There should be an plot-line where Ash starts having these visions in his sleep, like he was having when they found out Greninja and Ash could fuse. Ash worries Greninja is trying to fuse (remember Greninja didn’t fuse unless the event was pudhing him to his limit), and they go back to Kalos for a couple of episodes, they eventually meet Squishy and that leads to Ash’s emotional reunion with Greninja, turns out Yveltal has awakened and Xerneas is in hiding (or slumbered), so it’s up to Squishy and Greninja to stop Yveltal. Or something like that I could right episodes all day. It’s really not that hard for me to brainstorm these things
While I don't see this being Ash's last journey, I do see them doing a soft reset for Ash. What I can see happening, is Serena making a come back even for 4 or 5 episodes, Dawn to return for about 5 episodes, Clemont and Bonnie could return in conjunction with Serena. As for Rivals, we could see Paul and Alain make come back, as well as seeing Tobias make a return. I can see some elite 4 members making a comeback and the champions make a return. There are a lot of possibilities, I can see a level of fan service in this series (not the Fairy Tail type)

Had it been Misty May Dawn or Iris their intention would be to cheer up Ash. Besides Serena never knew Ash's past and instantly tried to make him her boyfriend. For someone travelling with Ash Serena should have known must have had a crush on his past long journey, because most of his companions had a hint or reference to Misty........Moreover I personally support *Pokeshipping* *Advanceshipping* and *Pearlshipping*....*Pokeshipping* is my first opinion
It would be nice to sees some of Ash's old friends like Misty, Brock, Tracey, May, Max, Dawn, Iris, Cilan, Serena, Clemont, Bonnie, Mallow, Lana, Sophocles, Kiawe and Lillies again in future of Pokemon Journeys , plus I'm more interested to see some of their Pokemon had evolved from the screen off like Misty's Horsea, May's Skitty and Wartortle, Dawn's Piplup, Buneary and Quilava, Iris's Axew and Gible, Serena's Braxien and Panchum, Clemont's Bunnelby and Chespin, Lana's Eevee (Sandy) and Lillies Alola Vulpix (Snowy). But not just Ash's old friends but his old Pokemon from Professor Oak's Lab need to return too like, Bayleaf, Quilava, Totodile, Corphish, Gible, Buziel, Snivy, Pignite, Oshawott, Scraggy, Boldore and Palpitoad the reason why I picked those Pokemon because they're the only ones from the previous series that never got a chance to evolve so they deserve to be return to the series and get that chance to evolve fully🤞

Would be cool to see Serena ,Iris and Gary ,but all of them should return Serena :Cool character from X&Y ,Has a long relationship with protagonist and could have a cool battle to end what happens. Iris : Was protective of Ash even though she was weak ,and could have a cool battle to show how shes evolved. He tries to always annoy Ash and make him feel jealous. He also has not returned ,adding too mystery of his strength and what his tatic will be. I really wanna see Dawn and Serena back, those two are my favorites for sure. I think other than those two I really need to see Ash defeat Alain, it’s probably the one defeat that has never sat well with me lol.

Exactly she looks so cute and beautiful originally but in that artstyle (journeys artstyle) ik it's fan art but hopefully the animators make her look just as good in journeys as in XY
I don't mind any of these characters returning in the anime, but two of the most characters I want are Clement and Bonnie. They played a huge role in XY and XYZ and for them to come back, even for a few episodes, would bring a bit more into the anime In my opinion. They both were underrated within the time the anime was popular and still are. I don't have too many good reasons on why I want to see them, but really, I would do anything to have them return to this anime.
Characters I want to return! Ones that a lot of people remember: Prof. Sycamore, Alain, Tobias One that barely anybody knows: Monsieur Pierre (which would mean Serena would have to return)

I hope they bring back pretty much every companion and most of the pokemon for at least one episode. They should make multiple episode arcs with them to have a goal. Unlike currently they are just going place to place with little meaning unless they have a battle or ash catches a pokemon.. I would love to serena come back and stay but she was given so much development it would be really hard to not just ruin her character. Amourshipper forever next season make ash serious again and his look mature and have them go together pls.

