Justin with the 13 year old nephew, Just a suggestion buy a Riding Lawn mower that stays at your house and have your nephew work for you. (Pay him a small amount of cash that will make his mom happy) and Keep some of the left over money in an account for when he goes to college, moves out, or eventually buys a car that's in his name so his mom can't sell it.
His mom needs to quit being a bum and get a better job
The mother stealing from her hardworking 13 year old, made me sick.
Agree - just shameful! The uncle should buy the young man a lock box.
He should go live with Uncle
She needs to quit being a bum and get a better job
I have an addiction to this show, can’t stop listening to it. Originally it was for information and advice to sort my own financial affairs, which I have done but, I couldn’t work out why I keep coming back taking in hours and hours of this content.
I know why now. Partly it’s for motivation, especially for discipline to stick to my own budgeting plan, but now I think it’s more that there’s nothing more satisfying than listening to Dave call BS on the callers that even you know are trying to sell their own narrative as a reason for their financial woes. Ahh so good 😂
Came here for my own advice, but stayed for the banter and the drama!😂
My dad took $1,500 out of my account as a teenager. I was saving up for a car. That was a lot money for a 17 year old kid in 1989 making $3.35 an hour. He paid two motorhome payments so they didn't re-po it. I couldn't believe he did it. He was more worried about how it made him look than the fact he stole from me. I never did or will do that to my kids. I made my son and daughter save 80% from all their jobs, 20% is for them to spend as they wish. They are learning work ethic and how to handle money. I give them goals based on their average pay.
That makes my blood boil when parents feel entitled to their kids money. You did great with your kids. ❤
@@mmp495 Why my bad example was a good one for me to my kiddos. I cannot change that it happened, but I can change my outcome less my parents and set my kids up for success. Thank you for the comment.
Wow, that's so sad he did that to you. I was made to save 50% as a kid and I had paper routes then had a job at 12. And I'll do the same with my kids. Good for you ❤
A ‘91 Volkswagen, “that just screams money.” Dave is savage haha
I was that caller.. yes he was way right by that
Prayers 🙏
@@ariannah4256 Hope things work out well for you!
Arianna, I hope you know throwing the phone away will just cost your family more money. That was bad advice. Counseling is going to help and do not let your husband make you feel complicit in his bad decisions.
@joycejohnson6349 thank you love❤ I closed the 2 credit cards that he was using so that definitely will help but counseling is for sure a must
Loved Jade's direct question to Michelle from Las Vegas - "Are you going to do it?" Because everything that Jade and Dave said, she had a counter argument. It didn't seem like she really wanted to take any advice. So Dave says, "Batten down the hatches - the hurricane is here!"
Rich people who have assets by accident it seems. From the husbands lack of input and private school they won’t be rich long.
Yea I skipped that call once she said the car lease thing.
Mo money Mo problems!! Crazy behavior!!!
Man, the lady stealing from her 13yr old broke my heart. How devastating!!! She’s handicapping that kid by doing that to him.
Me too, and that kid is leaving at 18 years old on the dot.
My husband had the same thing done to him. His father still doesn’t think it’s wrong because he was raised that way. My mother in law did not work and they made my husband sign over most of his paychecks to them and only let him keep a small portion until he was 21. They also let him drop out of high school at age 15 and go to work.
Gut wrenching stealing from the boy.
Its more common than you think. So devastating
I pity people who call themselves parents that are like this. Have some dignity and shame.
Couple in Vegas in a $3.5 million house making over $300k/month on one income with 400k in stocks, 30k in the bank and a couple million in retirement... but borrowing money from parents to pay for a whole life policy??!!! 🤪🤪🤪 and she's in the mortgage banking industry. It's hard to feel sorry for super wealthy people like this.
Lifestyle problems.
It makes me laugh to see someone making $350k complain about can’t pay their bills. You can’t cut back and survive on $350k? 🤦♂️
And he said 350k take home! Which means he would make almost 600k in gross if he lived in NJ!
