The day Morph rejoins the X-Men, terrorists attack a top-secret, high-tech weapons factory; the alert interrupts his homecoming party. Morph and Wolverine investigate and discover that the Sentinels are back. Morph hesitates to fight the Sentinels and has a flashback of getting shot by a Sentinel. Eventually, he overcomes his fear and defeats them, but he leaves the X-Men in the end, saying he's not ready yet.
Thank you all for the correct name of the villain. Video title has been changed.
Morph single handedly just saved every Xmen, killed the sentinels that were beating them to snot, AND killed the master mold with a rock. I have a new favorite XMen.
I wonder why didnt storm just use the wind to blow those rocks off of her?
Too easy lol
Too bad Morph died in that series.
@@diongeorge5737 The world may never know lol
@@jayworldjs lol You’re aware of the episode chronology, right?
It's decades later, and Gyrich and Trask haven't learned a damn thing.
Yeah, I thought Trask would stop rebuilt Master Molder after It went rogue
@matthewk122 sigh 😕 some people just don't know when to let it go, my friends, people like gyrich and Trask are the prime example of bigotry and greed, and I thought for sure that they learned from this experience. But nope.
So true
Well, the latest episode provides an explanation for Trask atleast.
Yes. Just like the Terminator movies, an artificial intelligent would one day be reprogrammed itself and have plans on its own: eliminating mankind from our selfish, stupid, irresponsible mistakes.
This is Morph finest hour him conquering his fear as an X-men.
Well the fear of Sentinels, Sinister is still a work in progress.
@@Hartzilla2007 One fear at the time.
Professor X: you are mad master mold.
Master mold: a machine can not be mad, that is a humans failing

I like how Morph turned into Longshot when Master Mold grew Mojo legs.

Well thanks for your reply to my comment to The Dark Thunder ⚡ here ya, Matt Walsh-2901...😊👍!
Morph may be a joker and class clown but here came through BIG, and was the reluctant hero. He saved the team and faced one of his biggest fears. Considering he was suffering from major PTSD, he managed to pull it together long enough to save his friends. Very inspiring and heroic. Good on him.
Everyone: “Morph sucks!”
Morph, 1:55 while eating cashews: “Here...hold my nuts.”
Take that "Morph: Crappiest X-Men"! Morph kicked all kinds of ass here!
They attempted to kill him off permanently but he returned due to an unexpected popularity
@TheSapphireDragon1 She was the Damsel-in-Distress for the series. This was intentional. In the comics, she's anywhere from A-Ranked Powerhouse to Planetbuster or higher, depending on the incarnation and plot. So, I'd say she's either the worst, or doesn't count, as she was never meant to be a true Combatant in the series.
He kicked Wolverines ass
He was more useful than Jean.
@@krisfrederick5001 only because Wolverine didn't wanna hurt him that time
Morph kicked all the Sentinel ass. One of my favorite fight scenes from the franchise!
1:40 Keep in mind: She's claustrophobic.
Regardless of that phobia, I think anyone would want to saved from a ton rocks that had crushed them
Storm's hysterical cry for help with her hand flailing got me LMAO hahahaba

Yeah, any sentient being can be mad, organic or robot. ^^
A.M. would demolish Master Module.
IIIJFRIII shut up! He was trolling!!! Lmao!!!
2:39, the original version showed Morph having flashbacks of when he was injured by the sentinels and appearing to freeze up before he took Mastermold out.
Holy shit Morph is like the most powerful mutant I've ever seen!
LOVE this change. He was under-utilized in the first season!
You must not have met Charles Xavier, Apocalypse, Jean Grey or Magneto.
@@HetLedie >Jean Grey
Coulda fooled me if this show has anything to say about that.
@@HetLedie "Jean Grey". The most useless X-men ever...
@@glorfindeldebeers1055 WRONG, dude. I'm referring to the Jean Grey who was possessed by the Dark Phoenix. She devoured the energy of a star, causing a super nova which killed all the inhabitants of the nearby D'Bari star system. And even without the Phoenix Force to back her up Jean Grey is now one the strongest telepaths in the Marvel universe second only to Charles Xavier.
“A machine can not be mad Professor. That is a human feeling.”
'human failing'.
Has he not met Ultron?!
One of the coolest sequences of animation to watch from the series.
Morph and wolverine were always my two favorites

Morph was doing good against the Sentinels.
but Morph has an actual.phobia against the Sentinels as he was killed by them in season1.
in season 2, Mr. Sinister resurrects an evil version of him.

