You have to follow an official process if you want to declare the land as a wildlife refuge but it is possible. But there's a lot of nuance to all that and I think the local hunting club can even deny your application. Anyways, you really need to know your legal situation before you come charging. Hunting in most of Europe is managed as a common and private property often has no legal relevance on whether hunters have access or not. That's more an anglophone concept, most EU nations don't do that.
I am so in love not only with your chateau, but the out buildings too. You have so much potential in those buildings. I am aware that it would take a lot of money to restore them, but they could also generate quite a bit of income too. You are both so blessed to have found and purchased this property. Good luck. I love your videos and look forward to watching them every week.
The thing is the renovation costs exceed the income by renting it out. Plus the renting out will occupy your time too which....you will need for the renovation (and gardening and...and..and..)
You have one of the best sites....so natural and humorous! Wow, look at the flowering trees and daffodils...what a treat! Oh darn, I was looking forward to hearing Dominic crunch his carrots...maybe I'm warped, but I love listening to a good crunch!
Amanda, if you want to “be sitting on the sofa, in front of the tv eating a big bowl of Fruit Loops”, then put it in the “schedule”, and do it. You deserve it.
Goodness. My husband and I have a five year goal to move to Italy in 2028. So appreciate your information about earlier the better to start to try to obtain citizenship for Italy. Questions- His great, great grandpa was Italian. That is the 3rd generation back, so will that make the process easier for my husband and I if he gets the citizenship before me?
Your humor escapes those watching sometimes. I suspect you hate lucky charms. Tongue in cheek. No offense intended just how I perceive. Love your humor. ❤
Amanda, you were in Momma Bear mode with the hunters last year and with good reason! More than the fact that it’s Your property is the fact that you, Lincoln and the girls could be out anywhere there and you don’t need to be worrying about gettin shot! …on YOUR property! There is no excuse to be there. They have plenty of areas to hunt legally! BTW I absolutely love the drone footage, anywhere, anytime. Enzo is the happiest 3 legged dog ever. What a beautiful life you give to all the animals❤❤❤
My back is killing me watching you prepare the flower beds. You have amazing energy. I’m with you on the hunting thing. I’d be afraid the dogs would get a hold of your cats too.
Never worry about talking about hunting. I commented a while ago about my own struggles with hunters on my 100-acre country property only wanting the heads and not the rest for eating. It still makes me so irked when I once saw a young, headless buck! I booby-trapped the lane with what I can’t tell you what but there were flat tires. I also was constantly tearing down blinds on my property - I was a whirling dervish of irkness! Keep on Amanda!
Love your warped sense of humour, Amanda would certainly get quite the reputation. Not only Crazy Cat Lady and additionally Crazy Deer Lady…or should that be Dear….❤🇨🇦😝
Hi Amanda & Lincoln, I am absolutely not sick of hearing you talk about the hunters, I would feel the same way about the situation. Nice to see you have a sponsor for the video. It's always nice seeing the donkey's. I really love the look of the buildings on your beautiful property. Thank you so much for sharing, have a really wonderful rest of the weekend and week ahead. Take care, stay well! Lots of love, Kathy x ❤
Hi guys 😊 I’m a Cuban born , both my mom and dad parents were born in Spain 🇪🇸 they had to emigrate back in the 1930 to Cuba , my parents were born in Cuba . Later on in life my parents got the Spanish citizenship through their parents. Around 2010 me and my two daughters became Spaniard citizens , we can live and work in any country with in the European Union . It’s a good thing to have , you never know , specially now days in US …
I have an Irish passport just in case the U.K. gets worse too. However, both countries have an election this year so hopefully we will change our government and your president will stay the same but your Congress will change the majority.
Cuban here as well, but unfortunately, it was my great-grandparents born in Barcelona and no documentation post-Castro. Still, I now live in France and getting a French visa is much easier than Amanda & Lincoln would lead you to believe based on this episode🤷🏻♀️
Your first clip of Lincoln in the cottage was a hoot; along with the music my mind could only fathom the work (in hyper drive) as a form of hive deconstruction. Your care in maintaining the architectural details of the structures is commendable. We have watched as our antique buildings in California disappear due to the mindset of “it will be cheaper to build new”. This reminds me of eight little words, just because you can doesn’t mean you should. Our 1915 Craftsman bungalow home was lost to fire three years ago, most of the above ground structure slipped into the basement and we were only left with burnt vertical sticks with no parts that could be restored. We are in the process of rebuilding in the style of the house that was lost, both inside and out. Yes, it is all new construction, but my hope is that no one walking down the street will ever be able to guess that the house was a complete loss and that it will still appear to be the original 1915 Craftsman bungalow home (that looks like it just had a fresh coat of paint). Best to all of you from a not so sunny California.
