One moment I'll never forget is Johnny Gargano watching The Fiend's first entrance and how he just seemed completely in awe even though all the other wrestlers around him were talking and not paying attention. Windham Rotunda was truly a gifted individual
Haha. This reminds me of a time when Gargano and Theory I think watched Karrion Kross's debut on NXT. After that super intense crescendo with the red lights and the music, the camera just cuts to Gargano and Theory like 😳
I'm gonna miss that guy, he's got the whole world in his hands, he's got the whole wide world in his hands, he's got the whole world in his hands, he's got the whole world in his hands 🙏🏾🕊🕊🕊🕊❤️❤️❤️
Hey Bunny! Another great video. One of my favorite things about “The Fiend” personally was the work that he did with Alexa Bliss. I loved the whole process of them creating a “Joker and Harley” style type duo. I think you should check out her transformation into her current character.
Basically, there’s a ppv almost every month. The one following Mania has been called many things over the years. Backlash is the most prominent one that comes to mind.
Bray was loved and appreciated by many, but one old man refused to give him the rub he deserved. Vince is the reason why he never beat Taker, and why he also lost against Goldberg when he used the Fiend gimmick, effectively killing it.
He was one of the best ever as far as character development and work. He had a brilliant mind for the wrestling business and pretty much all his characters and work were all him. He created the characters and everything. To give you a hint of his brilliance and storytelling, look up a video promo called "The Man in the Woods" promo. In it, he tells a creepy story about a man, or creature, in the woods, and the story is about him ultimately being that man, or creature. That man, or creature he referred to in the story, was The Fiend. And the thing to keep in mind is, that promo aired a few years before we ever actually saw The Fiend character. He basically gave us a premonition of what was coming years later.
Bray was a beast. And he has made a legendary character, one of the most captivating characters ever. Especially these tramendus storylines he had with many wrestlers in WWE, it's so amazing how far he really came ever since his NXT days. My favorite is when he went against John Cena that was so legendary. R.I.P. Bray 🙏❤️
My favorite Bray Wyatt moment was his fiend debut against Finn Balor and his firefly funhouse episodes.. I know i wasn't only one who watched RAW just for them and also waited for more
When bray what started the bray what character I was a masive fan when I found out he died I was so sad I bearly slept he did lots for wwe and his fans he signed my feind mask and poster and also my drawing of him I had every bray what figure and ever since he passed every time I looked at the figure I got sad
I was at Windham's WrestleMania 33 match, it was the only Bray Wyatt match I saw in-person. I don't think it needs a reaction, but watch the Peacock documentary "Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal ". It's narrated by Mark "The Undertaker" Calaway and there's a special surprise after the credits at the very end.
Bray was the guy who brought me back to watching WWE. His promos were so amazing and cryptic he could have read a menu and captivate people. Had to watch every week but WWE never gave him a great storyline. He was a cult leader who couldn't keep new members and an unstoppable monster who lost his first match. There was soo much potential that WWE didn't use. That's why I loved Parts Funknown Adam who does rebooking videos. Image cult leader Bray building an army.
I think Bray Wyatt brought me back to wrestling and what it used to be like creativity fun awesome storylines interesting characters when he passed away it sucks cuz we'll never get the fiend again the Bray Wyatt version hope Bo Dallas debuts this Saturday or Sunday as Uncle howdy or whatever character he wants to be that'll be freaking awesome❤
Payback doesn't have a gimmick like for example Royal Rumble, War Games or Elimination Chamber. But it's histroically a show that comes after Wrestlemania and tends to be a mix of fresh new feuds and a continuation of some wrestlemania feuds, hence the name.
Bray was one of my favourite superstars, I always loved those supernatural characters, WWE really did Bray dirty in his career, but it was heartbreaking hearing he passed away. That moment with Taker will always be the one of the best moments
For me personally, Bray was the wrestler who made me come back to watch WWE over and over again. Everything he did, every segment or promo he did, attracted attention and I wanted to know what would happen next. When he disappeared from the screens in 2023, I could not imagine that something so tragic would happen. R.I.P. Windham Rotunda, you will never be forgotten.
I wish WWE did for Bray what they did for Eddie and put him in the Hall of Fame shortly after his death. He was definitely one of the great minds in wrestling.
