Apple Cider Donuts are one of my favorite fall treats. When NewAir sent me this Magic Chef Digital Air Fryer to try I knew it would be the perfect way to make these donuts without the oily mess! The rich apple cider taste and spices make these donuts the perfect treat with an afternoon cup of tea (or coffee!).

I've been on the search for apple cider vinegar donuts in the air fryer. Thank you!

Oooo. So many variations. I think some ginger would make for a nice variation.Or you could roll it out. Sprinkle cinnamon on top then roll it up and cut to make cinnamon rolls. The glaze on top would be nice. Also I think you could do two bartches at once if you got some sort of wire tray.

If I don't have any wheat flour, what amount of all purpose flour should I use?

You can substitute the same amount of all purpose flour... the donuts may just be a bit softer in texture

Can this be bake in a donut tin in the oven?

While not necessarily recommended, you can bake them in the oven. You don't need the donut tin because the dough holds it's shape pretty well... You may want to flip them halfway through baking and they will probably take longer than in the air fryer. Most oven-baked donuts have a thinner batter, requiring a donut tin. A thicker dough like this one is better suited for frying in oil or in the air fryer. In the oven they will likely be more dense (someone like a biscuit), but still taste amazing! The finished product should have a muffin-like texture. If you don't want to fry in oil and don't have an air fryer... I would still make them in the oven!!
