im sorry for ur loss. i kinda feel you.
i used my fav lure today (15g ) and i forgot to turn the lock off and my drag was set too high, so when i swung it tried to throw very far but my line couldnt go and it got snapped :( all i saw was my fav lure flying like 20 m or smth

I want to add probably a small tip which worked for me at times that if it stuck in the rock , try to change the angle and switch the rocks left or right where you are standing and tried the same as you did .Probably the chances are more i did multiple times and it works.

First thing I do when stuck is too open the bail to allow some slack. Sometimes the hooks will just fall away and you can reel it back.

Yes, that's what I do too. Also, if it's only somewhat rocky, I take off the treble and replace it with inline eye single hooks.

Awesome video and information. I'll have to try it next time. Mine if I ask what rod your using? I have a 7'6" edge rod work good with ½Oz but 1oz is a little rough to play with. Don't know if needing a longer rod in order to play better with the 1oz or so? Thanks bud!

Thanks, I always start with smaller softbaits 1,6-2” and increase if I need to find big fish. Paddle tails or twister tail is best choice to search for fish.

Сергей Ивлев если речь идёт об индийском океане там каменных выступов мало, поэтому ловить с берега плетеночку потоньше, заброс подальше и без рыбы не останетесь
