- This video will walk you through the process of replacing the front axle bearing on a 2006 Yamaha Grizzly 660. This process will be the same for the 03-11 Grizzly 550, 660, and 700 models. This is a 2 part video. Part 1 shows installation for the rear and Part 2 shows installations on the front.

Great video! This is the next thing i need to do for my Yamaha Grizzly 550. Thank you for sharing!
I can appreciate the truth to the struggles of this video! There's always difficulty in conducting repairs on anything. Thanks for the information, and a "true to life vidyo!"
Really great video.
Very nicely done!! Thanks for a very informative video!
Thanks!
Does a 2004 have the single bearings in the front or the double.i ordered the singles and hope they work?i haven't taken it apart yet
I saw another video on a grizzly where ther was a lip and a spacer in the center of those 2 bearings ?
There is a lip on the backside of the knuckle that prevents the bearing from pulling out the backside when it's being driven. I have never heard of a spacer being used with bearings.
I just replaced my front wheel bearings on my 2002 grizzly. It does have a spacer between the two bearings. The bearings have to be knocked out individually one from the top side and the other from the bottom. I put the new bearings in the freezer for a couple of hours and heated up the knuckle. It worked out great. If I can do it anyone can. Hope this helps.
What is the best brand of cv axle for yamaha grizzly 660 year 2006?
Yeah... I'd like to know also ...
I used the moose brand on my 2002 grizzly
What is the size of that socket
