Something I give evolution so much credit for was the huge cast, and how they didn't always keep focus on the mains. This show stands out as the only show that truly captured the vibe of the X-men, a school of mutants. Bringing in the New mutants made the show so much better, the whole cast felt more full. We got to see them grow into fighters. It lead to great character dynamics. Though I wish some got more screen time to. show their personalities(Jubilee, Sunspot, Wolfbane). I'll always be grateful to the show for introducing me to characters as a kid that I still love today through the comics. Even if they aren't in movies and this isn't an "accurate" line up.
This show needs to return
Ikr, I never understood people who hates it. The show should make a return, to start the Phoenix saga. We need to spread the word so Disney can do it.
@@BiG-JuPO1O1 that’s actually one my favorite things about the show, they didn’t take the “easy” route and go straight to the Phoenix Sage, but man I would’ve loved to see it. I feel like this Jean is the most likable that we’ve seen portrayed so losing her would’ve been more impactful

@@oklahomie95 Ikr I like how they build up character arcs for characters and doesn't automatically give them power boost without any build up. They did very well with Apocalypse and would of done well with Phoenix.

Xmen Evolution was a great show that doesn't get talked about enough when it comes to Marvel animated shows

The fact that she can created any size explosion she wants at will is truly incredible, from flash bangs to fucking nukes is crazy

@@peaceisnature yeah she can mentally set a detonation, for her it’s basically like counting from 1 to 10 then she imagines it exploding then BOOM!
Except Gambit can do that too.....he's used his power as pranks, including time delays, to even more powerful of knocking out the gladiator.
For a while he could make anything blow up just by looking at it, including organics.
Also, Gambit has potential of omega level power, because the NEW SUN version can destroy the world effortlessly(and has in his universe).
Point is, boom boom is a ripoff

Does anyone else feel bad for her character though? Her father was a criminal, both her parents divorced and she joined the Brotherhood of evil. All of this stems from her upbringing on why she behaves the way she does. I wish Boom Boom was in the X men movies!

Gosh I remember as a kid I hated how trifling she was. I was like sis can you do anything right? Can we just get rid of her she's immature, reckless, annoying, and a side switcher (working with the enemy then the heroes).
But when I watched the series again from an older pov (at 17), I was like: Dang! She came from an abusive household with a convict father who manipulated her and if i remember correctly a mother or family that used her powers to steal before. She had no good role models, no current (positive) blood relatives in the series, & thus she needed serious therapy and guidance....

and here students...we have a textbook case of what Chaotic Neutral looks like in the wild...notice it is not all random chaos and being a murderhobo (though there is a large amount of both)...there is planning and thought in some of the actions (nightcrawlers rocks, redecorating Mystic's room)...she just does whatever, whenever she feels.
If someone asked what early 2000s fashion looked like I would point them to this show

This show is really good and even introduced the character that made a live-action debut not too long ago x23 that just hasn't appeared since his show which was Spike which I don't understand why that character hasn't appeared outside of this show
Spike actually appeared in one of the X-Men movies. I can't remember which one. It was the one where the Wolverine killed Jean.

When you see a person just blowing things up when it doesn't go their way, they're CRAZY! Give that mentality of a child to a person with explosive powers, we have psychopath... she could be arrested for SO MANY THINGS!!! Property damage, assault, and the endangerment of others, ect.
I don't know why the school even accepts her as a student due to her most of the time exploding school property!

They accepted her to make her see what her powers could be used for good. Sadly her upbringing and experience cause her to be what she is, but it doesn't excuse her from all the trouble she caused for the school and X-Men.
I will always love that scene in evo with her making her booms and handing it off to the kid who can make copies of himself so he can sligshot them the prof such a funny and cool way of doing it
Boom Boom could have been a great X-Men member but chose to stay as she is. She chose to be destructive and not seek help even when Xavier and the school tried to explain how her powers could be used for good. If she wanted to change it was on her.

There’s a lot of mutants with similar energy manipulation powers. Boom Boom creates time bombs, gambit infuses objects with explody energy, Jubilee shoots plasma ‘fireworks’, Bishop absorbs energy and fires it back, Cyclops technically absorbs sunlight and fires a constant beam of energy from his eyes, Havok absorbs cosmic rays and fires plasma beams, Dazzler transduces sound into light, Skids projected force fields, pyro manipulated fire (technically a form of plasma), every telekinetic projected some kind of energy to move objects, etc etc etc.
she's just completely ungihnged and insane i love her
she is one of the sexier girls in the series (x men evolution), completely cool, is a pity that her relationship with Kurt did not work, because they were a interesting couple, anyway Tabitha deserves her animated spin-off someday, this babe is a blast, !YEAH¡.
