  • I think this product combination of the Samsung HW-M450 soundbar and the SWA-8500S Wireless Rear Speakers Kit is a really nice choice if you want to up your home entertainment game just a little without sacrificing a “home cinema budget” in the thousands. You can also go a little cheaper on your soundbar, but personally, I found this to be a great mix of affordable components and audio quality.
This Samsung soundbar and rear speaker solution augments the sound of your TV a lot in my opinion. You can hear a lot more of the frequency range than only with the inbuilt TV speakers. It works fine for any kind of TV shows and movies, but you can get more sound quality if you’re playing music (comfortably played back from your smartphone via Bluetooth), watch a movie, or play video games. Overall, you get a lot more sound in your room, and it’s not only filling quite well but also gives an excellent quality boost in comparison to the average TV sound. It goes without saying that the output quality depends on the quality of the media you are playing. Poorly decoded mp3 files will not give you the same experience as the sound that was mixed on a Blu-ray disc for example. Read our full review by visiting the link below...

Do you know if the swa-9000s will also work with the hw-m450 as I have this soundbar and want the rear speakers but there is no where available to buy the swa-8500s

Do they really work as a 5.1 kit or they just support the front speakers? I mean, are they real independent channels from the front ones?

Yes, we still have them installed. They depend on the input but if you connect a 5.1 source, the speakers will be working as separate units.

@@TechAcute Thank you for the quick answer. I do have a HW R550 as a front and the TV is a 65NU8000. Would a HDMI ARC connection be appropriate?

@@TechAcute okay, I got the similar model, m430(the only difference is no HDMI) with these speakers and turned on Dolby digital for both my Xbox and Samsung tv, but I still hear the sound from all sources in 5.1 tests. I’m I doing sth wrong?

I have a question....i‘m interested in this product and i wonder if the waranty card was invlusive. Pls a quick answer....

Yes there is a warranty included when you buy but it's also good to keep the invoice for reference to the purchasing date. It might also be that you need to register it with the manufacturer with the serial number. We got it from Amazon which works a lot simpler though in case the device is faulty within its first two years of lifetime.
