Great, Mel Collins on sax. And main keyboard player in this live performance is Ton Scherpenzeel, in the Netherlands famous as composer and keyboardist of the band Kayak.

You should do the whole of the snow goose STUDIO album.

Hello Claire, I am a big big Camel fan since I first saw them live in London prior to the release of Mirage, their 2nd album. Super Twister from that album is totally Flutifull. I do have different cd/dvd versions of the Snowgoose. Sax was not part of the original version, but just branching out diversifying their musical style in the 80s. Thanks for your reaction, there is a whole lot more in the Camelogue trek. 😎💙🇬🇧🐫🐪🐪🐫👍

Prog rock pioneers, Camel !! Still sounding fresh after all these years.

Camel's music, it would seem, ages like fine wine... or maybe like a well-aged prog rock riff! Thanks Bill! 😄🙏

As you've already noticed, Andrew Latimer's main instrument is the guitar, and he plays *some* flute, so you may not see any kind of virtuoso flute playing in Camel.
That being said they do have a few tunes over the years where the flute is playing the (simple) theme or is part of the orchestration.
A few examples are Changing Places (a bit more soloing, possibly by a guest flautist), Landscapes, Starlight Ride, Air Born, Song Within A Song, etc.
The Harbour of Tears album is based on an Irish theme and includes different flutes along the album.

Hi Claire. John from Aldbrough here. I'm originaly from Weybridge Surrey so went to may concerts at Hammersmith Odeon. Sadly called lots of other names now. It will always be Hammersmih Odeon to me. Saw Everly Brothers, Dire Straits and many more there. Thanks perhaps we will meet some day. Take care. John.x