They was going to but it was decided by wwe and the family that it was too soon after the passing, emotions still haven't settled yet and wwe didn't want to add to the stress for windhams family, most likely he will go in next year :)
My wife and I were at the Wyatt Family's first appearance on television. We were lucky in that it happened in our city, and we could afford tickets to that event. July 8, 2013 in Baltimore, MD.... The Wyatt Family wreaked havoc, even putting a beat down on Kane (one of my favorites at the time). I probably have pictures on my Facebook page of that night. It was a blast. Also, my sister has a puppy that her female dog gave birth to, that is intended for my wife and I, and in memory of Wyatt, we are naming the puppy "Bray". Such a shame that he died so young. He had such a creative mind, and a bright future ahead of him. However, his brother (Bo Dallas, who played as Uncle Howdy just prior to Bray's passing) has been publishing videos on RUclips, that indicate that he may be returning to WWE, and keeping Bray's memory alive.
Tommy End, who went by Aleister Black in WWE and goes by Malakai Black in AEW. He could be the next Undertaker or Bray Wyatt. He’s an amazing talent, very dark and creative, and amazing in the ring. You should watch some of his stuff. His NXT run was legendary. Bray will always be missed. He was a special, once in a life time talent. His stuff didn’t always land but he was always trying to innovate and so much of his stuff was awesome!
I remember that I commented something bad about him a couple of days before he died. He was not seen for a long time in WWE and I said it was all because of his ego and that he should not come back. When he died my comment got a lot of angry responses naturally. I didn't delete my comment but I answered it for others to see that how I regret what I said now and how we always talk badly about them without knowing their personal life or health condition and this was a lesson for me about it and how to speak when I know nothing about things. My comments and replies are still visible on Instagram. I said what I said and I regret it. I didn't know Bray was sick. Now i know better. RIP...
Wrestlemania, Royal Rumble, Money in the Bank, elimination chamber, survivor series and Summerslam are the only events that you know for a fact that you get every year, plus Crown Jewel I guess for as long as WWE's contract with Saudi Arabia lasts. Payback, Backlash, Extreme Rules, TLC, Fastlane and other events are more in rotation in and out depending on the year. The one right after Wrestlemania has been Backlash in recent years, it's an event without any special gimmicks tied to it. There's an event most months, last few years december has been the only month without one as far as I remember.
I'll be honest. I love Bray Wyatt and appreciate his creativity. However, alot of the times his stuff, especially during his last run was incomprehensible and failed to make sense. I got behind it in the beginning and my mind changed in the end.
Backlash is normally the show after Wrestlemania. In recent years has been given the full name Wrestlemania Backlash. But in Money in the Bank has well
I just watched the Bray Wyatt documentary and it was the saddest thing I’ve ever watched. It’s so tragic he died so young. He was so artistic with endless amounts of ideas in his head. Nobody had anything bad to say about him
Man, over half a year later, it still feels surreal to think Bray is gone. Even more sadly, he wasn't the only one of his Wyatt Family group to pass on. Back in 2020, his buddy Luke Harper (who was performing at AEW under the name Brody Lee) died from illness not even a full year after his debut at the new company. And just like with Bray, the news came right out of nowhere, too. AEW actually aired a tribute show in Brody's honor after the news broke, which was nice. I think it was rumored that Bray's shaky WWE attendance over the years leading to his death was partly because he was depressed about Brody's passing. Well, at least the both of them are reunited now..... RIP, guys. 😔
The PLE after Wrestlemania is Usually where the losers at Mania try to get their win(revengence) back from either their feud or 1 final attempt to get the championship back from said feud. if the loser loses again, its back of the line they go in terms of championship opportunities.
WWE has PPVs (they mainly now call them PLEs cause they stream everything on Peacock the last few years) every single month, sometimes twice a month. Wrestlemania is just the biggest PPV, like the Super Bowl but they still have PPVs every month and any championship and any star can wrestle at any of the PPVs. Mania (around early April every year), Summerslam (usually August), Royal Rumble (January), Survivor Series (November) are considered the “The Big Four” PPVs since they go back to the 80’s and between 1985 and 1995 were the only four WWE had every year before going to the every month model they have had since 1995. Those four are also usually where the bigger stories and matches take place so they are considered bigger. Money in the Bank usually in June or July has been pretty much the fifth big PPV now. The original Big Five PPVs included King of the Ring which stopped being a PPV in 2002.