Too bad morph never went against mystique. Would have been an interesting fight. :)
morph seems more powerful, no? His shape changes included size alterations I've never seen Mystique achieve.
I wanted to see them 69 each other
@@brandonsavitski HAHA! That's some freaky shit!
similar to when Martian Manhunter fight his counterpart (whatever his name is);
when they shapeshift, such an interesting dynamic/fight.
Morph had the Danger Room, but I'm taking Mystique in that fight all day long lol. Since they can both shapeshift, it's coming down to an MMA fight... So, yea..
What I liked about this episode with morph is that he did a lot of Fan-service by putting other X-men action figures that were released during that time :) Also it is notable that Morph was a very talented but comical character on the "age of apocalypse" storyline in the comic books.
0:48 Said the giant robot head, who's obsessed with destroying all mutants.
1:21 - Nice and subtle call-back to the comics - Storm's claustrophobia.
Morph did a superb job.
I vaguely remember watching this as a kid and thinking how Morph is by far the most powerful mutant in the whole show. Watching this again, I think the same thing - Morph appears to be virtually omnipotent.
People have to remember that at the time the concept of Omega Mutants (such as Iceman, Storm and Magneto) was only hinted at, and we assumed Phoenix was a temporary threat. So yeah, Morph's abilities appear limitless in this scene.
Who knew Morph could adopt the skill set of the person he morphs into. Including lone stars accuracy. XD
kinda makes him superior to Mystique since she can only imitate appearances
Yes this bugged me for years lol. He should be able to turn into something that can fly using wings, something that is strong because it’s big etc. Not specific people lol.
@@Doodle52 Kinda makes it sh*t writing, if you ask me. It introduces so many plot holes, the most important being "How the hell did he get injured by the Sentinels in the first place if he can do all this?"

Morph's redemption and comeback was one of the greatest moments in the series, and it really showed the potential of his skills and versatility!

Master mold you're terminated.
Sentinels and Master Mold used to scare the crap out of me. Still kinda do.
Morph is the best! He's my favorite xmen. I would like to have his ability for sure!
***** Fuck yeah he gets their powers too!!
yarcharr guildwars yup he is even way better than mystic. People just don't know he is way better than they think. But he is awesome!
While Morph has the ability to shape shift and become any character,he doesn't get their powers, the only power he gets are the physical ones. For example he can morph into Wolverine and use his claws but he can't heal.If he morphs into Jean,Magneto,Rogue and many others then he wouldn't had any power except appearance. If he morphs into physical base characters the he has their full power,Angel would be the perfect example also mutants like blob, toad, beast and so on.
mariusss95 I think he's more creative than mystique
Morph becomes more prominent during the Age of Apocalypse in the Comic Books. His Ultimate evolution involves him being a tutor to Proteus(Moira's Son and Omega level reality bending Mutant) where their powers merged to the point he can transform and be that person.
And that’s how a shape shifter kicks major butt.
Wow i didn't really think Morph was that bad ass but rewatching this clip i'm still amazed how he was on another level in this particular fight and i'm guessing his morphing abilities are much stronger than Mystique's power set and at the end of this epic battle Morph didn't really need Storm's help to fly away and escape lmao.
My question is how Morph knew about those other mutants when he never even met them.
He likely learnt about them while training with the X-Men. Prof X has a huge database on almost all mutants.
Also, sometimes the X-Men fight against holographic projections of other mutants in the war room as part of their training.
So Morph would be familiar with what they look like and what powers they had.
@@nicholaslawrence6926 Guess you’re right… 😑
Somehow, i loved the 90s animated series’ depiction of the sentinels which the movies didn’t gave justice.
dont get me wrong, i loved DOFP sentinels- they were OP.
but i wish there were weaker versions of the Sentinels that the mutants could take out just b4 they cal in the OP ONES.
That way they can see how hopeless situation really is.
So wait a minute why is everyone surprised Morph can shapeshift into other characters and have their physical abilities when he did it in the original cartoon?
He never did in night of sentinels which baffles me.
I thought insaw allnthebepisodes when i was a kid inliterally never saw this

