thanks for all the possitive comments and ratings! really means alot... this is an unofficial video for the song "roland" by interpol made as a school project!
@@christinemarie5623 Did you confuse them with Bauhaus? "Bela Lugosi's Dead" is in one of the episodes of the Hotel season. Or maybe She Wants Revenge - Tear You Apart.
Wow, I just realized , after two years of watching this video on and off, that it is fan made?! Awesome job, hands down. The jacket scene is classic. When I think of this song, this video pops into mind.
This is possably one of the best music videos i've ever seen. This can;t have been a school project, you could graduate from 3rd year at uni with that kind of production quality/timeline foresight. You guys have real talent
Never heard of this song until I was watching a programme on a 21 year old kid called Karol Kot who was executed in Poland in 1968 for murder. On checking out who Kot was, it was mentioned that this song referred to him, listened to a few of Interpol’s songs, love them.
Wow. I love this song, and it's a shame it doesn't have an offical video, but this video should be it. Talking from a filmmakers point of view, this video was very well done. It's seemless and the effects are clearly the most impressive thing about it. I loved the reverse frames and color correction. The effects were just awesome.
This is the most impactful music video of my entire life. So much so that I first saw it in high school and have thought of it hundreds of times since. At one point in my life I couldn’t find it on YT and I was devastated. It reappeared just when I needed 😌
Alexey Editors are probably the band they get compared to the most. Also try Franz Ferdinand, White Lies, Bloc Party, Cinematics. Personally I love all of those bands.
This is really good. Love this song & Interpol. The photography is really nice throughout the whole video. Specially in the part of the train, at the start, that's beautiful!
Oh my, this is great, fits with the song perfectly! Fantastic effects, you better have gotten a good grade on that project! :) bad-freakin-ass, the song AND the video! ^_^
Nice work, my friend. You created a nice sense of tension and paranoia in this video, perfectly complimenting one of my favourite Interpol tracks. *high five*
this is a fucking awesome video man... expressing a free emotion and not letting a literal meaning come into play most likely what interpol and interpol fans wanted in a music video...
great video, keep doing what you are doing. my son is 12 and he started making his own videos - this has been an incredable influence on him. Thank you very much.
Some really cool elements to this, and I particularly like the ending. Generally though I think the action moves pretty slowly for what is a really frantic and fast song
I must say, Interpol is one of the best bands I have heard in a long time. There is no official video of this song that i am aware of (correct me if I'm wrong). This video is Schizophrenic as is the song; Great video! Congrats!
I don't even know how I found these guys... but I sure am glad I did.
Not really sure they've had any songs on AHS - Google says "no", and i don't remember ever hearing them on there.
4chan got me into that album

House of wax probably

is it actually??
I'm watching it now for the first time and it is amazing
Another Interpol song with lyrics that seem to be batshit crazy...
I love these guys so much.
I agree , they are amazing. I think the song is about a serial killer from Poland that cuts people into pieces by severing their joints. ❤
Song of House of Wax...camp scene :)
Bo coming :D
I love the ending sound.

An unofficial video better than much official videos around here...
My memories always take me to this video!
One last sprint listening to this song, it makes me feel so powerful.
"my best friend's a butcher, he has sixteen knives (...) my best friend's from Poland and um, he has a beard "
Cheers from poland :)
This is Great and should be the official video.
From Out of Nowhere. Faith No More
NO MORE WORDS NEEDED
Sounds nothing like it.. can you add more words? :)

Interpol would be honored....GREAT JOB! ! ! !
It fits in perfectly with all the other Interpol videos
You guys did such an amazing job with this video...It captures the whole feel of the song perfectly...Well done!

Copenhagen is where I am right now listening to this song 😍
Very cool video thanks! 👍🏻
Give this guy a budget. Seriously good work.
Wow good job! :D this is awesome, if I hadn't read the description I would have thought of it as the official video.
+Keiko Saito if i hadn´t read your comment I wouldn´t have read the description and, would have thought of it as the official video
+Veronica Reyes Rueda if I hadn't read your comme... oh, stop, I'm a Russian, have no brains enough to read The Language of Freedom.
I really like how you interpreted the song’s narrative. Great work!
Excellent video. Awesome band. Five stars and a fav~
Guys, fans, recommend me please something similar to listen. Just found about this band, it's gold. Such a shame I didn't heard about them before >_
Alexey IMO, there's not a lot of bands that sound similar to Interpol. They're very unique. Try listening to Joy Division and The Rapture.
Thanks friend, great recommendation! ;)
Alexey I just listened to a band called "New Politicians". Dunno too much about them, but they share the same wave, and this is fucking amazing!
Great found buddy! Sounds really similar and good!
Alexey Editors are probably the band they get compared to the most. Also try Franz Ferdinand, White Lies, Bloc Party, Cinematics. Personally I love all of those bands.
That was amazing!!! This should be the official video for sure!!!
Love this song. Listen to it everyday. Want to see the upcoming show in Oakland. If I only had a friend.

The floating coat and guy in the air were great, excellent video.

Glad to see this video back!!

Oh my, this is great, fits with the song perfectly! Fantastic effects, you better have gotten a good grade on that project! :) bad-freakin-ass, the song AND the video! ^_^