Oh my gosh , I found your channel and I have been been watching your progress of your beautiful home. I can officially say I have watched every episode some twice and went back and hit liked on every single one that I have watched. I also am an American from the bay area, but living in Saudi Arabia /Dubai . It’s exciting to move to another country. Try to learn another language and immerse yourself into culture and art. I admire your what you both have done for your family. I have to say I love your sense of humor and Lincoln’s calmness, and the fact that you have all these rescues I can relate. I have five rescues inside and 26 stray cats outside. Yeah it’s a problem here as well now ! The compliments I simply adore your mix of old and modern with pops of colors. I can’t get over how you both just picked up and started DYI everything. Amazing channel you’re filming and editing Music choices and the combination of your subjects have me hooked! ❤
The donkeys are so cute!!! They certainly love their treats!!! I’m so glad for you that you got your Italian citizenship so you can live in France and have access to any European country. Thank you for describing the process. xx
I understand you. Wild animals need a life, too. Run free. I was only walking my dog in the woodlands yesterday and startled a deer, it scared him more than deer I think . I even saw a stoat ❤
You are not alone in feeling some responsibility to the wildlife that finds its way to your land. I would feel the exact same way. You have many acres and I have 1/4 acre and if someone harmed the bunny that has been living in my backyard for the better part of a year, I would go all mama bear on them. She has found a safe haven here and that makes me very happy. Keep doing what your're doing, Amanda. It makes my heart happy to see your compassion!
My goodness I had no idea you all lived on the North side of the City! Such a small world. And brava for everything you accomplish week in and week out. ❤
I would also complain about the shooters and hunting on your land. I would find it distressing to have any deer that sheltered and had sanctuary in my woods chased off my land and shot. I would most probably have boundary signs with no trespass, hunting, shooting around my property and animal sanctuary signs. Thank you for your weekly updates. I hope you have a wonderful week.
Great vid! btw - slate thickness is just one consideration when relaying a roof. Slate by nature varies in hardness by location of the source as it is a natural material. We recently redid our slate roof in the US and there were many options. If you want the hardest (most durable) slate at a "good" thickness it comes at a premium. A thick slate that is "softer" isn't necessarily the best option, so exercise some care. Slates erode over time as it s a natural material with the softer materials thinning more quickly. Our roof lasted 130 years, which I've learned is pretty good for the US. We had to source slate from Canada to get something that will last another 130 years. Some learning to do on this topic but I'm sure you'll figure out what's best for your home, out buildings, and budget. Great content and vids - keep up the great work!
The rumpus room is an awesome idea but you could make a cool speakeasy with entrance to it being an old wardrobe!!!! Like Narnia! I would absolutely do that if I had a chateau! 😂 Ya sitting in your own speakeasy drinking fancy cocktails, eating snacks and reading books on antiques and vintage fashion trends and cookbooks guiding you through the sourdough process! That’s the life!
Oh Amanda i am soooooo with you on the hunting front ! I hate it with a vengeance! Here in the UK wr have problems with fox hunting which is supposed to be illegal but they find loop holes its so upsetting i dont blame you for telling them to go away esp with the kitties ! Sadly spring has not sprung here yet nothing but rain rain and more rain 😢…, we have welsh slate roofs by tradition and yes hugely expensive but last a lifetime ! …. I hope you do the cottage for rentals 😊 missed Dominics carrott crunching 😂 thanks for sharing ❤
Your out buildings are lovely - the more I see of your land and it’s structures the more fascinated I am about the history. I’m so glad your preserving them!
Love seeing your kitty cats hanging out with you during your Q&A. The donkeys are looking good. So jealous you have spring. We just got over a foot of snow ❄️ It’s pretty but it was followed by really cold 🥶 weather. Brr 🥶🥶🥶Thanks for sharing 😍😘
This is going to sound crazy....but I have been waiting to see all of that ivy down off of the dormer and walls.....Amanda...you are so brave and it looks so much better. I am impressed!! The cottage has so many possibilities. Love it! Those donkeys are just too cute....you take such good care of all of your animals. 💗
Great Vignettes About Chateau Life. I love your Chateau and property - especially the outbuildings and that intriguing architectural gem of building with the rounded dormer - it would make a great studio. Walled Garden. Your efforts in the walled garden are showing fruit er vegetables… and, soon, more herbs/flowers. I can almost feel being there with you, edging away with the wisp of Spring in the air and surroundings. Citizenship. It took me a few years to get my dual Irish Citizenship - Originally it was as a gift for my Dad but, luck of the Irish, they gave it to me, too. Now I’m intent on getting my EU Passport in 2024; I’m planning an extended visit walking parts of the Camino between France To Spain And Portugal.
