Thanks again for the great write-up and answering my question. I ordered this today along with the cameraa bracket. I was thinking of tieing the Amber lights to the headlights or possibly fog lights. Any reason not to? I was unsure about the amber lights at first, but they are growing on me. Not sure I want them on all the time and likely would forget about them if I had them on a switch.
@@kenromer1 I thought about wiring the amber lights to the headlights as well. But from what research I did, it sounds like the fuses are under the glove box and not inside the engine bay. So it would be challenging to wire it up. Your next best option would be to wired up to the ignition fuse like I showed in the video. I wanted the option to turn them off, so that’s why I use the aux switch.
@@MuscleAmerican Thanks for the reply. I see now that the aux switches only have power when the truck is on. I was concerned about them staying on. I should have dug deeper, I was afraid they would stay on and deplete the battery. My bad, but I learned something :)
Got the grille for my 2024 Manual Sport. With Underground colored letters to match truck. Ready to install. Using Aux buttons. Best install video I've seen so far. Watched a few times and looking forward to finished product. Thanks for great video. Question, when pulling apart vents and fender, any chance the clips will break or not click back together?
@ the fender clips are a little challenging to put back in. If you’re worried about it then you could buy a few back ups. The clips for the air intake are Really easy, you can’t mess those up.
Fantastic video , thanks , would you be hable to make a video on how to install a lighter plug inside the bed of the truck using the AUX 1 switch to turn it on or off ? thanks
New subscriber 🎉 Are you planning on Pro wheels and Pro fender flares? I'm hesitating to pay outrageous Pro price, but like the looks. And seems like Off Road with few mods will turn it to Pro look waaaay more affordable. Thoughts?
Getting ready to start grille install. One last question not addressed in video. Are there any issues with the sensors in the front left and right side also get removed or a need new clip? I recently had to have my rear bumper cover replaced due to someone backing into my truck and they needed a vlip for that sensor, so checking to make sure I have all parts. Hope this also help others with owners of a 2024 Tacoma Sport with upgrade package. Thank you.
Thanks for the vids. Can you tell us how long it took to replace the grill? I got a quote from a shop saying that it would take them 5 hours. Is this true? It didn't seem that complicated from your video.
I absolutely love that grill. I do have a question. I would like to have my raptor lights connect to my headlights or park lights. As I'm sure you know there is little out there on the 2024 Tacomas and I cannot find what fuse to connect them too. Do you happen to know or have any suggestions on how to find the right fuse. My 2016 had them listed on the lid but this one doesn't. Thank you and keep those 24 videos coming.
So from what research I did the headlight fuses are actually inside the truck on the passenger side. (I didn’t verify that) so it would be really hard to wire them up that way. Another option would be to wire them up to the ignition fuse. I did show that in the video.
Have you had any opportunity to compare it toe the quality of the OEM Pro grill? I really like the mod and appreciate your videos. Hard to tell quality from the video. Any comment on that?
I have not seen the OEM grilles in person but the OEM trd pro grille is gloss black so that would be different. The OEM trailer hunter is matte black like the grille in the video. I can’t imagine there being a big difference in quality. It’s plastic and I have a hard time paying a premium for it.
Good job bud. Are you still getting low miles till empty for your gas reading? I went past 0 and when I filled up, it was 274. I know I get well over 300.

The typeface doesn't look right on the front. It might look close, but it screams replica compared to the OEM. It's close enough most people won't know. But one glance at the OEM and then at the ripoff, and you'll easily spot the difference.
