He WAS recognised. There is nothing "only" about third place given how many people auditioned. In another year he would have won, but they've had a lot of singers win over the years and it was time for another type of talent to be recognised.

I absolutely agree, but sometimes it's better to not come in first place because you end up being confined for the next year by a contract to the 1st place winners position. He will for sure go far from this point. He has been introduced to the world and for sure he will soon enter into the path of fulfilling his dreams to be a singer.
