2 years ago i thought i had the *perfect* girl for me, she was kind, nice, and very caring to me, and to everyone around her as well. little did i know that she was very weird about getting reactions from me.. she would talk to my guy friends, and any guy, and then send me screenshots of it. it was so so weird to me. i ended up calling her something that no one should be called. even after saying this, i still dated her, and it was probably the worst thing that i could ever do to myself. ||1 year ago-->|| She upped her talking game and decided to *actually* talk and hang out with my friend. on top of that, when i found out she did that, i just sent angry texts, and she said im overreacting and then i blocked her, she eventually sent screenshots of what i called her to my friends, which were also her friends. i lost all of them and now im by myself, but surrounding myself with more trustworthy people.
You did the right thing and made the correct decision, never entertain those types of girls that stab you in the back and treat you that bad

This reminds me of something that happened to me last year in my senior year of high school. There was this one girl who had the fattest crush on me. As a Muslim man who tries to keep it halal, I never approached or talked to her. There were multiple times where she waved at me trying to get my attention, but I would just ignore her.
Until one day I was sitting in class working on an assignment with a friend (we were told to partner up). The girl walk into class late and the teacher tells her to pick up the assignment and work on it alone (while directing her where to sit). Now without picking up the assignment, out of every single empty seat (about 5 -10) she decides to sit right next to me ( all the in the back). She looks at my friend and goes (hey guys, while smiling). I already knew what was up but I still fell for it trying to get the assignment done.
I remember trying to explain to her what the assignment was about and what we had to do, but she kept on ignoring me. I think this was her way of trying to get me to chase her, but it still made me feel like sh*t the way she was ignoring me. She even had the audacity to ask for a pencil even though I knew damn well she had one (I ended up giving her my pen for a bit like a fool).
I don't know if this means much, but at the end of the day she saw me walking towards her and she turned to her friends (prolly letting them know I'm around). I think she prolly told them that she sat next to me today.
Anyways that's about it. This girl I was talking about had the biggest crush on me (and i knew it 100% bc of all the signs she was throwing). And on top of that, I think her friends liked me too (4 other girls, all smiling and playing with their hairs and what not whenever they would see me). But as a Muslim man, I had to keep it halal so I avoided/ignored them to the best of my ability.

As a guy raised by a single mother who also has an older sister, I’ve heard a lot from them. Women know what they are doing.
I have this female friend who had this crush on this guy who was in 2 of her classes. She would always mention him, so at some point I told her to just start talking to him (they literally have a lab class together, she could easily just happen to sit next to him and ask for help).
However, she insisted that she somehow find his name and instagram before talking to him. It completely confused me. Was she just scared, why did she approach it this way? Eventually, she overheard his name and we found his instagram. But then it became "should I just follow request him? Should I follow request more mutuals to make it seem more natural?"
This video clicked with me because I realized women prefer to take the most calculated approach, even if it's time-consuming and takes up their focus.
To men such as myself, it's either ask the girl out or you're just wasting your time and energy (still true btw).
It's interesting to see the difference, probably has a lot to do with evolutionary biology (maybe girls put more stock into the pursuit of one mate while guys aim for more efficiency with each pursuit?)
most guys don’t have standards 😭 i wish both men and women had standards. talking to multiple people at once, showing that you’re not prepared to be loyal is SUCH a turn off, so yeah, we’re more careful about it. Men statistically cheat more, and a partnership with a man is way more risky for us biologically, so we’re more careful.

This exact thing has been happening to me. This girl in my psychology class followed me on Instagram and when I started getting into Radiohead and then posting it on my stories and then SHE STARTED BECOMING OBSESSED WITH THEM. I also noticed that in class, she would tilt her phone slightly every time she would open Spotify, and linger on it for a few seconds. I did fall for it a couple times admittedly, being like "That is a very good song" and she would reply "yay" or something. She then went on to make it incredibly obvious (not the smartest i guess) by just consistently stalking my spotify i guess and continued posting (sometimes quite obscure) songs that i listen to. This happens to this day, being when I posted a picture of a guitar on my story, she then posted something subtly with a guitar in it on her private. The strangest part about her though, is that she literally HAS A BOYFRIEND?! So what is the motive?

happened to me over a year ago. I had been home schooled my entire life so the idea of putting me in a school fantasied my parents. Eventually, I joined a high school and met this girl who was a grade above me. everyone told me how she was caring, nice, popular, and overall a down to earth person. As being a teenage dumbass, all this info galvanized me during those weeks. I told my close friends about how I had developed feeling and allat and they seemed pretty chill w it. In an instant the next day she texted me saying loads irrelevant stuff which idc bout but still did shock me. turns out she was getting info from my very friends and possibly all the people i knew 😂. It did upset me on how i was lied to and my friends became snakes js for that one popular girl. But yeah, they are calculated, they know whatchu gon do and they gon set shi up b4 u. Not to mention, tha girl still is all over me by stalking my acc or even asking my new friends for info meaning i be living in her head rent free(mb). it is what it is, but keep ur heads up.
