Azure Rathalos in this quest will either help you, or kill you in the process. Maybe a bit of both. That's how my hunt went. Brach, Rath, and I were in an all-out battle royale.

While it by no means looks easy, it does seem toned down since 3 and 4, in those it was enraged every other minute.
The blasted thing never shut up and that sprint they gave to the g rank brachy in 4 was insane, you could never assume your were out of it's range.

I already fought the Brachydios, but there’s this move he does that’s so funny to me. When he pounds the ground several times in a row while walking. I literally almost died because I kept laughing. And my friend, whom I was on the phone with, was so confused. So I want to show her this video if he does said move. I’m only about 5-7 minutes in right now.

Yeah, I almost consider the lack of interest there a slight fail as a hunter.
you wont get materials from that...carved it and all it had on it were Monster Bone S' like the Radobaan that gets mauled by Tigrex

For me during this quest this Azure Rathalos kept on showing up just to fight the Brachydios and I didn’t even want to dung pod it because it was actually helping

One thing I notice about Brachydios's roars is that he sounded like a pig, a triceratops from Jurassic park operation when he was about to leap and sometimes a styracosaurus also in jurassic park operation

This monster probably has the most kills in mh large monster roster in cutscenes. Agnaktor, uragaan, lavasioth, and probably others I have not seen yet.

Fighting in Monster Hunters is like boxing. Your opponents mostly rely on their brute force, so most fights have you dodging and weaving until they get exhausted from over attacking. Then you hit them when they are super tired.

Wait, you can move while drinking a potion? That cancels out some of the challenge and frankly, changes the nature of the game, ditto the XP. I am still playing Tri on the Wii which is why I did not know you could move while healing. My computer can't run MHW, hence still on Tri. Brachydios looks OP.
World/Iceborne is the easyest Monster Hunter currently, but its still fun.^^

the only thing that killed me in this fight was azure rathalos (twice) lol
All I can think is to gear up to resist the blast gel, meanwhile it's attack rate makes for a dodgey situation (no, I literally could not get a hit in on the first encounter.)
I got destroyed so bad in my first tigrex fight I had to learn a whole new weapon to beat him.