Me too I hope karrion will do great in wwe but to do that he needs to do something big that will get him over or have him got back to the way he was his entrance was when he was in NXT and all that stuff he needs to win a lot of matches. That’s what he needs hopefully him, and AOP wins at wrestlemania and they become more popular or darker if it happens
because as of right now, he is not doing well I don’t blink Triple H it’s just it’s just the way that like the crowd is that’s all maybe that’s why he had to do very well in WWE who knows
Actually, fans always criticized how WWE used the Bray Wyatt character, whether they knew it or not: all his returns, novelty matches and segments were followed by a huge hype, but unfortunately WWE's conservative storytelling didn't know what to do with Rotunda's bursts of creativity, so they let him go and then screwed everything over. You should have noticed how for years his rivalries started because he casually attacked someone, then rambled about something unintelligible, then won/lost and forward to the next random enemy. To make things worse, because of this wacky character, WWE used him to make fans-beloved wrestlers lose important matches by making Bray interfere, although he had absolutely nothing going on with them, just to start rivalries. The toxic heat was a predictable outcome (he received X-Pac heat, which means it wasn't the usual heat fans have agaisnt a villanous character, but the actual performer received heat whatever he did). To his detriment, he never was a great technical wrestler, so once the storytelling was completely screwed, he literally had nothing to work with in his matches. It's really a shame his health problems and passing came when WWE finally seemed to understand how to book him, clearly leaving him more creative freedom in writing his own character and putting together the storylines with other wrestlers. There still were some shitty outcomes (like Goldberg squashing the Fiend in 3 minutes, when he was at the top of his status), but things were mostly going the right way and fans were finally acknowledging his ebullient genius mind. He would not only have the legendary career he deserved, but he would've been probably head of creative once he decided to retire. Such a tragic loss.
Nowadays, it's Backlash that comes after WrestleMania. It's usually one month after. And this year it's in France so you won't have to stay up that late to watch it ;)
Alright. A few things and answers. No. Just cause he had a BabyFace look. Honestly didn't want to see Bray Wyatt as a face. He was a beloved heel. Other than WrestleMania, which has an extra month before it happens. The rest of the PPV's(PLE's) occur once a month. Payback is just the the ppv title. It has nothing to do with winning back titles. It was just a name given to the ppv, cause its payback for whatever mania match it was. Just like it was Backlash, before it was changed to Payback. No. It was great that Daniel Bryan got away from being in the Wyatt Family. Fans were asking so much for Daniel Bryan to win the Rumble and to main event, WrestleMania. And WWE wasn't listening at the time. I was one that isn't afraid to admit, I was not a fan of the original Fiend gimmick and Firefly House gimmick. That last match with LA Knight was actually not an easy match to watch. Literally was difficult to watch cause it was under a blacklight. Even on tv. Sad that was his last match. Closet wrestler or gimmick to a Taker or Fiend right now, is maybe The Demon when Finn Balor gets into that gimmick. Check out Finn Balor's evolution next. He is so talented, and has a long history. Thanks again for the fun reaction. Keep it up. Doing well, for only watching wrestling more often for a full year.
Backlash is the first PPV after Wrestlemania. Quite often, it is the Wrestlemania revenge show with a lot of rematches. In recent years though, it has been used to kick off new feuds.
Hopefully, Bo Dallas, his younger brother, will reinvent himself as Bo Wyatt and unite with Braun Strowman and Erick Rowan to reestablish The Wyatt Family 2.0, continuing Bray's legacy.
I think you mean, uncle howdy he was never as bo Wyatt I think you meant to say, was hopefully his brother Bo can continue his brother Bray Wyatt legacy by being reinvent himself back into uncle howdy I think you missed spelled just letting you know about that I hope you thank me for that also Bo Dallas doesn’t have a younger brother he only had Bray as his brother and I don’t think they’re gonna be as Wyatt family 2.0. I think they’re gonna all be together as the Wyatt six I think that’s what you meant
Yes it's a shame that Bray was getting a lot of flack during the last year of his career. He was introducing a new character that wasn't clicking with the audience. But he reportedly was at least not that upset by it or anything.
More specifically he was named Windham in honor of his uncle, Barry Windham, his mother's brother and best friend and former tag team partner of his father Mike Rotunda in the 80s where they wrestled as the U.S. Express.
His The Wyatt Family partner Luke Harper aka Brodie Lee in AEW also passed away 3 years before him. RIP to both of them.
Such a tragic loss for the wrestling community.
One moment I'll never forget is Johnny Gargano watching The Fiend's first entrance and how he just seemed completely in awe even though all the other wrestlers around him were talking and not paying attention. Windham Rotunda was truly a gifted individual
Really showed how little everyone else in that room cares about pro wrestling.
Yeah, that and X-Pac's reaction to the end of the Hell In a Cell match against Rollins. He spoke for all the fans that day

Hi
Yes it's a shame that Bray was getting a lot of flack during the last year of his career. He was introducing a new character that wasn't clicking with the audience. But he reportedly was at least not that upset by it or anything.
Firefly fun house reaction ❤

Windham is probably an odd name. its not short for something...when he was born his parents gave him the name after her maiden name.
More specifically he was named Windham in honor of his uncle, Barry Windham, his mother's brother and best friend and former tag team partner of his father Mike Rotunda in the 80s where they wrestled as the U.S. Express.
