Pascal Liger I would give anything to travel on the most gorgeous, classy ,beautiful, charming train in the world . I have watch this train on films ,Drama, Thriller, . But with me it is a Dream that can never be true , as last 2017 I was diagnosed with COPD and sleep apnoea, and now I have OXYGEN TANKS , but for two years I was unable to leave my home because I was afraid if I caught cold. , but they have also given me mobile Oxygen Tank and because of these tank I have been shopping for the first time in 2 years . But now I am going to watch this film if only a touring film .

I TOTALLY AGREE ! The ONLY BEST WAY to really see a country is by traveling on board a train (preferably a luxury liner such as the one depicted in the video above) !
If you fly in a commercial airliner ✈️, then all you'll see are clouds ☁️☁️☁️☁️ !
If you ride in a boat ⛵, then all you'll see is the river, ocean 🌊, or some other body of water !
If you take the train 🚂, then you'll be able to see villages 🏘️, towns, rivers, oceans 🌊, mountains ⛰️, forests 🌳, caves, beaches 🏖️, and so much more depending upon where the tracks 🛤️ were laid out and all 😊 !

I've watched or attempted to watch many train travel videos. This is certainly one of the best. Many are 20 sec to 2 min - not long enough to get a feeling of anything. Many only show the scenery, and others are far to shaky to see anything. In this, the camera is smooth and stable and shows that it is a quality camera with someone who knows how to use it properly and can select the right shots to give the viewer an opportunity to appreciate your experience. BRAVO, well done and thanks.

I read about the Orient Express in an encyclopedia during my high school years, I have been fascinated with it since then. Today it's called the Venice Simplon Orient Express. It was called the train of Kings & the King of trains. When Itravel long distance, I travel by Amtrak train, it doesn't have anywhere near what the Venice Simplon Orient Express has, but the ride is great, it's comfortable, a great way to see the countryside and on the train you can talk to other passengers, take pictures, walk on the train. I enjoy train travel very much, it's the civilized way to travel.

Agatha Christie's classic novel Murder on the Orient Express made this train's name known to almost all educated Indians. And I would definitely like to travel in it someday

Ruby20111000 mits not luxury when you have to share the toilets, and no showers,God even Emirates have shower. How can you get dressed for dinner without having a shower? Passengers must honk by the time they leave the train.

There was a time, I was going from Atlanta to Maryland, she was going to NY; I mentioned it was a bad time as the Superbowl was in townn and she also said they had problems finding Hotels. Didn't realize what they were getting into. It led to one of the most wonderful Breakfasts I've ever had. I hope she's Ok.

2:25 - Roman style mosaic flooring in the bathroom really got me! No need to read a paper on the loo, just look at your feet! Wow!!! The marquetry on the wall, table linen, fine china, gastronomic delights, and a visual symphony at your feet! Heaven on wheels!!! I have every intention of riding this train.
Mark, thank you for a quality video! Very well done, and much appreciated!! I visited the site you mentioned at end of video - www.seat61.com/vsoe
And I was very impressed by your well organized, detailed information about costs, schedules, photos, options, route, and every possible question answered. You must be an analyst. Many thanks, and bon voyage!