I am not sure what world some USA American lives in but if they would live in the UK would understand that 100k would be luxury for many people
Poverty is a mindset, not a dollar amount.
It is actually crazy to me. I don't understand it at all especially when the solution is to make more.
yep
I can’t wrap my head around that mother selling her son’s lawn mower either Dave!!! 😭😭😭😂😂😂
Parents like that are scum. I hope her children have the courage to abandon her when they grow up and never contact her again.
Horrible.
She sounds like the mom from "Million Dollar Baby"
I’m thinking there’s addiction in there somewhere. $18k isn’t enough to raise a family and her sons are old enough to be home while she works more
That's a form abuse in my eyes. I agree... sounds like addiction.
So I've listened to this entire show and what I don't understand is this: if callers are asking for advice, why do they not listen? Also, if I were to call into the show, I would have all my figures written down and my question ready. I would make bullet points and stick to my question and not wander. I think more callers would get through and Dave would not say, "what is your question?". It's quite frustrating as a listener.
You and I think alike.
You are a seasoned listener. They are not. 😊
This❤
Most of those folks are not ready for the advice unfortunately.
Most can't let go of their lifestyle for any period of time. They can't accept it
Dave has been in a mood this week 😅😅 the callers were not ready 😂
Dave is a man can make you feel safe, comfortable, and seeking for brighter future. Thanks to him I am be able to get 3 in the morning and trying to achieve my goals as quick as I can.
Very true. Good luck with everything from the UK!
The Michelle/Tyler call was WILD 😅.... Dude, that whole life agent is rolling in cash. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Today's show had a lot about parents needing money from their kids, both young and old - unbelievable! And CARS, CARS, CARS - my, people get themselves in a lot of financial trouble with car payments and leases!
Except my car payment isn't the problem that has been on time every month for 5 years and we really didn't have much of a choice , but considering we got a brand new car with 6 miles for $31,000 and only owe $12,800 I say it isn't that bad. Our car is not an issue whatsoever
Am I just short on patience today or are most of the callers in denial? I'm amazed at how long Dave allows them to drone on and on.
I think it’s a fine line sometimes because I notice that lately he’s been criticized for cutting people off too soon. My impatience is usually with callers who call for advice and then argue about it, hoping to be The Exception…😳😬😊
Another great 2 hours with Ramsey Solutions. As I am always on the road. Just wish I didn't need to hit SKIP ADs.😉 God bless y'all. Thank you for always putting out great content.

@@strqueen123I do nit pay for any premium services or any streaming content. Goes against my money savings goals.
Take the nephew to the bank and open an account in his name that his mom has no access to.
My parents (adopted) took out a 5000 loan when I was in 11th grade and let me and my sister split it as long as we make the payments.
I had a job at McDonald’s making 300 a week.
I bought a $2500 dirtbike.
I would pay them $150 a week.
I did that for 3 years until I crashed my car and needed to borrow 3k from my sisters wedding fund.
My mom said sure no problem just keep the payments going.
Time after time I would run into an issue and l would have no money to pay for it but they would.
In Afghanistan I noticed that my 40k I had saved started to dwindle.
My mother had a power of attorney so I asked her about it.
She said, oh, that’s just the money you owe us.
At that time I had about 14,000 left.
I’ve had a job since I was 12 years old in some way shape or form.
I’ve made a lot of money and have nothing to show for it because I was not financially educated.
People will do crazy things for money because they think it makes the world go round.
Money doesn’t change you, it reveals who you are.
The mother that stole from her kid is scum.
Yes, that poor kid.
Agree. Wish I could help the boy.
@@sharoncounce8907If I knew the kid, I would buy him a lock box!
Jade is my favorite personality.
Thanks for your every day show learning and applying a lot .. love and blessing
That just ticks me off when parents take their child's hard earned $$.
Why the heck does someone with 2 million in assets even need life insurance?
"Knowledge is the currency, not degrees." That my friends is wisdom in its best form...
Amazing show.
Hey, this is a common theme. Why can’t we have more shows focus on mistakes parents make that affect their children.
