We LOVE game night in my family! I'm so excited that for this week's video, I've teamed up with my Dessert Network friends for a fun "Game Night" collab! We've all picked a different game to inspire our videos. I've chosen to make a Settlers of Catan Cake! It's a fun strategy game and the board consists of interesting hex pieces. I've always thought it would make a great cake!

I like your catan cake. I am planning to make a similar one. What was the size of the hexagon cutter that you use for the land pieces? You have 19 pieces, but I am not sure what size to use. Also, What flavored icing did you use for decorating different land pieces.

Hi! The cutter I used was 1.5" (3.81cm). I used royal icing for the land pieces, just flavored with vanilla.

Love the video, a pop filter might make the sound easier to listen to, but I could already watch your videos for days on end as it is!

Thanks! I had audio equipment issues with this one :( I'm working on a new set up and haven't quite figured it out... ended up having to use headphones to do a voice over! So sorry!!!
