- hehe really bad name for a villian team, but they are quite popular in the x-men series.
They are the personal strike force of X-Men and X-Factor nemesis Mister Sinister. The Nasty Boys can be distinguished from the Marauders, who were a group of mercenaries brought together by Mister Sinister to specifically kill the Morlocks.

I always felt unsatisfied at how Wolverine constantly showed off his claws but never actually used them on anyone that wasn't a robot or the like XD
Becuase it's a kids cartoon. He would obviously slice them apart, and they can't show that. Hence why Wolverine is only seen attacking robots..

Well, being that most of his power is taking a beating, it would make sense that his role in the X-Men is tanking.

To all those who are talking about how much wolverine gets tossed, it's cause unless he's fighting machines, there'd be nothing but a bloody mess of everyone he ACTUALLY fights. Not really gonna fly saturday mornin'. They use his healing factor as an excuse in the show to just mercilessly toss him around.

Gimp is relative. Wolverine’s healing factor beat this show’s version of the Legacy Virus. He survives freezing in the arctic water. And that gouging to the ribs that didn’t heal fast was from a version of Sabertooth strong enough to lift and fling a police car into the air.
yeah you are correct... heroes have a code to not hurt even the bad guy TOO much... although DEADPOOL is challenging that code lol
I will always disagree with this. There were other ways for him to beat his adversaries even if he couldn't use his claws with lethal effect. Kicks, throws (he is an expert in Japanese martial arts), body slams, head butts, flying and jumping kicks. There were a lot of things they could've done to not have him get his read end kicked so much. Why they did it this way has no rational or logical explanation period and it was an ugly thing to do. You can't make such a cool character and then have him get beat up 90% of the fights he engages in.
I really like the part where Beast was quoting Alfred Lord Tennyson , also I really Miss Peter David and Larry Stroman`s Nasty Boys . to me this was an Fun team of Bad guys seem like a Motley Crew who look like they step out of the eighties .

Mr. Sinister had everything you can ask for in a villain. Intimidating look, the voice, powerful henchmen, nefarious intentions, etc. He’s the only one who truly felt like a true villain to me even more than Apocalypse until the Beyond Good and Evil four part episode then Apocalypse took it to another level of evil 👿
Heck he even made morph evil.

They cancelled The Gambit solo film, the villains in that movie would have been Mister Sinister and his Marauders. Gambit would need help because he can't fight an entire army by himself.
Low key one of the best fights.
That fight in the season 2 finale though. When Morph broke the power inhibitor and everyone started posing and posting up because they got their powers back 🔥

I love how Sinister was the one guy Cyclops was NOT fucking around with. I mean he blew CHUNKS out of the guy, green blood, yeah, but still.
Despite the fact everyone who grew up watching this amazing animated series wanted Wolverine to just kick ass all the time, good writers know that the series is team based. Throwing Wolverine under a bus now and again to for character development of the other X-Men is something that was lost upon the cinematic films we all paid so much money in popcorn and nachos to watch.
Besides. He gets up anyway. At least in the cartoon. I grew up with this series. That and Batman animated and Spider-Man. They don't make them like they used to.
Loved the film Logan too. Wolverine is just too iconic of a character to keep out. $$$ and $$$$.

I'm just rolling my eyes wondering when some of them are going to get mopped the floor in the stupidest way possible.
Like sometimes they have the complete upperhand, and they get the idiot ball and drop like flies.
Sometimes it makes me wonder how they get so good at smack talk when all they do is lose the whole episode.
Mind you, the X-Men do win at the end, but it's mostly due to the plot letting them.
I think they straight up win in a pure mutant power fight like 3-4 times in the entire show.
This is nonsense. They could've developed the other characters just as well without having Wolverine getting his ass kicked all the time. One has absolutely nothing to do with the other. It was completely pointless and I can only suspect some bias from the producers against the character. Maybe because he is Canadian...

Nick Mattio Not quite. They have different powers and have been banned from concerts for those reasons. Ruckus can never appear at a heavy metal concert again because his scream can damage eardrums (and property). Hairbag is the one that got banned only for health reasons due to his raging halitosis and tendency to get parasitic arthropods (fleas, lice, ticks, etc.).
This cartoon was awesome and the fact that more of died after getting stepped on by a giant Sentinel is unbelievable! And they kept him dead for a long time

The Mr. Sinister and Apocalypse are episodes really made this show shine. I always found the Magneto episodes to be boring.. I actually like the version of Magneto better from that one off kitty pride episode which Konami based their arcade game from. That Magneto definitely seemed more like a "villian"

Love the show, let me say that up front. Never noticed it as a kid but now that I'm older I can't help but notice wolverine never uses his claws on anything but robots. There's a lot of kicking and throwing in this show in general, and not alot of punches by anyone.