Dawn definitely should come back, Tobias would be a cool person to bring back but Paul above all should make a comeback. Speaking of comebacks, there are two characters that need to DEBUT; Hilbert and Hilda.

One reason I could see them bringing back a companion like Dawn would be for them to give Goh or Chloe or even Ash some advice about their own journeys or to remind Ash of previous events to bring him back to his roots. Dawn actually gave Iris advice in Black and White when she was having problems with Dragonite. Dawn told her about her own journey and how her relationship with Mamoswine was a lot like Iris's with Dragonite. Also with insight from Cynthia, Iris took this advice and was able to get closer with Dragonite over time. So it definitely could work in that format. It's also always interesting to see those old characters in new settings. Also considering the fact that the anime style for the show has changed a bit since we've seen some of the characters, it would be nice to revisit them in the new style and just see how they're doing.

Small theory but, when it comes to the Master Class Trainers, we have one left over. We know there are 8 in total with 3 known (Leon, Lance, and Raihan), and it's assumed the other Champions are apart of it (Steven, Cynthia, Alder, and Diantha). That leaves one more, so my theory is that the 8th Master Class Trainer will be a returning character, potentially Alain. This seems like the season where Ash will finally become a proper Champion Level Trainer, so it's not unreasonable one of his past rivals will reach the same heights (Alternatively, I think Paul would be a good option for a surprise Master Class but I don't think that's likely).
Additionally, they specifically note that Raihan is Ranked 7 (As opposed to Lance Ranked 2 and Leon Ranked 1), could that Rank 8 person that Ash has to beat in order to enter Master Class be someone he personally knows?
The best thing would be that Serena comes back and has Greninja with her in his pokeball that she asked from professor Oak. But this is just my opinion...

The sad thing is, I’ve watched pokemon always with dub, and just started watching Pokemon journeys, it’s a godly series, and I watched all the 12 episodes in one day, and I can’t find anymore English dub episodes, and just don’t wanna watch English dub, as it looks weird to me, if you can find any more English dub episodes please reply to this, I’ve kinda decided I’ll have to wait for all the episodes to release, but I’ll probably find spoilers by then. :(

I don't mind any of these characters returning in the anime, but two of the most characters I want are Clement and Bonnie. They played a huge role in XY and XYZ and for them to come back, even for a few episodes, would bring a bit more into the anime In my opinion.
They both were underrated within the time the anime was popular and still are. I don't have too many good reasons on why I want to see them, but really, I would do anything to have them return to this anime.

I hope they bring back pretty much every companion and most of the pokemon for at least one episode. They should make multiple episode arcs with them to have a goal. Unlike currently they are just going place to place with little meaning unless they have a battle or ash catches a pokemon.. One reason I could see them bringing back a companion like Dawn would be for them to give Goh or Chloe or even Ash some advice about their own journeys or to remind Ash of previous events to bring him back to his roots. Dawn actually gave Iris advice in Black and White when she was having problems with Dragonite. Dawn told her about her own journey and how her relationship with Mamoswine was a lot like Iris's with Dragonite. Also with insight from Cynthia, Iris took this advice and was able to get closer with Dragonite over time. So it definitely could work in that format. It's also always interesting to see those old characters in new settings. Also considering the fact that the anime style for the show has changed a bit since we've seen some of the characters, it would be nice to revisit them in the new style and just see how they're doing.

Small theory but, when it comes to the Master Class Trainers, we have one left over. We know there are 8 in total with 3 known (Leon, Lance, and Raihan), and it's assumed the other Champions are apart of it (Steven, Cynthia, Alder, and Diantha). That leaves one more, so my theory is that the 8th Master Class Trainer will be a returning character, potentially Alain. This seems like the season where Ash will finally become a proper Champion Level Trainer, so it's not unreasonable one of his past rivals will reach the same heights (Alternatively, I think Paul would be a good option for a surprise Master Class but I don't think that's likely).
Additionally, they specifically note that Raihan is Ranked 7 (As opposed to Lance Ranked 2 and Leon Ranked 1), could that Rank 8 person that Ash has to beat in order to enter Master Class be someone he personally knows?