One of Master Mold's best lines; "A machine cannot be mad, professor. That is a human feeling." The way he says it is so casual and calm.
Morph was a one man army holy crap.
And Morph was the only one could make Wolverine laugh.
Too bad he was never in the live action movies.
Turning into Incredible Hulk had me wilin' though
Why not become the Hulk in EVERY fight?? Lol
Other than being an boring easy win button I mean
morph is pretty badass here.
Great teamwork, everyone!
Uhm, why was Jean Grey even on this mission?
For moral support! 😂
They need to bring Morph and Master Mold back (same voice actors also) in the new X-Men Disney+ continuation. Just say Master Mold is uploaded to the cloud and they only destroyed his physical build.
The actor that voiced the sentinels and Master Mold died in November.
@@ZealKingdom Damn didn't know that... Had a great voice for it.
They brought Morph back, but now he is cisgender and has pronouns. they also will include a female Wolverina and Cyclops. And that is only the beginning, all the classic 90s marve, shows are being brought back with a modern woke treatment. And no, I am not joking... I wish I was joking...
@KRN02_92
Morph is cisgender in this scene, has pronouns in this scene (the words you're looking for is "they're making them nonbinary and I'm an idiot), "female Wolverine" (Laura Kinney, X-23 and briefly Wolverine during James "Logan/Wolverine" Howlett's death) has been a beloved character for 20 years, and the entire X-men are an allegory for oppressed minorities opposing the institutional hatred that threatens them every day. This rather overtly includes Queer identities, especially Trans ones.
Congrats, you grew up to be on the side of the Sentinels as a bigoted, reactionary piece of shit.
@@KRN02_92 They've had female Wolverine for years: X-23. And Morph is a shapeshifter so him CHANGING SEX is literally his power, so of course he's probably going to have a different idea of what sex and gender means for someone like him.
Stay fucking mad and don't watch.
Morph pulled a monster hunter
Morph could have transformed into Apocalypse. Now that would be something.
I've always thought Morph can only copy physical form and not the abilities. But I think this is the only episode where he showcased what he can actually do.
He can copy wings, claws, tentacles, etc. since those are natural body parts, but he shouldn’t have been able to copy Sasquatch’s strength or Longshot’s agility.
@@shadowdramon01 adrenaline is a hell of a drug
@@shadowdramon01 Actually, he can copy Sasquatch's power, because it's a characteristic of his body, just as he can copy Colossus's durability.

2:16 ARCHANGEL!!!!!!!!!
2:26 LONGSHOT!!!!!!!!!
Oh man...such an old ass video uploaded Nov.2011, it just reminded me that I use to own X-Men cards. The ones where there were foil versions. Oh man I feel so old.
I wish they bring him back.
HOOOOLY SHIT i remember morph because he was uncle's favorite xmen character and outta nowhere he turns into OMEGA RED one of my fav comic characters period. ahhhh good times, by the way nimrod the scarlet sentinel says hello.

