Fordyce has to be an A+++ trail. 20 years ago it was only open once yearly as a seasonal group run.

My dad took me on Fordyce circa 1988. We were in his CJ5 with 30 inch tires. Did the trail in one day. I guess the trail has changed a bit.

Fordyce is tricky. The creek.. controlled by dams. Early season the water crossings can be too deep, too fast to drive across. Even the time of day,
Afternoons in the summer more water is released. Snow melt.
