After performing on BGT, he did not win. Then he got a golden buzzer for his audition on AGT singing Sound of Silence. Love him!

Tom Ball has one of the biggest if not the biggest followings of anyone that didn't actually win AGT or BGT as he has been on both.
That high note he hit was a D5 and he didn't go into Falsetto for it.
Thank you for show casing this fabulous young man who is going to become a super star, he has no ego and was a teacher before appearing on BGT and AGT. He won neither show which shocked many people. His health is fragile but he doesn't let it get in the way.
The English version of this song was first recorded by Ben E. King in 1963. Tom Jones had a very popular version in 1970. Many others have also recorded it .
He was discovered on Britain's Got Talent. This is a Tom Jones cover. He may have won the season.
Unfortunately Tom has never won though he has been on the shows multiple times. Including as Noodle the Cat.

Tom Ball just released a version of Stand By Me yesterday in line with Mental Health Awareness Week. There is a choir with him for BV's. Great reaction as always. BTW Teddy Swims released a a new song "Apple Juice" either yesterday or the day before it. I think you'd have to be six years dead to not move to that one. Take care all.

Absolutely beautiful well executed I see this young man going very far. Hopefully, he stays as independent as he can. The song was written by David Foster in 1992. It was originally sang by Whitney Houston for the bodyguard movie.
Actually, David Foster wrote a song called I Have Nothing, a totally different song from this one.