Also a show with Deloney on the effect of a parent making bad financial decisions and or a manipulating parent.
Truly great show.
Can we make every two weeks on Mondays “Millionaire Hour?”
Yes please!!
Love that idea! Much needed too.
$900 a month for a car! That’s more than my monthly rent. You might as well live in it! Good Lord! 😳
That's the payment on a new midrange Honda Odyssey. Welcome to the new new normal ☹️
Happy Halloween. Doordashin
Well, I've had comments removed now for several days, so I'm done here - best of luck to all of you and thanks to those who have found my comments helpful and let me know. I can see this site is tightly curated to only let certain kinds of remarks get through.
I see several comments from you for this video. You may have the comments set to “top” comments, instead of “newest” comments. The way RUclips does things is quite confusing, so I wanted to let you know I see you 😊
I noticed the other day you wrote about having credit cards. Maybe that caused it?? I've had comments removed too.
No, actually I had a comment to the girl about how to get experience in marketing writing with lots of examples and it was taken off, likely because I also did not agree with the advice given. I've been warned again - so no more for me.@@Kmc1316
$11K house payment? Can not relate to the amount of money this couple makes and still they are in such a financial bind.
When ppl make that much money it’s about keeping up with the Jones’. I can’t imagine spending $4k/mo on private school tuition. What’s wrong with the public schools in rich communities??? 👀👀👀
1:28:00 big hat not cattle… big hat no cattle… big HAT NO CATTLEEEE 😂
So the 13 yrs Mom, just killed the golden goose. Instead of working more to sure up her short fall, She sells the lawnmower from the kid who loves what he’s doing. So next month what is she going to do when she has a “short fall”.
Jade is awesome at hosting and answering questions!
Oh, I had to stop candy crush! the sound of the candy crushing was addictive.. It was like popping bubble wrap!
The mom needs to provide for her son, not the other way around
Wonderful financial leadership. Great team. Grateful!
Yay! Dave is on the panel! ❤👏👏
Great title on today's show. The team will never be out of business with the way society spends. 😮
Michelle and Tyler call about burning through 12,000 a month living in 3 million dollar home and having a million in retirement. Def rich ppl problems I swear and the husband is "Only making" over 300k a year. Sorry no sympathy for them. Most people never could dream of having those type of problems
I need that halloween spending rant edited into its own video 😂... it's definitely repostible!
Bellamy was cute! She’s got the boxes ticked off: school paid off, check! Place to live; check! Car plan: check. Boyfriend: oh, yeah, check?
Oops, erase the question mark…….that’s a definite, check!!
She was adorable. Jade was funny when she cracked up at her
Yes parents are people who have kids. I remember my dad asked my to “use my income” to get a mortgage. I was a 21 year old teacher. Thankfully I took a mortgage brokers course and knew better
I feel like buying that 13 year old boy a new mower. His mother is morally bankrupt.
Loved the video Gigi and hubby and your interaction together. Glad you have this behind you and move on. My hubby and I have been married 50 years and we get along better now than we ever have.
😂😂 I grew up naming vehicles. My car is a 14 Jeep Cherokee. It’s paid off . And its name is Giant Blueberry. 😅
30k income a month from the husband and they spend more than they make 😅
The mom is jealous of the sons success and trying to keep him down.
Dude that spends 14k on his phone game is probably a BEAST at whatever game he’s playing.
Yeah, because he bought his way to the top😢
That Kemmons Wilson quote was likely referring to the revolutionary reservation. System developed in 1965, Holidex.
Uncle David, I just needed God's Kingdom come and SDIs to remind me of Home Retirement 😊
The people you see now crowding Walmart are the same people who used to shop at Nordstrom. 😂
I opened an account with Ally and I have made $1500 so far off of 50k. My bank would pay me about $45 dollars so far, they moved my interest up from 3.25% to over 4% now.
JADE is so Gorgeous ❤
Yay! To the couple planning a home birth! I had one last year and would recommend it to anyone who qualifies. It’ll be amazing.
