive self talk! Very healthy 😍
Hahaha!! "And he married me anyway" :-D Thank you for the laugh! That was funny.
Bahahaha! You have just described my apartment when I met my husband. His aunt told him to stay away from me when she heard about it. 😆 And the oven story! Me, too! Although I only did it once. After that, my dirty dishes go to the laundry room when company is coming. 🤪
Yes! The diaper boxes and Amazon boxes are awesome to use. When I was younger I did this and even hot glued fabric I had laying around on the boxes to make them look cuter 🙂
It makes me feel relieved that I’m not the only one that has struggled with avoiding dishes and would hide them
Thank you for being so honest & sharing that story! Very cool. Gives me hope ☺️🕊
LOVE your stories at the end!! Not only are they a great way to get to know you more, but I feel so much reliability, and you usually make me LAUGH~! Love you so, so, so, much!!
That ending story will go into the vault as one of my favorites from you Cas. Love it, love it love it! ❤️❤️❤️
Awwww Joe! So sweet
The smaller your house the more organized and tidy you need to be lol. My advice to those who struggle to stay tidy and keep things in place, would be to downsize your house 🤣🤣
but then I see all these organized spaces like closets and pantries and I don't have anywhere to do that!
22 ft RV van 🚐easier to keep clean and orderly than the 3 bdrm condo. In fact 22 ft RV easier than the 26ft Class C we had before
Those I know who bought big homes said that was number two regret.
I found the opposite to be true. My husband and I and later, our son, lived in a 470 square foot mobile home and I never could put everything away. When we finished building a 2300 square foot home, we, and our new daughter had places for everything. It was wonderful!. Forty years later, I’ve built a 950 square foot apartment on the house and moved into that. No sewing room, closets too small for clothes needed for a climate with 4 separate seasons, tools, bicycle, furniture from the house…. All this happened right after major back surgery, the death of my son, and renovating the apartment after the last renter left. This year I lost over 50 pounds and I’m getting rid of clothes that are too big and will never fit me again. I feel that if only I can get everything organized once, I can keep it that way, but I never seem to be able to complete the job. I am getting closer every year.
If your husband ever comes into a video you have to have him tell us THIS story!!!!! This is kinda like me and my hubby. I’m a slob and come from a family of slobs while he came from a pristine clutter free and clean home 😆 He still loves me 🥰
I just discovered your channel. I love your personality and honesty! Blessings ❤️🙏🏼
Lol. Ah, cute story about Joe. May your bond of love and friendship only grow more!
Ok, I subscribed and turned on notifications because of how much I can relate to that story at the end. You seem so relatable now. Somehow I had missed that you were a recovering slob. So inspiring!
I have to be honest I used to watch all your videos but stopped because the way you spoke was sooo over the top. I’ve just stumbled back onto this video and am pleased to say I have subscribed back again. Your voice and demeanour is way softer and you’re a pleasure to watch! X
'" ... 'The other closet has a six foot iguana in it.' And he married me anyways." That's both an aaaaawww and a haaaaaaa!
now I want to hear the iguana story and how the heck it ended up in that closet :D
@@adelest9500 probably to hide it from Joe 😂
I rewinded that twice to make sure I heard that 😆 How? What? 😆
🤣🤣🤣🤣 that was amazing right!
How do you fit a 6 for iguana in an apartment? Or even a house? 6ft!?!
If I had a laundry room like that, my life would be in order too. Lol thank you for the dirty dish story. I have dirty dishes on the back porch and in containers for over a year. That would have been amazing to wake up to and he stayed? Awesome.
Easy to say that, but you obviously didn’t watch the video showing the process of getting that laundry room in order. It usually isn’t about how much space we have, but how well we work within our boundaries.
@@username00009 jfc, really? Lol
Thanks Cass..You have taught me alot...and I changed my mind set...I have learned so much from you over the past few years about organization...letting go of things...and keeping a more tidy home! My moma always taught us..""There is a thing for every place, and a place for everything""...so that was the basis of how my sisters and I lived as young children into our adult life....I went away from most of that when I started having kids..then it was all about them...and things got so out of hand and unorgainzed and a total hot mess even after they grew up and got married...etc...But you have brought back my momas lessons and yes..""There is a thing for every place, and a place for everything!""....knowing where I can find things through out my house is so much easier...and knowing I can go in a room and be ok with how it looks..and things are put away! :D Thanks again!!
Lol I melt a salad spinner in the oven! My friends and I still 😂 about it
I received your declutter challenge book for Christmas and read it in one day! It motivated me to get rid of so much!
Finally someone that knows putting things away keeps you space clean. Plenty declutter and then the next video their houses are out of control. These women need you. Thanks.
Cass, I love your style of organization!
I am fortunate to have a husband like that, too, and I love him because he is good to others as well. Love a man with dishpan hands!
Your weight loss is inspiring as well.🌺
I love the slob story at the end. Super cute! Inspirational.
I love your romantic story! Definitely a keeper! And yes, self talk is the key, what would an organized person do?
I love the story about your husband. Definitely a keeper after washing those dishes for you! 😍
Love the "trash bag therapy" theory!
The end story is hilarious! True love!!!
I was hiding dishes under the sink when my husband and I were dating, and I was so embarrassed when he saw them! But he washed my dishes too hahaha
OMG I did (sometimes still do) some of the things you talked about at the end. But I am fighting tooth and nail to get back where I was. Downloaded and printed a lot of your printables!! Definitely will never be a minimalist though Dawn has great tips but I love decor and crafting! So following you closely and pushing forward to win the battle!
Is it Not so BEAUTIFUL that he LOVE You. Truly tryed to help you and even then he did tryed to change you because he couldn't. When birthing the change it came out of You. Then you started the Journey that took you to where you are Today.
I have always been just between, being extremely clean and having a mess. Everything clean because when you come into my homes and look under the surface one can see it clean and smells clean. You pick-up a piece of laundry and it smells clean. The Clutter of paper, clothes, toys, and other chronic overflow of stuff keeps me in a mess 😳. I was raised to feel guilty if, I got rid of a toothpick. I have a problem throwing away paperwork of any kind 😕. I have written so much but now I am going to erase it most of it.
Thank you for Sharing this Beautiful Story. You bring so much Joy. Now we know why you are Not afraid of "big mess"/ you elf Story 😉💙. You know how to clean it up.
Thank you Cass for sharing. I can use this kind of motivation! I have piles of stuff that I need to sort thru in every room!
So glad you are honest. This is what I need. I am not perfect by birth but I want to get better. And i have slowly.
Love the story. My husband married me, knowing I was a messy, but spent 20 years grouchy because I couldn't keep up with his standards. Now I'm divorced, single, and loving my beautiful organised clutter free home. Thanks Cass❤️.
Congratulations!!
God bless you for sharing your embarrassing story. So many people close to me have said I am a hopeless hot mess. You keep giving me hope! 💜
Your not hopeless if you just keep trying. A successful journey starts with one step.
