I am delighted. Tommye and I share so many aesthetic values while, at the same time, working in such different mediums. It was a joy to share this show with her.
I really enjoyed this Dianne! Such beautiful works by both of you discussed in a wonderful commentary of what it is to be Art Makers ( Love that) You should start Podcast that does more than featuring some Artist as a part of a marketing agenda. You would Rock!
So glad you enjoyed this, Gerald. My goodness, where would I carve out the time for a Podcast? But thanks for the confidence. That would be a lot of fun.
Art Making!, lovely conversation, thank you for sharing. Sketching is what came to my mind while I was listening to y'all in the first part. Where is this? I must have missed that.
Oh no. I do about two-thirds of a painting during the first session, but then live with it and work in shorter sessions until it's done. Many times a watercolor will be done alla prima, but hardly ever an oil or pastel.
Beautiful work! Love it. Thank you for sharing both of your pieces.
Thanks for watching. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
You all are creativity cultivating Zen . 🙏 Much Respect. Thanks
Yep. And thanks.
It's interesting to hear such rich content.... especially in this times of mediocre videos. Felt very satisfied

Freedom to create is excellent book...I'm learning so much..thank you Dianne
Thanks for that plug.
This is a fascinating conversation. Beautiful work by you both. So interesting to hear about the “process” each of you uses.
Thanks. Isn't it interesting how our processes are so similar even though we work in totally different media.
I love the depth of adult and childlikeness curiosity combination is the essence of Dianne mize.,...great art maker
Wow! Thanks for that!
Tommy... excellent work.... shadows of the leaves in tapestry 😳 unbelievable
Tommye says "thanks".

Fibonnaci. Wikipedia gives a good explanation at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fibonacci_number
Dianne....do you always do alla prima?

@@IntheStudioArtInstruction why not in oils? There are some renowned artists who do alla prima only. Can you do a video on alla prima please
