I almost cried watching this one. My son is autistic and the reason I do cards “full time” so I can be more available for him. Great episode and great young man! I love my son’s passion for space and trains, and hope he gets the passion for cards so we can do this business together someday! I have shared this with my family as an example of how wonderful my son will grow up to be with love and support!
I am also with the majority in saying this is by far my favorite episode. It struck me both in the Hobby sense and my heart...this person is what the Hobby is all about, the pure joy and the chase. I have watched this episode about a half a dozen times now! I know Mikey personally, so watching this makes me happy. My husband is a collector and he enjoys sharing his cards/stories with Mikey. Ty, I have been watching this since the beginning and this is by far the best episode you all have done. My son is six and is autistic. He loves collecting cards with me and it gives him peace with the organizing and the chase. I appreciate your kindness to him and I totally agree that the 51 is the true rookie. I finally got mine at the last national after 30 years so I know what he is feeling. That will be handed down to my son and I look forward to sharing this episode with him when he is a little older so he knows there as so many like him who love to collect.

Mikey is amazing...he has so many good ideas about collecting. Mad respect for his honesty about his autism. I have a younger friend who is autistic and he is very self aware as well and puts me at ease when talking to him.
I don't subscribe to many of the sports cards channels but this episode touched me deep down in my heart and brought a smile to my face so I had to hit the subscription button!
My mom I’m is an autism teacher and I have worked with some of her kids……this became one of my favorite episodes. Not a lot of people understand or have the patience for people with autism and your interaction with Mikey is amazing! It honestly felt like you two have been friends for years! Mikey, you’re an amazing young man and you make me love this hobby even more!

Love this episode. As the parent of an autistic child who collects cards, it is great to see another young, neurodiverse individual who enjoys the hobby.
Great episode, knowing what I know of Autism, it is why I will always admire coach Gene Stallings as he was on the board for disability resources out of Abilene Texas. When I was a teenager my dad had just retired from the military and went to work for them. Their work in helping early adults with autism was amazing. Thanks for helping Mickey, and I guarantee he can tell you all about the numbers on certain players. Blessings

Wow Ty, amazing episode. First off the filming and editing on your videos is really professional. And the getting a glimpse into the circus world, who would have thunk that. Great story with Mikey and you getting him talk about it. But the very best part was when you kidded about cutting the video about Mike Moynihan being his greatest influencer, funny.
Mikey did a great job collecting and trading up his collection. He is probably a good outlet as a reseller of some of you middle to lower value card volume. I hope you will feed him cards from your large collection purchases that need the volume quickly addressed to cut down on storage. Good luck getting the Mantle at a fair price Mikey.
Great episode. As an collector and an educator, I appreciate you bringing attention not just to Mikey, but also to autism. Even though we have learned much about autism to date, it is still a very misunderstood condition. We will never know everything that Mikey has had to deal with and overcome, but your episode allowed us to connect with a true collector. Awesome episode for sure. Now I have been doing card's since the later 70s. The 51 Bowman is his True Rookie card. Since Topps didn't put out Regular sized card until 52 then it's just his Topps Rookie card for 1952.
