i feel Camel's "The Snow Goose" album is by far the best musical interpretation of any Novel ever! like example, to me, 2:27 clearly interprets (musically) the Arrival of Rhayader into the town and the glimmer of the town depicted through the music... Such awesome Piece of Art this whole album is.. especially if one has read The Snow Goose.

I was there the night before, May 10. Pete Bardens was in the audience. I still have the ticket stub. Cost me 5 quid. I'd pay much more to see Camel one more time.

Its crazy this track was released in 1975...from pure prog to as much jazz/funk as you like ...sounds incredible today and perfectly showcases the genius of Andy, Pete et al..Thanks for posting
Just when I think I've found the best rendition of this song, I find one that tops it.
So, a lump of old wood, add a few bits of wire, then add pure artistic skill. Result? Emotion-packed music of a kind that will transport the listener to a different world, where talent reigns supreme. Magical, ethereal experiences whenever they play.

Je crois que ce monde est fini..IL ne reconnais même plus les belles choses.
I like it, but I wish you could get to hear all of Latimer's solo. It kinda got pushed out and shortened with the sax solo.
