Do we have to know any of the Sanger method? We were taught it in class I’m very confused about if we need to know it (I do AQA btw)

No, you don't need to know thr Sanger method for AQA. It used to be on the spec, but it was removed from the spec in 2015.

We follow AQA and were taught gel electrophoresis, PCR and Sanger sequencing in class but in the video, you mention that the sequencing methods do not need to be learned for AQA. I'm confused on whether it is necessary to learn it or not.

Electrophoresis and PCR are separate and you do need to know them. We weren’t taught sanger method and as far as I know you don’t need to know it