I'm a US citizen, but was able to obtain dual citizenship with Ireland a few years ago ( I was eligible due to my Irish-born grandparents). It was not highly complicated-just a lot of paperwork that had to be done and sent to Ireland. This all happened during COVID, so the whole process took about two years. Ireland is also a member of the EU, so I'm glad to have the citizenship. I haven't gone through the passport process, but I do have the document showing my Irish citizenship.
Your close-up shots are amazing, & I forget how much work you both put towards clearing all the vines on the old cottage. I love this show for the interactions you have with Lincoln, and of course the animals too. The sunsets are spectacular too
I love your channel and never miss an episode. I love you and your his adds banter. But mostly I absolutely love your sense of humor! That's the main reason. I watch. You never fail to crack me up😂😂 You both are hard workers and you put out great videos every week. I appreciate all your hard work on them
Thanks for sharing another great video makes feel crazy that I am taking so long to take down a basement ceiling of my 1963 bungalow but in my 69th year and found have lost a lot of strength in my right arm after a hornet sting that caused neuropathy yes a hornet sting hit a nerve and now have no strength as right handed and that's the arm that was strung frustrating! But have a friend that is going to help put up bead board on the ceiling! His rates are low and appreciate his help ! He painted the outside of the house two years ago for 600.canadian yes cheap gave him a big tip !And he did a beautiful job ! Love the humor the two of you make me smile every time !😀😍
Love Fruit Loops! We had a 50 arce farm in rural Illinois and my father, a hunter himself, would not allow anyone to hunt on his property. He didn't trust that they knew what they were doing and he had 4 children to protect. Its your property, so its your rules.
Here in the Forest of Dean we have hundreds of deer, three different varieties. Wild boar but they are not hunted but culled by marksmen to keep them from overrunning the forest and damaging the trees when food gets scarce.
I truly admire your courage and fortitude ,Amanda, to climb that really high ladder and work at that height. Also you have every right to not want dogs and hunters on your land. It is private property and you have the right to walk on your own land and not fear being shot or attacked by dogs. The hunters have plenty of other spaces not inhabited by humans to do their so called sport hunting. Love all the drone footage as it really captures the vast space of land you own and also love getting 2 videos per week from you lovely people now.
The sky images were beautiful again today. Plus, I love it when you take us into the walled garden so we can see what you are preparing for the next season and fun to see dogs keeping you company. Yummy carrots for the donkey's. Good job, ladder lady, to get some of the vines off the guest house dormer before they wake up for the season as everything else is. Thank you for sharing.
Amanda your property is beautiful. That walled garden makes me swoon! Congratulations on overcoming your fear of heights. I could no more climb up a tall ladder than fly to the moon!
You're lucky, we moved to France last year on a tourist visa and have to renew it every year. Luckily we can do that financially but it's not a long-term solution. We're going through the process for something more permanent but it's France and it takes time. Also, the one is natural slate, split out of stone. The other looks like a fiber cement "slate". It's decent, it's manufactured, the only downside besides being very brittle, is that it seems to provide more moss growth than true slate. At least at our property. One outbuilding has it, the rest is real. Also, I would recommend removing all the ivy. I know people like it, but it's detrimental to the stone and horrific to the roof/structure. I feel you on the mowing, we're in the Pyrenees and...I just don't want to start yet, but it's getting to that point.
A & L, I'm so happy for you that everything worked out to get Italian citizenship through Amanda's father. It couldn't happen to two nicer people. Through your improvements to the chateau and the way you take care of your animals, you are making France (and the world) better.
Boy! Do I love the landscape and the shots you make to let us be part of it! I also love the shots about the cats, being a cat-lover myself...Please keep showing us the moods of your wonderful property!!!
I watch a lot of these chateau shows and they all need the same machines, a cherry picker, a backhoe, ride on lawn mover and electric hand chain saw, and a good power washer.
