The title track from Jethro Tull's 1977 album which was released as a single in the same year in New Zealand, Songs from the Wood was written by Ian Anderson after being inspired by elements of folklore, fantasy tales and traditions of the British rural environment. When asked about the song in 2015, Anderson said, "It’s decorative folk rock. It openly extols the virtues of the countryside, and the values you want to impart through this to other people. I suppose it is country rock, but in the British sense. It’s all delivered with a fair amount of hefty music. There are big guitar riffs and a lot of flute as well. And it does get a little angry, but with a purpose."
This was voted to be made fully flutifull following a suggestion by Flutifull club members and a subsequent RUclips poll and boy, was it a challenge to recreate!

If you wanna hear some good flute check out a band called "Attic of Love" a song called, "Bridge of Lost Desire", Great band inspired by Jethro Tull. They should be really famous , but for some reason they aren't. But if you like Jethro Tull, you will love them.

I can't believe you are a flautist especially considering you are reacting to 'Prog' flautists and you have no Didier Malherbe' on your channel. You really need to check him out. Was the original flautist and saxophonist... well, wood wind player... well he could blow anything! in a band called Gong. His flute solo's are usually called 'Flute Salad' but any time he plays the flute he's amazing. Also went by the name Bloomdido Bad De grasse while in Gong.
