Just a tip from a Former Feral Cat Trapper. Cover the trap with an old bathe or beach towel. It makes them feel safer to go in and feed, and bang, the door drops. I set 5 out on Sunday nights. Would take them to the free Spay Neuter Clinic on the way to work, and pick them up on the way home. They were fed and watered in the traps, and the following morning were released. I did 47 cats in my neighborhood before moving. Found people to take over food and watering of the colony.
5 of the 7 cats that moved with me were reformed ferals 😅

Coincidentally, after watching this episode today, we found a random cat sleeping on our patio. She meowed when she saw us and I immediately remembered what you said abt stray cats meowing while feral cats don’t. She is the absolute sweetest! So trusting and affectionate. She was definitely a former house cat. Who knows how long she’s been out on the streets. 😢 She has a few cuts and is super skinny. We fed her and brought her into our garage so she can be warm and safe. Our two indoor cats are curious, while she’s currently passed out and content in the garage. We’re taking her to the vet tomorrow to get checked. We’ve named her Macchiato Wednesday (Machi for short). 😸

@@OurFrenchChateau We are often in Brittany visiting family; so far we have avoided bagpipes lol. Our beloved 15 have a château and secure walled garden to wander about in and are loved (and spoilt) beyond life itself. It could not be otherwise. Most came from a breeder who, due to aged related issues, was closing her doors. The cats would have otherwise been euthanized. Your beautiful new grey looks as though it has escaped a fox attack. It is heartbreaking yet I know you will be able to help it receive vet help, recover and find new love. Your château has obviously become part of the Brittany 'cat verse' - you know they all share information on where to find food and kind souls to help.

You'll probably get a massive influx of advice, but the thing that worked for both of us was a compression band - not a sleeve - just an adjustable band with a hard plastic area that you strap around and it pulls down on the inflamed part of your arm. I have no use for all the app stuff, though, since we're home most of the time to take care of anything that crops up. Plus when the cats first met it, there was enormous entertainment. just watching them watch it. One would go inside for a few seconds, then come back out, sit down, and wait for it to move, so he could watch. If you can afford a Litter Robot or several, it's so very much worth it.

Years ago our Osteopathic Physician recommended a simple exercise to help with tennis elbow. My husband ended up with it after stripping our roof-lots of repetitive motion. Anyway-I am sure you have a ball peen hammer in your tool chest. Hold your arm out straight with your hand an inch or two below the head and slowly rotate to the left and right. As you get stronger, and in less pain, drop your hand further down the handle when you rotate. Our doctor explained that this motion breaks up the calcium deposits in your elbow area, thus relieving the pain. Hope this helps you, Lincoln.

Tell Lincoln that my doctor gave me an arm band to place under my elbow to prevent the pain and give the elbow a chance to heal. He says it presses on the nerve so the neurons can’t travel causing the pain. Well I really didn’t care about the neurons all I was interested in was relief. This worked for me first time wore it for 3 months with no pain. After taking it off, it didn’t return for two years. Now if it startsI go get the arm band an keep working. Hope this will work for Lincoln. I was amazed that something so simple worked. Don’t pull it so tight the circulation is impaired but very snug under your elbow.

Ditto to what others have said and to say, I feel for you Lincoln. I never played tennis and got it too. The only remedy is to rest it. I think a brace helped as It does hurt. Possibly try left handed poop scooping? lol I have a boy cat, the only of inside that goes in and out. He begs to come back in just to use the litter box. Then goes out to be a pest. He's our lil' trouble maker but truly gets along with all. Just likes to pester, a bit. I'm like, "You couldn't have pooped outside?". He says, "meow." Which I take as a no.

Adore Dinan. So easy to spend the day there. Wonderful shopping and everything else, too ❤ None of my feral cats like to play with kitty toys, nor do my rescue dogs. Think you have to start when they are small.😊