Well there’s not anything in this video not to love. Course the kitties and donkeys are very special. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises and enjoying your comments Plus, Amanda love your yellow tennies. Have a great week!! 😁
I don't blame you guys for feeling the way you do about the hunting, and it spilling over onto your property. I admire your love for animals. I am also from the Bay, and a first generation Euro-American. I have considered applying for my dual citizenship. Love your channel very much, and the donkeys really put a smile on anyone's face. Your animal adventures bring me so much joy.
The care and feeding of the chateau property must feel overwhelming at times. It’s rewarding, I’m sure. You & Lincoln are having the experience of a lifetime. A bientot!
It would be interesting to go back in time and see the walled garden at its heyday. It's a huge area they must have really cranked out the fruits and veggies.
Love everything about your channel, it's a beautiful smorgasbord of so many interesting elements, i.e. animals, buildings, food, the landscape and your interaction and relationship to everything around you. Kudos to your hard work (and conquering heights Amanda), it really is impressive as is your stunning drone footage, which I never tire of. Your chateau and the location is truly a little bit of heaven, I would never want to leave that place and with spring on its way I cannot wait to see what your creative spirits are going to provide us with. Regarding the hunting, I completely agree; they would have to wrestle with me first before I would allow these cowards on my land to entrap and kill beautiful, harmless animals in the name of sport...despicable. It's a real treat seeing the donkeys get their treats. They are gorgeous and thanks to your love and kindness, looking in great shape. You really are a fabulous couple. Thank you, I'm already looking forward to watching your next vlog and the next... ❤
I found your channel a few months ago, and love it! Your self-depreciating sense of humour, your work ethic (oh to be young and energetic again!), your transparency (i.e. honesty), the beautiful scenery, and the great editing. Thank-you so much, I look forward to all your videos!
Hello Chatlanders, love all the updates. You inspire me to get moving, and jealous you are seeing signs of spring. I'm on your side about the hunters and their hounds.... boundaries 😞 Enjoy your fine weather, stay safe 🙏💖🦋
Lucky for you to have that wonderful walled garden. My friends in the US who live in a country setting have all but given up planting salad bars for the deer. The green grass in the drone shots looks delightful 😍 As do the skies and beautiful clouds.
I’m of Portuguese descent and they changed it last year to where you now have to be fluent in the language to get citizenship. Too many people moving there getting citizenship, they want to keep it Portuguese, and I can’t blame them. Now I have to learn Portuguese to move there.
I've said it before, and I have to say it again, I love your channel. Not put on like you're trying to entertain us and yet you do, naturally. Love your sense of humor and love your animals for sure. Can't wait till you're able to get to some more decorating after the destruction!😊 Regards from Coeur d'alene
Interesting work/path you two are on...~ I've come to realize that almost EVERY elderly person that has attempted to give me advice is spot on! Lived in a farm home built in 1914 (KS) & the owner told me to get all the vines growing up the house OFF: they destroy the structure. Take it or leave this advice ~ & peace to you & you're family, still praying you'll consider a place of worship :-)
Another person loving your Chateau, beautiful size and gorgeous outbuildings. Decoration is brilliant no gold leaf. Patrick and Stuart in Journey to the Chateau say that country châteaux were more simple and not over gilded. Donc voila. With you on the chasse. The other thing is the bullets can go for a mile or so and don’t respect borders.
You have such a beautiful collection of buildings on your property. No wonder you fell in love with the place. They are all so charming and I look forward to seeing what you do with them all. Your favourite building would be nice as a separate guest house.
Brilliant idea promotion of the natural deodorant, I love that it has capabilities for refills. I once saw something on TV about a store called 'The Container Store ' I think that was the name. You can bring back your containers to be refilled, shampoo, lotion, peanut butter, anything. Wishing that would take hold, especially when plastic recycling is such a joke. They trick you into thinking they do something with it. Sincerely in San Diego.
Amanda, I am onboard 100% with your hunting rules!! As a Vegan, I would consider the deer on my property 'technically' mine! And not even technically, I would feel they're all mine, as all the animals.
Here's a thought: I wonder if you can use the damaged zinc bathtub and make into some some kind of water feature for the garden? It would be gorgeous. Love everything that you are doing. Proud of you both for the beauty you are restoring to the chateau and out buildings. I believe they will all be more beautiful than what was originally designed.
Totally agree with you re the hunting dogs. I would be afraid they would go after your pets 😢 we have a hunt that goes along the road at the end of our garden and it makes me very anxious
I like watching restoration projects in general…specially in France ..but you guys are different, I started binge watching your channel ..I like you as people, I hope you manage to get it done before Amanda is 117 😁 hugs!