Thank you so much!! We are excited 😊🥰
Jade I love your hair girl!!!
These two together are my favorite. I love everyone however she feels spicy like Dave.
I read that orange jumpsuits are popular this year, and after Halloween they make great gardenwear.
We spent $12 on Halloween this year and it covered 5 people. Just have to be creative!
14k on games amazing, Ramsey almost fell outta his seat 🤣
Just seems like he speaks to make himself feel good
Exactly I would make sure that Card was discontinued and he couldn’t use it
And since you do all the paperwork and all the phone calls, refused to get them another one
I did this to my ex-husband with his wallet it would just conveniently go missing
He is experienced, has valuable information. He is just unlikable!!! Thank you and sorry . I hope you get a little bit of that magic one day.
It's official, Jade is purrfectly fluent in catspeak meow!
😂 Yes Jade! I was thinking the same thing 😂 I have no idea how your phone got smashed under my car 😂
But yeah he will just get another, the problem has to be healed by a psychologist.
Josh, home births are awesome!! I did for both our boys ❤I did the birth pool which the warm water feels amazing 💦. All natural. Nothing better than just all snuggling in your own bed after, already at home. 🏡 y’all will love!!
I just want to know what game it is😂

If you are planning a home birth, make sure you are prepared to pay for *both* a home birth and a hospital birth. If there is a change of venue, you don’t get the money back from the midwife. Also if there is any issue with the baby needing NICU care, it will require a lot of funds. When our home birthed baby was in the NICU, he was not the only home birthed baby in the NICU. This is not to discourage anyone from proceeding to have a child or a home birth, but don’t be naive to what it can cost to have a baby even with best laid plans… Also a woman who home births, is probably not going to want to go back to work at 6 weeks…
I usually agree with everything but the degree requirement is real when not self-employed.
listening to the Ramsey show for awhile now, seems like they have a general principle if NOT helping out family in need. Like Cindy from Ohio. I mean that's her son who is a single dad of 4. Why not help him out?? If it was a widowed single mom, I bet you he would have felt differently..
The 1st caller's husband sounds like DSP. He's back at home pulling Hogans.
No clue what any of that means

14k on phone games. Jesus Christ!
This couple from Vegas is ridiculous… the most absurd call I’ve heard on this show
Keshawn…please do not help your dad buy a house.
Husband with video game addiction ?? Lose the credit and bank cards and debit cards and replace them one at a time as lost. The bank will issue a clean brand new one that prevents old charges.
she needs a gambling addiction professional, not a marriage counselor. There are many hotlines and the phone numbers are easily available
What I learned doing my debt-free, zero loan PHD is that a degree gets you a seat on the table faster in most cases, than those without it for particular professional fields - COMMUNICATIONS is one of those areas - don’t care how many books you read on your own - you need professional training AND regular feedback or go start at the bottom of the barrel if you can find anyone willingly to hire you (ask Dave - he seems to hire folks all the time..). However, aim for as much debt free as possible.

I don't believe Justin for a second. I don't know why, maybe his affect? Why would you phone Dave for this. It sounded like a prepared script or screenplay
"Lots of REALLY nice cars for $7000"
Sure 10+ years ago, OR if you can afford to replace that $7k car every 3 years.
I appreciate all the good that Dave does, but on some things he's as out of touch as he is successful.
I'm a Ramsey follower, but i dont know why you all bash Bitcoin when it is at a 52 week high, has doubled in the last year and increased in value ten-fold in the last 5 years. Facts matter.
I don't think you understand what Bitcoin actually is. It's not just an idea. Do some research.
Because the only money it makes are from the other investors unlike stocks and bonds that also make money from economic activity. It's a bigger fools proposition and has never performed in the way it was supposed to. It is the perfect opportunity for gamblers and institutional investors to rob people with little knowledge or patience for the actual market. A get rich never scheme for 97% of "investors".

It's definitely NOT.
When spending is the problem it's his fault. Yall need to learn to take accountability...I never said that I didn't cause any issues in the marriage.