The claws were also much more fragile, as Wolverine showed once, easily cutting apart Morph's imitations.
oh look, 1:16 jean immediately being useless lol
Master Mold had some funny lines in this show
This is one of my favorite episodes, this aired on my birthday!!! And Morph is one of my favorite characters
When we saw this at home watching Morph shapeshifting facing his fear we said, “Go Morph! Go!”
Despite the Fact that Master Mold is supposed to be voiced by David Fox, he REALLY Sounds like Tom Baker in this.
I learned it's actually Nigel Bennet from Forever Knight, LEXX. I like to think of this voice change as is missing the fusion of the 80s Steven Lang/Mastermold. He has much more personality as voiced by Bennet than as by David Fox. Still, David Fox is my Sentinel voice forever. Especially that pilot and Final Decision
damn morph is quite OP.
How Jean was so worthless here and Storm begging for help because of rocks? Whoa...
Strom is claustrophobic. This is due to an accident when a plane crashed into her home, when she was little. She was buried in rubble with her dead mom on top of her. She's had these panic attacks more than once throughout the series.
If someone should be afraid of planes it should be Cyke as he watched his mother die in one and supposedly his father who later turned up alive.
That might be a good point except that isn't what claustrophobia is. Its not planes she is afraid of, its small enclosed spaces. A plane just caused the original trauma that gave her the fear.
Yeah cause falling rocks don't hurt at all right? she's lucky to be alive considering she doesn't have regeneration or superhuman strength.
first thing she does is just get grabbed and held hostage. Even after morph saves her, she immediately gets shot down, and does nothing for the rest of the fight. she is literally the worst in this animation series.
1:15 Jean being Jean
Storm didn’t have to pick Morph up, Morph could have transformed into Angel again and flew out of there.
almost forgot about this episode
at the last episode morph is with the xmen. but i read that he was just a throwaway character. he was just a plot device for the x-men in the series. he kind of was just there to keep everyone's spirit up. jean grey to me was weaker than him but Jean appeared in like 65 episodes of the series which is good. glad they brought her back after the dark phoenix saga
Love Morph! He was a sweetheart in agr of apocalypse!
Too bad Morph never made any other Appearances in other X-Men cartoons like X-Men: Evolutions, Wolverine and the X-men, ect.
Storm being Claustrophobic and helpless was just as bad as Jean's fainting from slightly using her powers.
Actually the claustrophobia makes a lot of sense. She can always feel the wind so when she's in a small confined space where there's no wind it'd be like cutting off a limb for her.
Morph literally could’ve ended all of this in a snap if he’d transformed into Thanos! 🤣🤣🤣
But he would not have Thanos's full powers; just his physical strength 😁
@@nicholaslawrence6926 which is still a lot
I think he can only take on the physical attributes of his mimics but not their energy projectiles. lol
@@CPT85 Especially the Infinity Stones.
That's one thing I never completely comprehended.. Is morph a unique shapeshifter in the sense that anyone she shifts to he can copy their powers too? Mystique stated in one of the comics that most, if not all shifters, can't copy powers.
I thought the thread was that after Mr Sinister picked up his injured body from the first Master Mold mission he modified Morphs Body to boost his powers along with the brain implant he put in to control him.
I'm an evil villain I got a huge robot head that easily gets destroyed by a falling rock. hmmmmm lemme go into a cave with tons of said rocks
Mr HiGuy it's a late reply, but sentinels were in hiding and a cave would definitely work.
griz312 Why not...in space? They're robots.
LOL
The sentinals were in hiding to prepare to wipe out every mutant and to take over the world
@@-Trauma. well when you are heavily damaged have to rebuild and traped i would hide in a cave as well.
I remember recording this on vhs in the old days because this fight was so epic as a kid
Morph is one of my favorite characters when I was in high school cause he can change into anything & if was n dragon ball super he can do a fusion with one of the z fighters
Morph is even in the new X-Men 97
RIP Morph, you the man
I used to think of the Sentinels like the foot soldiers from the Ninja Turtles. Anyone know what I'm saying?
you mean that there are a lot of them and typically pretty useless?
Morph is back as a permanent X-Man member on X-Men 97, I heard the appearance of his face will be change to a pale human face but that's Morph's mutant ability of being a shapeshifter.
They're going to Morph's original comic appearance. Chances are that the appearance in the first run was just a form he took on to fit in better with the team, and they'll realize that they don't need that anymore.
And they made him gay... they cannot stop it.
@@OnslaughterExCan a mutant catch HIV or is that only a human failing?
@@daviejz6698 Good qeeation, but I think... yes. The majority of mutants can, except that with cure factors. There are also diceases that have only mutants as targets.
@@OnslaughterExThey made Morph non-binary, which is actually kinda logical, if you think about it: even if you discount the fact that the X-Men has always been an allegory for the struggle of minorities to fit into society, if you had the ability to shapeshift into anything you can think of, and had Morph's biological structure (which, in the comics, was more of a putty-like substance that allowed him to reattach severed limbs along with changing his appearance), wouldn't it become harder and harder for even you yourself to remember which body was your natural one, after a while?
They couldn't even have one clip without Jean moaning.
Morph rules
Indeed he does
I didn't know morph could emulate mutant powers
@@dav9620 omega red tentacles
Yes, like Mystique, they can duplicate the physical traits of other mutants, like having wings, talons, tentacles, muscles, etc.
But it's an imperfect imitation at best.
There was an episode where he morphed into Wolverine, but during a fight, his retractable claws were broken by the real Wolverine.
Only the possible ones like OMEGA RED he can use the tentacles but has no absorbing power, he can can be a beast or monster with an strength equal to the size and having a wings to fly... But if he copied storm then that's the time where he has no control of weather or Jean Grey but he couldn't have that teleknitec power.
As long as they are physical and aren't elementals that he can't replicate like adamantium
@nicholaslawrence6926 thanks for understanding this. There is a thread on x-men 97' reboot that has a Mandela effect of this. He won't have omega red's death factor nor could morph be magneto and reprogram/disintegrate the sentinels.
In X-Men 97 they need to address if Master Mold's death here altered Bishop's timeline. Not to mention give us Cable's origin.
Morph probably should've lead with his mutant powers instead of the gun