Your channel is so interesting, informative, beautiful and funny. I injured my back a while ago and your French Chateau has saved me from many boring hours recovering. Thanks for sharing it all with me.
Interesting to see what you are doing, I am too old for it now, but watching other people doing this is also enjoyable. One tip, when you use a ladder put it at a steeper angle, not 45 degrees but 60 or 70, then it’s loaded more favourably (I hope my english is ok).
Last time I looked you needed a parent with Italian citizenship. My grandparents on both side are born Italians I don’t think they ever renounced their nationality.
We completely understand your views about people hunting on your property. 'stick to your guns' (in the nicest possible way...).. We obtained Italian Citzenship whilst living in Australia before moving to the EU. Thankfully my husband got his just prior to the change to the language rule coming into force. He's working hard to learn the language but it takes a little longer when in your 60s. Proficiency in Italian is now a requirement for citizenship. We believe the same rule is also being adopted in France or perhaps it has already been implemented.
You guys really do have a great channel. You are yourselves and aren’t afraid to act silly and vulnerable . This is what keeps me coming back for more! You make me feel like family and that is a rare gift! Please keep it up. BTW. Me and my wife have already turned in all of our documents to the Croatian consulate for citizenship. This is so we can live in Europe as well!
My husband is a hunter we have a small farm in va our home away from home they hunt with dogs there and he says its unsports man like but thats part of thier culture which is fine until they drive onto our property trying to retrieve thier mutts happy holidays
Amanda, you definitely conquered your fear of heights. Well done! Love sll of the drone footages and seeing the animals. The donkeys were happy with last year's carrots.😊 The garden will be more abundant, hopefully with the new beds. It is definitely a labor of love and nowadays necessity for a lot of us. It was interesting hearing about your Italian citizenship and the process. How far back can you go to your heritage? Mine goes back to my great grandfather. Unfortunately, prior to that, record keeping was sparse or lost. Most of the birth and baptism records were kept in churches , and many were lost in fires. I support you about the dogs on your property. I would be worried for your animals and children as well. Stay well. Great job on the videos.
ahhh! that lovely Vivaldi again 🤗💗🦊 I don't blame you for your feelings about the hunters and their dogs... boar are evil critters! I would be LIVID as well!... also... the smaller outbuilding that you don't know what to do with would be a great spot for a She-Shed or Man Cave! I would turn it into an art studio/crochet hut 🤣 a wall of yarn on one side and a watercolor area on the other ... a comfy chair for the crochet, and an easel and drawing table for the art! ( also a tea/coffee station, and a good space heater or little pot belly stove)
That’s cool, no single use plastic. I was observing how much single use plastic I have in my bathroom with shampoo, conditioner, lotion bottles. I will check out Wild!
Thank you for so much for clearing up the slate issue with me. I am used to the usual asphalt shingles that we use here in the states. I know slate is beautiful but extremely expensive here so we don’t have that. But I’ve looked at British and French roofs and thought they all needed roof jobs and I guess that’s why, because they are using slate and it has a bit of a different look. The slate is beautiful. It’s just that some rooftops look almost like they have a torn up old roof and it’s really just a slate one I guess. Such a difference in quality though. I guess it’s all in what you can afford and I’m glad you can get the really good stuff. I think it’ll last you a lot longer.
Hi Amanda and Lincoln. I just love your channel and have been watching from the beginning. I really enjoy the humour and your filming is gorgeous. It’s great seeing the seasons, something which are less extreme here in New Zealand. I adore the animals and their personalities. You are good people. Don’t change. JB

OK, I'm here for the acid in the rumpus room.. let the wild rumpus start❤
I’d be equally pee’d off with the hunters, no explanation needed

I was going to comment "I never want to miss a donkey crunching something he/she loves". Those donkeys are life-alteringly zen and cute and wild
Amanda, if you want to “be sitting on the sofa, in front of the tv eating a big bowl of Fruit Loops”, then put it in the “schedule”, and do it. You deserve it.
Well Lincoln certainly does. 😉
You can share with Lincoln lol😅
Froot Loops ROCK!

My back is killing me watching you prepare the flower beds. You have amazing energy. I’m with you on the hunting thing. I’d be afraid the dogs would get a hold of your cats too.
Wow before you know it you are going to have 40K viewers!❤ I love your channel and look forward to every one of the vlogs.
I hope so!
Some really beautiful drone footage. Happy Spring!