    🍎 Amanda and Lincoln,
Beautiful, sunny, summertime day in our part of the world!
Can't believe you traded the fabulous San Francisco for France, as we adore San Francisco! Not to mention my mother bought a house in Daly City when I was a teenager. Today the house is worth over a million, but unfortunately she sold it. You were talking about gorgeous trees in one of your videos. We also adore the beautiful Italian Cypress tree that is everywhere in the Italy region. So what did we do last month? We bought a dozen small ones and planted them here and there and we can't wait for them to grow so our house can resemble Italy or France. Didn't see them in Denmark as my husband is from Denmark, but we vision your chateau in the front with the beautiful Cypress trees to complete your gorgeous chateau. We also love different palm trees that we see you don't have either. We think you would love them as well somewhere in your garden since they're so tropical, and you can have an area that resembles the Caribbean or Hawaii. In the palm tree family we think you guys would like the gorgeous Christmas palm that bears red berries in December, but you can only use them for decoration as they're not edible. Royal palms and coconut trees are also very tropical looking and very easy to grow and don't need much care as they will shed their leaves and all you have to do is pick them up.
About your husband's Tennis elbow: Even certain organic foods as that's all we buy as we're vegetarians. We like to buy at organic stores like you do. You would be surprised even certain grains or coffee and tea especially can irritate the nervous system and cause pain. So we have learned when adding a new or old foods or vitamins to your diet, always add one at a time and see how your body reacts. If you didn't have the pain a week ago or two weeks ago or a month ago and then you suddenly have a reaction with cramps or pain, then you're allergic to something in your diet. Sometimes you have to detox and pretend you're on a very strict diet. For example, this week you only eat bland food like dry toast, homemade apple sauce, one kind of rice or any grain at a time so you can narrow down which one affects your cramps or pain that you're experiencing. It only takes two to three days to find out if it bothers you whatever you're eating. For example too, I love coffee and tea, but whenever I drink it, I experience pain, so I don't drink it, but if I drink hot chocolate sometimes, I don't experience pain, so I settle for hot chocolate, but not all the time as any dark drink like coffee and tea will turn your blood very very dark, it won't have a bright red color, it will have a dark color from the tea and coffee and we survive off of our blood. Even honey is very dangerous for some people for pain as I am so I can't have honey. I don't like it because it's the spit from the bee and it turns me off from liking it. Even children are allergic to white sugar. I can't have white sugar, so we make our own baked goods and we use overripe bananas for sugar and have thrown away any type of white sugar in the garbage that we used to buy at Whole foods market. The only sugar we can have sometimes and very little of it is coconut sugar. It has the least glycemic index, but only use very little of you have to have sugar. We have also thrown away all oils including coconut oil in the garbage ten years ago. Our body is not built like a machine or a car that has to have oil. We only use a touch of cream butter in baked goods if it calls for it, but is has to be cream butter, not margarine. Spreading a teaspoon of butter on toast is the worst thing you can do as it can give you pain. People experience pain because they're using too much sugar and oily foods, so it's like your body is talking to you. We don't believe in medication because we know it comes from the food we eat, but a lot of people don't know that. Since we're vegetarians we don't eat animals or animal products such as cows and pigs, sheep, deer, horses, and any type of fish as fish has worm eggs in their body. You can see the worms if you leave the fish for two to three days not in the refrigerator and you will see the worms in the fish. We believe like the animals do. They don't eat humans, so we don't eat them. If the dinosaurs could live as long as did being vegetarians and the birds can fly thousands of miles just eating berries and nuts, then we can survive on their diet. Speaking about nuts, when you buy nuts it's raw and so has to be heated through on medium temperature and not eaten raw as it can cause tremendous pain as I have experienced. We bought from Whole Foods all kinds of nuts, but I can only have it sometimes and very little as it will give you pain the muscles. I'm very allergic to soy and sunflower seeds as I will wake up coughing as if though I'm choking, but if I don't have it, I don't have that problem so then I'm allergic to those nuts. Also you said your daughter has inflammatory bowel disease. That's the name or any other medical name doctor is will tell people if they're experiencing that symptom, but it's very wise to find out what is causing that symptom for you what you're eating in your diet. Everyone eats a different diet, so you have to narrow it down to one thing at a time and then if the symptoms go away, then you don't have the condition anymore. That's how I have learned to be completely healthy, by studying my own body with my diet. According to some doctors that I had questions to ask years ago, they call me the healthy lady! So I thank God each day that I figured out it's coming from what we put in our mouths that will cause symptoms of conditions and pain and only hope that people will listen so they don't have to be on medication for the rest of their life. Also I must tell you, avoid any canned foods because they're full or preserveatives, salt and sugar. All of this goes into the blood and veins and this why even children are coming down with diabetes. It's all about our diet. It has nothing to do with age if children are having diabetes. Oh, we don't eat fried foods either as you will experience pain, as the food swims around in the oil and causes pain.
Have a Happy Watermelon Summer! 🌴

Lincoln, I took care of my tennis elbow by getting a velcro band that goes on the muscle between your wrist and elbow, works great! It stops your muscle from pulling on your elbow.

Cat litter - use wood pellets, the ones meant for heating, far more ecological, cheaper and easy to find. 9 cats you say....we now have 10, our originals and 5 abandoned from two liters last summer so you've room for more!

We have a Litter Robot-the iteration before the current design. I love it. But, as renters, we’ve moved a couple of times since buying it and have had to take it apart to fit in our car. It’s not the easiest thing to move. And, it got damaged in the last move, so now it doesn’t always rotate automatically, which is annoying. I should probably reach out to the company…
Anyway, there are a few different brands now, and since you’ll need at least 4-5, I would find one with great reviews and a reasonable price!