😁
On the RUclips channel Gold Shaw Farm he has the same problem with hunters on his property and has been through so much to stop them.
I love the eyebrow window on that building.
I love that you care for all the animals including the ones being hunted xx
That opening shot with the sunrise and moving clouds was spectacular. TY for sharing.
I'm a sucker for clouds
Thank you!
😺
You are the best French chateau reno program on RUclips So enjoy you
My goodness I had no idea you all lived on the North side of the City! Such a small world. And brava for everything you accomplish week in and week out. ❤
I could imagine their having lived near the Presidio or Pacific Heights or Marina. I lived in SF in late 80’s. Fun times.
The gardens are beautiful and your work is paying off!
Une lucarne....thats the name of those door /windows , lucarne de combles 😊
Watching you two labor is very relaxing for me.
You are fortunate to have the ability to live anywhere in Europe , we had Bexit which finished that possibility for us.
😕 It stinks.
The hunting issue is the same here in the US. We live in a midwestern rural area and landowners have issues with hunters on their land.
You’re ROCKIN the cool yellow Converse!
I watch. You never fail to crack me up😂😂
You both are hard workers and you put out great videos every week. I appreciate all your hard work on them
I think I have said this before, but I love your musical choices on your Channel. Very evocative and chateauesque
Love the humor the two of you make me smile every time !😀😍
It would piss me off to have hunters on my land too. There are so many things that could go wrong in that scenario.
I’m not sick of you talking about hunting. I agree with you.🤗🇨🇦
Love Fruit Loops! We had a 50 arce farm in rural Illinois and my father, a hunter himself, would not allow anyone to hunt on his property. He didn't trust that they knew what they were doing and he had 4 children to protect. Its your property, so its your rules.
Agreed.
You have every right to protect your property, your children, and wildlife on your land. Brava, to you!
Thanks :)
Watching the vast amount of work on your daily agenda, I get tired, my back aches, & I feel like taking a nap!
🤣
Well there’s not anything in this video not to love. Course the kitties and donkeys are very special. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises and enjoying your comments Plus, Amanda love your yellow tennies. Have a great week!! 😁
I don't blame you guys for feeling the way you do about the hunting, and it spilling over onto your property. I admire your love for animals. I am also from the Bay, and a first generation Euro-American. I have considered applying for my dual citizenship. Love your channel very much, and the donkeys really put a smile on anyone's face. Your animal adventures bring me so much joy.
My hands were itching to I help tear down all the old vines.
The camera shot of the taller ladder being placed in the hayloft door was epic.. Good job!
I am amazed at how hard you both work! Im going to order those products soy hubs will smell as good as Lincoln ❤
😃
I feel for you i believe animals should live without fear of hunters. I be there like a mad person stopping them
Agree with you 1,000 percent on no hunters or hunting dogs on your property. It’s YOUR property and your family and animals, even the wild ones.
I found your channel a few months ago, and love it! Your self-depreciating sense of humour, your work ethic (oh to be young and energetic again!), your transparency (i.e. honesty), the beautiful scenery, and the great editing. Thank-you so much, I look forward to all your videos!
Thank you so much!
Oh my gosh, I just love your donkeys!🥰🥰
Hello Chatlanders, love all the updates. You inspire me to get moving, and jealous you are seeing signs of spring. I'm on your side about the hunters and their hounds.... boundaries 😞 Enjoy your fine weather, stay safe 🙏💖🦋
Lucky for you to have that wonderful walled garden. My friends in the US who live in a country setting have all but given up planting salad bars for the deer.
The green grass in the drone shots looks delightful 😍
As do the skies and beautiful clouds.
You are both amazing.
These vines are not harmful to the buildings. They're a member of the grape family. Traditional ivy will wreak havoc...
Love your videos Amanda you are so down to earth ..I agree with you about the dogs on your land ❤
I like watching restoration projects in general…specially in France ..but you guys are different, I started binge watching your channel ..I like you as people, I hope you manage to get it done before Amanda is 117 😁 hugs!
😂
Your cottage is going to be stunning! Bravo on your ladder skills! 🏆
Thanks! Still alive...
Congrats :)
The donkeys were happy with last year's carrots.😊
The garden will be more abundant, hopefully with the new beds.
Loved the Vivaldi impressions.
JB
Loved the end shots! Beautiful property!
Good for you speaking up about hunters. I would be very upset too. Your outside cat visitors are probably not safe from the dogs either.
Love your dry sense of humor so funny, and your château gets better all the time we're huge fans
